Great food both for breakfast and dinner. On top of that the rooms had really comfortable beds and a nice restroom. The only negative was that the rooms were a bit small but apart from that everything was really good

Rooms a little outdated but the view really made up for all as well as the service and friendliness of everyone working there. Pool was clean and cool and not busy at all for the early June. Great ambience!

This is a nice cosy hotel in a lovely location, but it needs renovation. The rooms are nice but they have signs of deterioration. The service is very good and the people are very polite.

Valeni is a beautiful gem of a hotel in Greece! The most comfortable beds and pillows, the warm welcoming atmosphere, the views, the crackling fire with the twinkling lights looking over the view of Volos - all unbeatable! But the best of all are the staff led by their amazing manager Angeliki

Our stay at Valeni was excellent. We stayed in the junior suite. We first went to the spa and then had massages. Both were wonderful, especially because the spa is booked for an hour so we had it all to ourselves

Margot and Sokrates were both very professional and did an amazing job. I was truly able to unwind at Valeni and I want to thank everyone for a job exceptionally well done. 6 stars if it were possible!!

Spiros cooked an outstanding breakfast, with many homemade options, a variety of eggs, vegetables, fruits, etc. The homemade sweets were especially delicious. 10/10 would recommend a stay at Valeni!

Just incredible. Where to start. The view is breathtaking. The rooms are excellent. The staff is wonderful. And the breakfast was delicious, especially the hand made pies. Absolutely recommended.

We have been here for lunch. Excellent food. No English menu but very nice owners who translate the menu.

We had the so called “honeymoon suite”, a spacious room with a large terrace and also a jacuzzi, and, following the Covid rules, we had the opportunity to enjoy the hotel spa just for ourselves

Beautiful, atmospheric and clean hotel in a central but quiet location with a great view. The services are good and the staff is friendly. We haven't got the chance to experience the spa yet

Breakfast is available until 11 a. , and you can have it in a patio outside, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The staff was very kind and professional, always happy to help

Nearby beaches has blue flag award for water cleanliness and other 32 criterias. Parking is spacious and the garden is lovely. The hotel is beachfront but instead of the beach, it has a floating platform

We decided to celebrate New Years Eve in Valis Resort. As far as I am concerned it is the best Resort ever. The staff is very polite and smiling. The junior suite very big, two rooms, two bathrooms

Comfortable beds, mattress and pillows. The cleaners experts willing to help. The buffet was large with a variety of flavors. The waitress were polite and helpful. Last but not least the Valis Spa

The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. We haven't seen mosquitoes during our stay. The complex has great spa and conference facilities

Gym, hot tub, and sauna use was all free. Resteraunt was pretty decent as well. They also offer massages but they need to be scheduled. Overall, a fun, semi- luxurious place to stay in the city!

I’ve stayed here a few times over the years and always had a good stay. The staff are beyond friendly and have impeccable local knowledge. The location is absolutely stunning

On my most recent visit certain small things like chips in the surfaces in my bathroom and on some of the furniture and you can see in the wooden surfaces that the varnish/treatment does show it’s age a slight bit

A little check on the furniture and maybe a lick of varnish on the wooden surfaces would really complete the stay to the highest standard. Despite the very minor suggestions I made i fully intend on staying again

Out-door pool is alright and open to public (who pay), sea view rooms (where we stayed) were noisy at night until about 00. But a wedding on our second night went on until 5 am

Great location, quite, in the woods, great view, very nice environment, spacious rooms, very clean. The pool is a great plus, you can swim during the day and you can enjoy cocktails and drinks by the pool at night

The suite was perfectly furnished with everything you would need. My only recommendation for the suite is to install an actual shower head holder. The restaurant serves great food, beverages, and cocktails

The breakfast has everything you need and is served until late. The hotel offers also a good variety of food all day long, which is also a great plus. There is also a jacuzzi - we did not use it though

A small kids playground is available and I think there is also a small football court. Pet friendly to those how are interested. The owner and the staff are very kind and helpful in every way they can

My personal favorite, and recommendation, is the Carbonara. The most redeeming quality of the entire place is the staff. I was with my wife and children and it felt like we were staying with family

Great place to stay in Portaria, Pelion. Rooms are clean and the standard room are large enough. there is a swimming pool at the yard and great view of Vollos and the sea below

We in December as a couple really enjoyed the area, view and hotel. I knew it was an older built hotel but therefore knew it would have more spacious rooms and higher ceilings and parking

Perfect location if you need to catch the ferry in the morning. Literally 100m from the harbour. For parking there is a private paid parking just opposite the hotel

The rooms are tidy but old furniture and completely disasterous toilet/bath, the location is super, the staff are very friendly and kind. Worth for the price

Five stars if you sleep one night. 1 star if you sleep more. Average 3 stars. The rooms have not been renovated or upgraded since they were build. Great for historians but not for young people.

Yes indeed the road is a little bumpy but nothing more than a car can't handle,the bumpy road is about 200 metres or less and there is a parking in the hotel 🏨. The breakfast is very decent with a big variety of products

The location is good and if you leave the car in the parking lot of the hotel you can walk your way from portaria to makrinitsa in half an hour. So better walking than talking your car

5 euros is considered to be a tax that is not calculated in the overall price nevertheless you pay it and it would be could to be informed for this fee from the start

Long story short a decent place to relax especially if you hit a similar or better price if you are there do not miss going to Volos for tsipoura and mezedes!

Clean and cozy rooms in the central plaza of portaria. Almost everything is either locally produced or made by the landlady. My favourites are the apple pie and pasta flora. Excellent for relaxation and extra warmth

Hotel Filoxenia is a small hotel hidden in between some others in Portaria. The owners take pride in their quiet and welcoming establishment and provide you everything you need

Excellent Hotel at the Heart of Volos!!!! The rooms are somehow small but they are very clean and cozy! People have been writing complaints about the lack of elevator; however, the max you will have to take the stairs is for 3 floors

Only reason why I gave 4 stars for the room was because mine was on the main road, so a bit noisy, even with the doors shut. But overall very good and I would stay here again

Great place for a 1 night stay. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The only downsides were a small bathroom, no shower curtain and bed sheets didn't fit the bed fully
