Very basic but clean rooms and beds. We were on a pilgrimage so it sufficed. Dinner and breakfast not bad either.The grocery store opposite closes by 7 and is stocked with only essentials. So don’t rely too much on it. Property is old and tired. Swimming pool a definite no no.

My 1st time staying in this hotel. This is my 2nd time coming to Israel and on this trip i really enjoyed the food. Awesome salad bar at Plaza Hotel. I'll never know if they replaced the towels in the room or just folded them nicely. Anyway my room is decent enough for me to sleep soundly. I like that the shower stall isn't cold in winter. located at the heights , nothing around just residential areas. break fast spread was good, dinner was ok. rooms are good well maintained . the hall ways smell of smoke sometimes. break fast was in a huge room with a sitting capacity of more than 100 people. limited options but taste was good.

The rooms were smal and had old furniture. The lift was tiny and only 1. We were 202 guests!

You will get treatment like coming to stay in a family home in this hotel. It is not up beat and of higher stars as other hotels but it can boast of a very warm hospitality that is very unusual. Everything was perfect. The sunrise amazing.

The immediate area and volunteer guides were excellent. I really enjoyed being close to the beach and sitting by the water. The chapel is outstanding for a place to pray and meditate. The hotel did not pick up the phone after booking when I had questions. The beds and the room itself were really small. And the hotel has a set temperature for all rooms you can’t change it for your comfortable temperature, I had to sleep with an open window and hear street noise all night.

The communal areas were great, and the food was AMAZING. The rooms were clean, but could do with a lick of paint or some DIY. The pool area was nice, but above the busy road into Tiberias.

The outside looks okay but the room is quite old. There is nothing to shout about on the food selection as it is standard buffet style for dinner and breakfast. It's a quiet and nice boutique hotel. Not fancy. Offer good service. The staff were mostly welcoming but not all. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. Our room (superior with a Sea View) was spacious and functional. It is an older hotel so the furniture design is out of date. Breakfast was very good and lots of variety. We also got a late check out. There is plenty of public parking on the street. We enjoyed our stay. This was March 2025 during the Hamas war, so there were not many tourists there at all

Excellent hotel, perfectly located. Free parking 5 minutes from the hotel. Lovely staff at top levels and a perfect breakfast. I am vegan and Alberto, the dining room manager immediately made sure I had plenty of options. He was particularly charming. Perfect hospitality!!!

The food at breakfast and dinner was simply outstanding and was beautifully presented.The staff were polite and helpful. Altogether an unforgettable stay (7 days)

We stayed for three nights over the holiday weekend. Everything was perfect and what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. The service was impeccable and the food was really great. I could list everything, but it was all good. My only suggestion is to perhaps provide some type of evening musical entertainment in the lobby, even a piano player.

The view on the north side facing Haifa Port and the location right above the Baha'i Gardens make the hotel's location exceptional.

The service at the hotel, from the reception staff (Adel, Adi, Shaili) through the service in the dining room (Amir) through the evening duty manager (Lior), everyone is charming!!! The food is delicious and plentiful, every day and throughout the day interesting and varied menus. Large room, huge bed! Gorgeous view, Varied entertainment programs. A very high standard hotel. Exceptional service from all staff. Excellent quality meals, varied and plentiful. Comfortable and luxurious rooms. Location with a spectacular view of Haifa Bay, right above the Baha'i Garden. Easy access to transportation and city attractions. Highly recommended. Parking at the hotel is limited in availability and is also paid. There is a free parking lot about 200 meters...

Amazing place. Great food. Well recommended. We stayed in a sea view room and had both bath and stand alone shower. As well we had a self operated TV in the bathroom, something that we never came across before. one of the best hotels I have personally stayed in Israel, worth a visit!

I arrived with friend, Sept. 6-7, 2024. Shared single beds, (bed was for a child (I’m 5ft 11 inches) though hotel said it was adult. Could barely move, While sleeping fell from bed. Room very small for 2 adults. Bathroom, shower big enough for adults. Has parking, but no spaces if late. Bed & breakfast. No restaurant.

The property is charming and cool. The people are friendly. However, I paid extra for breakfast to discover when we got here they don't serve breakfast but give you a voucher to a restaurant nearby (too far in the pouring rain and not kosher). If I need to go out for breakfast I don't expect to be charged extra, I'd rather choose my own venue and pay myself. Additionally at these prices I expect at...

First time for me at this wonderful urban oasis, and I am deeply impressed. The attention to detail is incredible and everything about this place screams high quality and relaxation. The staff is incredible, design is fantastic and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. My favorite new place in town.

Great location, great service by the team. The design is beautiful and modern. The hotel is very clean. We had a great weekend there. We strongly recommend staying at the Schumacher when visiting Haifa. The hotel is located in the German colony which is the best place to be in Haifa

It is a “modern” hotel, working to be hip! The staff are friendly, room is very small for 2 people. The breakfast is very limited and if not there by 8 AM it is gone. Location is good, near restaurants, wine store and pharmacy.

It is located two blocks from the main street in Haifa, it's a new hotel with comfortable beds, two terraces, breakfast, and nice staff. The pictures sometimes show an old hotel but that is just the reception, the hotel is brand new with state-of-the-art technology.
