Beautiful hotel with extremely helpful staff, the room was nice with a private balcony and big shower. The pool and pool bar were wonderful with amazing views of Volos harbor and sunsets. Breakfast buffet was probably the best I remember from any hotel I've been to- they make all of the pastries, cakes, and local specialty items in house- the honey balls and custard cakes were delicious

Despotiko is a very fine hotel at a high point of portaria with means it also has an amazing view. The service is flawless although we did encounter some telephone pranking at one point. The food wasn't very good the first night(Tuesday) but was almost perfect the next day. The breakfast is absolutely worth it. Value for money for the dates that I went end of July paying 50€ with breakfast was a very good price.Yes indeed the road is a little bumpy but nothing more than a car can't handle,the bumpy road is about 200 metres or less and there is a parking in the hotel 🏨 .The breakfast is very decent with a big variety of products .The hotel does have a pool also which is very nice.Overall it is a smooth place...

Clean and quiet room and friendly staff. However disappointed by the closed pool and SPA/Massage facilities and personnel. Only one person for massage and therefore full and they couldn’t arrange time for me and my wife to get it at least consequently. Very polite staff. Excellent spot right on the beach and very clean. It is also very close to Volos. The only reason I rate it as five is that in my opinion it is less luxurious than a typical five star hotel. For example the quality of breakfast was low to medium. On the other hand it is value for money. The more luxurious five star hotels are more expensive.

There were good aspects here and some not so great. The hotel needs a renovation and our room was tired. It smelt horrible when we opened the door - it was from the drainage. We have stayed there for 3 nights, the stuff were super nice and answered every request with a smile. The breakfast buffet was very good with many different options.

We spent 2 nights at the Pelion Resort and it was very good. The rooms are big, with a good bathroom and good bed. They have a very good pool (I enjoyed all day!) and their service is very friendly and kind. Everything we needed, they were ready to provide. Also very good breakfast. We would return for sure!

The hotel was convenient to the train station and Hertz. It is on the edge of the lovely walkway along the sea. The beds were two singles pushed together, not very comfortable. It was clean and a bit dated. The breakfast was adequate.

The Erofili hotel provided us an exceptional hospitality as well as a super handmade breakfast, same is located in the center of Portaria village with all the hotspots in walking distance. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable enough and cozy.

Simply outstanding. We stayed in a suite that was fully renovated(we were one of the first to sleep there after the renovation) with modern but also a bit of traditional style.
