Holiday Inn Salerno-Cava De' Tirreni, an IHG Hotel

If you value air conditioning avoid this place at all cost. The lowest they let you set the AC in your room to is 25 degrees. Which in itself is completely useless. In order to set it lower you actually have to call the front desk and ask for it (how petty is that). What’s even worse is once they do it on their computer it seems to shut itself off after 6-8 hours so you have to call AGAIN to have it turned back on. So here I am calling the front desk 2-3 times a day (and yes waking up sweating in the middle of the night sometimes) to get some air. How stingy can you get? Is this a pawn shop or a massive hotel brand? It’s a shame because other than that I would have given a 5 star review everything else was perfectly fine.. 5 BnB’s and 3 Hotels on our 3.5 week trip throughout Europe and ALL of them let you control the EXACT temperature of your room. Sad.
