Where to stay in Cava de' Tirreni

OK HI. Decent room, but noise for outside. Good evening dinner. Normal poor Italian breakfast, though there was an attempt at cooked stuff. Location is OK if you are passing through.

Nice location for exploring Naples, Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius, Salerno, Capri, etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful and all speak English. The room is a bit dated, and in need of an upgrade. The linens, pillows and towels are crisp and clean, but the carpet is old and there is water damage at the base of the windows that is black. The shower enclosure leaks frim the bottom severely...

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this Holiday Inn gem just off the A3 highway near Salerno and just a mile or so from the Amalfi Coast. Clean, comfortable, and outstanding customer service, we were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our stay. And the breakfast and small restaurant and bar located on the ground level were wonderful as well.

A standard holiday inn. The service was excellent but the rooms could do with some refurbishment. 20 mins Easy access to Salerno with a car via the Autostrada.

Beautiful hotel in Vietri with a 20 min walk along busy road to town. Staff here are very helpful and made the stay wonderful. The train station is just up the steps from cafe fame and is cheap and cool. The sister Hotel up the hill has a lovely spa and restaurant

Love love love.... if you can manage to stay in this beautiful location this is definitely the hotel to do so. Great food, great service, amazing view from every room and an awesome pool. We would 100% stay here again.

Great experience at the hotel! Breakfast, Lunch and dinner were tasty along with an exceptional staff. In addition, the taxi services to and from the hotel were very timely. Highly reccommended to anyone traveling to Amalfi Coast.

Great accommodations, beautiful balcony with ocean view. The pool was very clean and a little chilly but it did feel good on the hot relaxing days. It would have been nice if they had some preset tours for the guests but the staff was very helpful in finding things to do and getting transportation. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Although might seem simple, it's an astonishing place. An amazing welcoming service and super clean. The hotel is in a prime location but still very quiet and privet. The hotel also have a very convenient parking just under which allows you to be calm about the safety of the rental car if you have one.

The stuff were absolutely amazing! They were very nice and helped us a lot, specially in the front desk - Miss Noemi, she helped us all time with a nice big smile and kindness, she is an angel . The breakfast was very good, the rooms also. The location is perfect.

Beautiful area. Perfect place for vacations in Salerno, especially if you want to have the sea and the mountains and the woods all together. Lovely place, the only minus we can give is that it for sure already has some years on its back even though everything was really nice and clean. The breakfast was ok and dealt with very well during the COVID circumstances. The pool for sure is a plus including a very friendly and helpful life guard. It's so beautiful! Since this area is very hilly, many people drive and there's a bus that stops about 5 minutes down the hill but if you want to remain in the area (which we did) then it is also still a walkable area with some nearby restaurants. Just be careful of passing vehicles and animals on the way and wear insect repellent spray. If I could stay forever I would have. And they even serve nice...

We had a wonderful stay at the Ambrosea Amalfi Coast with our toddler. Carmen and her mom were so kind to our son, even made him pancakes every day and spoiling him with lots of attention. I loved everything about staying at Ambrosea. I stayed in Afrodite room and it was huge, with the most gorgeous view. It was clean and modern and well-equipped. It is the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed at, and I have travelled a lot! The breakfast is delicious, and Carmen and her mother are so friendly and helpful. I cannot fault it in any way. Do not hesitate to stay here.

Absolutely amazing. Everywhere in Vietri was booked and after being double booked by another place, the owner was kind enough to answer our phone call at 11 PM and give us a place to stay late notice. Breakfast was more than we expected - I was full and happy! True Italian experience. View of cava was AMAZING! So very lucky we found such a nice host and beautiful view.

Great welcome. The owner was super nice, very friendly and made us feel at home. He also recommended a good pizzeria nearby and for a fee we were able to use an umbrella and sun loungers at a beach in Vietri. The room was nice, big and clean. Breathtaking panorama. To return absolutely!

Beautiful experience, beautiful and well kept place. Mix style between modern and shabby. The owner is very kind and helpful. Excellent cleaning and good breakfast. Located 1km from the sea but well equipped with a shuttle that runs often and at a cost of € 1. The internal parking is also a great convenience, since parking on the coast is a big problem.

An impressive place to stay. You can park inside the locked gate, where there is a huge terrace overlooking the mountains with great view. I stayed with my wife at casa mena, it was a unique experience, a well-kept apartment complete with all comforts a stone's throw from Corso di Vietri sul mare, an enchanting position with a balcony overlooking the sea. Mr. Dino is a very courteous and helpful person. I highly recommend it.
