Reviews
While the hotel could benefit from some renovations, the overall experience is still excellent for those seeking relaxation. The peaceful ambiance, combined with its natural surroundings, creates an ideal place to rejuvenate.
Budapest, to my surprise, has one of the best public transportation systems in the world. It is impressively punctual, modern, and easy to use. From the hotel on Margaret Island, you can conveniently take bus number 26 to commute to the city center and return without any hassle. This makes exploring the city both simple and enjoyable while staying at such a tranquil location.
Definitely would return
The hotel is well connected by a bus service that runs quite frequently, 2 bus stops are within 7min walking distance.
We loved the spa and wellness area as well- atleast 4 bit hot tubs with different temperatures, a swimming pool with 4 lanes, different saunas. The outside pool was quite small in comparison. Their gym was also well equipped and well-maintained. It has a table tennis table as well. The garden outside is just brilliant and you get a good view of it from the terrace.
Right at the entrance to the wellness area is a Mineral Water dispenser that you MUST try... the taste of the water is definitely different but if you read about its benefits its quite amazing.
The morning breakfast was quite decent, always fresh. The staff were very friendly. The seating area is also quite big so even during rush hours you would definitely find a table. We ordered room service for dinner on one of the days - the taste of the food was quite good.
My only complaints that the bathroom door had a huge gap around and not so private if sharing a room with a friend.
Took my mum there for Mother’s Day and we spent 2 days and 1 night here. The check in was very smooth, the team was friendly, polite and very helpful in every case we turned to them. The rooms were very clean and well equipped, we even had a mini-fridge, which was great to keep some food in or for cold drinks, plus multiple towels and a dressing gown each was provided for the spa. We had a terrace, that was also a lovely addition to our room (had our morning coffee there).
In the afternoon we enjoyed the spa facilities - dipped into the thermal waters, used the steam rooms and also visited the outdoor pool on the terrace.
After a great dinner at the buffet (where they were also very knowledgeable and helpful and recommended me vegan dishes), we had a stroll on the island, played some ping pong next to the gym and watched the sunset on the roof, that opened from the end of one of the floors.
The next day we had a nice breakfast at the buffet and after checking out we waited in the lounge for our transfer whilst enjoying some treats from the bar.
Very charming place with a great staff and amazing amenities. Highly recommend it.
There are walks, trees, sport activities, parks, zoo, swimming pool and many other activities.
The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, super clean.
The dinners and breakfasts are rich and healthy, super delicious.
The spa is big and clean, medical services are professional. All is well maintained. We enjoyed the pool bars.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed everything.
Breakfast was good.
Spa was great with the best opening hours I saw, from 07,00 till 21,00.
Service was good.
Rooms were good.
The only minus was additional cost for car parking.
The view, the location of hotel on the Danube island, were amazing plus.
We really enjoyed.
