The rooms we were assigned were acceptable, but unfortunately, the hotel appears to lack proper maintenance. Everything seems old and worn, with noticeable scratches. Additionally, the shower tends to flood after each use. On the positive side, the hotel's location offers a 5-7 minute walk to the beach, and there's also a shuttle option available. The dining room served delicious food, and the service was pleasant. We appreciate the spacious Sukkah, though we're uncertain if the overall experience justifies the cost.

Day 1: Waiting in line for about 30 minutes, finally received our room: the room was smelling bad and it was dirty. The food isn’t good and its really cold. The hotel is not child friendly it has no activities for childrens, the hotel is mostly for people over 16 years old. The bathroom is not clean. The rooms are dusty and the balcony is not clean. The pool slide was broken and the lifeguards were on their phones all the time. The swimming pool is very dirty it looks like its only washed on Sundays.

Day 2: The workers are not good, the lunch was really bad and there was no choice of food we had to ask the workers to give us we asked the workers to bring more food they gave us frozen shnitzel, so we went to the reception to tell them that the food was awfull and to give us money back, the owner of the hotel (Yulia) didnt give us anything. The hotel is dirty and it has a lot of cockroaches. The hotel is located 10 minutes from the dead sea.

Facilities are nice, view is great, food is mostly sababa (not great, not bad).
No smoking zones are technically defined (with signs) but not enforced, so the smell of cigarettes is common around the pool (including kids area).

The personnel is rude and they talk to you very arrogant and aggressive. At the beach their guy started to clean the seat while I was staying there and he threw all the sand on my face with a towel.

At the restaurant they don’t wait until you finish eating. They take the food from you and make you leave.

The cards from our rooms were working a couple of times and after that you need to change them. We change the cards at least 2 times. Not recommending this hotel.

#1 FIRE HAZARD. The dining room seats hundreds of people. There are several sets of doors leading directly outside. However, the doors are all BOLTED shut. In an emergency, everyone would exit would through to a small lobby and then an external door to get outside. A stampede could be avoided if the interior doors were not bolted. The dining room manager wasn't concerned about this.
#2 Horrible beds. Old and uncomfortable.
#3 Low quality food. While there is an abundance of food, much of it was either dried out, greasy, bland or otherwise unappealing. Limitations in quality control can also be seen in the broken water bottle at our table.
#4 This hotel is not ideal for non-Hebrew speakers. It was hard to get basic information. For example, what is the best way to get to the beach? Maps and activities were only listed in Hebrew.
#5 It is difficult to describe the spa where my husband and I each got massages. As mentioned in #4, it was difficult to get information. We thought we were getting a couple's massage and that wasn't the case. During our massages we were told little and asked nothing. During the mud wrap portion of the experience, we were left alone in a dank room with no music but at least there was a clock on the wall. The physical setting could be described as rustic at best. But that may make it seem appealing.
There are more negatives--see other reviews!

Were there any positives? Yes.
#1. There are signs in the main lobby that this was once a grand hotel. Unique artwork can be found in the main halls.
#2. There was excellent water pressure in the shower.

This is the only disappointing hotel during our two week Israeli visit.

MINUS FIVE STARS! AVOID THIS HOTEL, DON'T LOOK AT THE ATTRACTIVE PRICES!!!! You will only spoil your Dead Sea days. This hotel's mission is to keep all the guests disappointed and angry whenever possible. RUDE STAFF! Everything is DIRTY and/or BROKEN. 2 laps in my room were broken, 1 socket was off, the little freezer inside the fridge didn't have a door (broken!), so it was all covered by ice and didn't stop making noise 24/7. I couldn't lock the room door as it was completely broken too. The manager fixed the door, but I had to wait for 1 hour late in the evening. I asked 5 times to have a room with a sunrise view, 4 times online prior to arrival and 1 time in person during the check-in, but I had NONE, they completely ignored me. They don't open the spa on time. In my room, there were towels from the previous guests. At 9 am A MALE CLEANER entered my room, I was lucky I was dressed! What if I was asleep???? Apparently, to avoid that, you have to use the Don't Disturb lamp even if you don't get up late. There was tobacco smell in the room all the time from other balconies where guests smoke and nobody cares, so you won't be able to sleep with an open window. And when I called and asked about the possibility of late check-out a rude lady told me I must come down to the reception to ask about that and I cannot ask about that by phone. WHAT???? This team doesn't know what is hospitality!

Overall the hotel was ok for its price, nice breakfast+dinner. The problem was the room: it was dirty and smelled of smoke. The view from the room +the location of the hotel was nice. DO NOT GO into the swimming pool, it's VERY dirty.
Not all of the reception desks were open so there was a queue. The service was good.

Food was awesome. Such a variety. The view was amazing. To check in and out was difficult as there was a long queue. The spa section was my favourite. Amazing jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and warm pool. The staff could be a little friendlier, but that might just be my South African coming out.

Great location next to the Dead Sea. After floating in the Dead Sea near the hotel, guests can continue the experience of floating in dense salt water under more convenient environment in the indoor and outdoor salt water pools within the hotel.

Managed to catch sunrise from the room balcony too.

Walking location to the dead see, great views from hotel, dinner buffet was great.
I asked hotel staff for a glass of ice at 800 pm dinner staff said we don't have any more ice. Went to front desk asking for a glass of ice told to go to the bar. Bar staff did give me a small glass of ice. I'm an American we love ice. Let me haven't access to an ice machine and I will leave you alone.
