-The hotel is not up to 5 stars standards, maybe when it was new. -The breakfast was good. -The bed and pillows were comfortable. - Room was huge but with old furniture. -Pool area was nice. -Location is good.

The pool looked lovely although I didn't get around to using it. I can't see myself spending summer holidays there, but it was ok for a weekend

Breakfasts were exceptional with a big variety of foods including fresh fruits, excellent coffee and juices. The central conditioning was working properly even on tropical temperatures. The hotel staff was super nice

Nearby beaches has blue flag award for water cleanliness and other 32 criterias. Parking is spacious and the garden is lovely. The hotel is beachfront but instead of the beach, it has a floating platform

We decided to celebrate New Years Eve in Valis Resort. As far as I am concerned it is the best Resort ever. The staff is very polite and smiling. The junior suite very big, two rooms, two bathrooms

Out-door pool is alright and open to public (who pay), sea view rooms (where we stayed) were noisy at night until about 00. But a wedding on our second night went on until 5 am

on the sea front, spacious gardens. actually it is a 5 star hotel disguised as 4 star. breakfast id outstanding very!!!!! rich buffet. tens of jams, confitures, cereals. definitely a place to come again

Very accommodating. We had to bring our three dogs and they allowed us. They still to provided us with a great room that was sea view

The balcony of the room can directly see the ships returning to the port, and the sea is visible as soon as the window is opened

On my most recent visit certain small things like chips in the surfaces in my bathroom and on some of the furniture and you can see in the wooden surfaces that the varnish/treatment does show it’s age a slight bit

food, room, cleanliness accommodation environment excellent. Helpful staff, roads for walking, close to the inns and Makrinitsa for nearby escapes. good prices in relation to the facilities. Worth it.

Rooms a little outdated but the view really made up for all as well as the service and friendliness of everyone working there. Pool was clean and cool and not busy at all for the early June. Great ambience!

The bathrooms are nice and had all the amenities. We enjoyed sitting in the dinning room balcony with wonderful view of the Volos area. It is a pity we could not use the swimming pool and spa as we stayed only the night

Perfect location 3day break Great swimming pool however 11:00 am opening was a half day gone. Staff were attentive in the hotel. Dining room was lovely so was dinner

A good hotel in a nice setting on the way up to Pelion Mountain above the town of Volos in central Greece , with clean rooms and clean pool and beutifull garden

An old building that has been renovated. With a lot of details to amenities. Rooms are a bit small, there isn’t much space to open up luggage. Breakfast is good with a decent variety

We spent 2 nights at the Pelion Resort and it was very good. The rooms are big, with a good bathroom and good bed. They have a very good pool (I enjoyed all day!) and their service is very friendly and kind

The breakfast has everything you need and is served until late. The hotel offers also a good variety of food all day long, which is also a great plus. There is also a jacuzzi - we did not use it though

A small kids playground is available and I think there is also a small football court. Pet friendly to those how are interested. The owner and the staff are very kind and helpful in every way they can

I wish for Greece to not allow smoking in the property or have some non smoking floors. Second hand smoke is concerning— especially when I am coughing and congested in my own room

Awesome they have bathtubs, super comfortable beds, safes in rooms, and balconies. Breakfast is optional and staff at breakfast are attentive and friendly

Rooms very good, but minor issue such as broken showerholder (not recent) etc. A lack of link between what was on the poolbar menu, and what the bar actually offered (much more limited) etc

The hotel’s design is old fashioned. We ordered a room with a mountain and pool views, there aren’t rooms that offers both. The hotel’s overview didn’t mention that the pool is closed

When we asked about it they said its because the other room was at a different category! The pool should have been heated due to low temperatures

Very good looking room, very clean, great staff, and a very cozy Christmas environment; what else could you ask for around December? The lobby is a place to have a seat and enjoy a book or in case you have to work, take your laptop/tablet and be productive

We in December as a couple really enjoyed the area, view and hotel. I knew it was an older built hotel but therefore knew it would have more spacious rooms and higher ceilings and parking

It was better than we expected with helpful staff. Breakfast and restaurant ver good nearby with good vibe and food. Can walk to village center also

The pool setup is fantastic, we nearly spent our entire holiday there - great little sun trap with some beautiful views of the mountains and surrounding scenery

The sea is only about a 5 minute walk away and the pool is very refreshing. It can be considered quite cold but it's only until you start swimming and moving around. Hydromassage is also available there as well

Our room was perfect, very clean, comfortable with a biggg bed (we were very much impressed by the sewn embroidery of the hotel's logo on the sheets and towels, very chic and regal) and extremely quiet

Hotel Filoxenia is a small hotel hidden in between some others in Portaria. The owners take pride in their quiet and welcoming establishment and provide you everything you need

The breakfast is wonderful both salad and sweet, with handmade Greek products, preserves, cakes and so on. Kritsa, her parents and her daughter are all very kind and helpful

Five stars if you sleep one night. 1 star if you sleep more. Average 3 stars. The rooms have not been renovated or upgraded since they were build. Great for historians but not for young people.

Location is right in the middle of the main shopping district (note that most shops are closed Saturday afternoon) and 10/15min walk to the ferries

Only reason why I gave 4 stars for the room was because mine was on the main road, so a bit noisy, even with the doors shut. But overall very good and I would stay here again
