We loved our two night stay at Bonvino. The hotel is very conveniently located a short distance from the train and bus stations and near plenty of wineries. The spa was clean and relaxing. The food spreads for breakfast and dinner were excellent and beautifully presented. I would return.

The hotel is ok, but compared to other hotels at the Balaton, it’s got room for improvement. The room wasn’t really clean with hairs in the shower and next to the sink. No drinks in the mini bar and snacks wasn’t exactly inviting. The breakfast was really nice, but the evening meal was not appetising at all due to all the meats being very dry. All in all, the hotel is fine for the price.

Hotel is nice. Unfortunately placed in downtown near entertainment park. Be carefull if you do not like to listen loud music during the late night while in bed already. Check on wine festivals in Badascony before you make your reservation!

Our favourite place to stay in Badacsony. Friendly staff, great food and nice rooms. Dogs are welcome. Wellness is small, but very enjoyable.

The breakfast provided a wide variety of selections that accomodated all types of dietary needs or restrictions. The evening dinner was also an impressive array of meals. I have a gluten free diet and there is a prominantly displayed message board detailing any dietary restrictions the prepared meals may have and each meal is described and the restrictions listed.

The place is really nice. But not for international guests. Almost nothing is in english and you have to keep asking for help when you want to have dinner. Only hungarian descriptions everywhere. The rooms are ok, spacious but you can hear what's going on in the neighbouring rooms. The bathrooms are illogical. The showers are open, without a door or shower curtain so the whole floor and there is no mat on the floor so you have to use a towel. The waiters are extremely impatient during breakfast/lunch/dinner and take away your plate as soon as you put down your cutlery. And they reach over your plate if they need to reach someones next to you. Overall, the place is OK but a little overrated based on the reviews.

Amazing wine hotel situated walking distance from the train station. Everything is within walking distance - wineries, stores, a huge boat pier as well as the local beach!!! Do Not pass up the chance to stay here - the food is incredible as well, including many Gluten Free dishes!

We had a fantastic long weekend at Hotel Bonvino with our friends. Already at reservation they provided a high quality service. Special thanks to Alexandra at sales who was able to book us the perfect rooms (room type, room location). Tipp: ask for a garden view when booking. All other personnel was very helpful as well.
The location is great, only 200 m from the lake and close to wine places on the hill.
We had a modern type room we really liked it. The bathroom was nice and tidy as well, the only thing was with the shower: it had no glass door or curtain and I know it is design but the whole bathroom was like a swimming pool after a shower.
The morning and evening buffet was delicious, only the sweets in the evening were not to our taste (mainly cake type things).
The spa area is clean and was never very crowded although the hotel was fully booked.
All in all, I can really recommend this hotel.

Helpful staff and fine dining food. The spa is clean but small. Only one swimming pool and one jacuzzi is available and two Finnish saunas, no steam bath or anything else. The room is pretty and clean. But bathroom could be improved. I had a wonderful time there.
