Herbert Samuel Milos Dead Sea

On arrival we got given our room and it smelled like an ashtray and we also asked for a sea view but it was anything but. We had a nice view of the car park and opposite hotels bin area. we got to move rooms but into a very small room for a family for 4. I also requested for a late check out but after calling reception twice and was told someone will call us back but never did I assumed it was ok. The following day we got told we had to leave the room at 12 o’clock and even after I explained that our 1 year old needs to have a nap and we will be gone by 1 o’clock they said it was not possible and basically forced us out the room. All in all, ok hotel, average/ok breakfast but absolutely terrible service. And unwillingness to accommodate our needs. Left with a sad feeling and obviously will never return.

It’s also important to note that after checkout I was expecting a small refund because the room we actually stayed in was much smaller therefore cheaper by about ₪600 I was told I will only get ₪120. And that made the feeling worse as we basically got ripped off. What a absolute disgrace

Good real estate, good restaurants. Right across the street from the dead sea, but then again, so are its competitors.
The main issue here was that the receptionist charged me $60 more than the confirmed (already high) price from booking.com. Let's see if booking.com can help. If they can, I'll edit this review accordingly.
The other issue here was the very long wait at the hotel bar. We waited for over half an hour without getting served. The waitress came at some point, asked what we wanted, didn't know what a Capirinha is, said she'd bring the bar's cocktail menu and never came back. Clearly a staffing issue as I could not see any other waiter there within the 40 or so minutes we spent thirsting here.
If this hotel were run right, it would be a great place. It has 2 beautiful, large pools, too. Too bad they stink like chlorine, even from the loungers. Ugh.

Very poor experience with Isrotel customer service, we've been charged canceling fee when we wanted to cancel the order after less than 24 hours, we've red the reviews here in Google and we've decided that this hotel is not good enough for us, all other hotels don't charge cancelation fee if the customer cancels the order 7 days before the arrival date - Which makes sense, this network will charge you for it, BUYER BE AWARE !!!
