Just spent 2 glorious days here at the hotel. Exceptional service, the staff is absolutely wonderful. The room was beautiful and clean. The views are magnificent. I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel manager is Ciro and he is a consummate professional and goes above and beyond to make sure guests are happy.

Spent three nights at the hotel - 2 adults and teenager. Really great hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Good facilities if you want to just stay in the hotel. Maiori is a lovely town with a good place to explore the rest of the Amalfai coast.
I would recommend this hotel.

Omg. What a horrible experience.

Elevator and the funicular were both broken. 282 steps uphill to reach the hotel.

The rooms were dirty. We had ants in our room- like hundreds of ants. They came 3 different times to spray and clean the ant mess. The cleaning crew never cleaned our room!! Always left the trash and dirty dishes.

Food was not good.

Management was very nice…, the bar staff were horrible.

I would give this hotel a zero if I could. Total waste of money. Huge disappointment. I contacted my travel agent a few times during this trip. Told her to never recommend this hotel.

What was interesting… locals in the community all said to us… oh don’t stay there. The botanico is not nice.

Rusty. Dirty. Disappointing.

+ Amazing view. You will need to be able to climb a few steps after getting off the lift as the hotel is on a mountain, but it is absolutely worth it. The place is clean and beautiful. The service was excellent! I will definitely be booking again!

View was beautiful. But the hotel has a serious ant problem. Ants everywhere…all over the floor, in the bath, crawling up the walls. Worst part were the ants in the bed. My suitcase is probably 10 pounds heavier with all the ants that crawled in there. Horrible experience.

This place and their owners and staff salvaged our Amalfi Coast vacation! We were able to leave a horrible, cheap hotel "highly recommended" by our travel agent and book a beautiful suite at Botanico at the very last minute, not even an hour after we arrived at Maiori. This hotel is beautiful with breathtaking views! You definitely feel like you're in beautiful Italy on the beautiful Amalfi Coast. All the staff members were so kind and helpful. It is important to note that not all rooms/suites are the same, and it is absolutely worthwhile to pay extra for a gorgeous, spacious, and romantic suite with the most amazing views from Maiori. We enjoyed our stay here, and whenever we go back to Maiori, this is the only place I'll stay in. It's grounds are so pretty as well... it's like you're in an enchanted garden. Breathtaking in every way! I don't have many pictures of the hotel on this phone, but I'll post a couple.

Loved: the location, the beach club, the views.
Hated: the check out experience - being charged for something we didn't consume (the drinks are crazy overpriced in this hotel) and still having to pay for it, even after asking them to check the mini bar or show where we signed for such consumption.

The view is absolutely breathtaking. That is the only good thing about the restaurant at this hotel. Took 2hrs between courses and the pasta that was so crunchy, I consider it inedible. While we waited, no one asked us if we wanted another drink. Once prompted for the mains, the waitress said 5 minutes, then 20 minutes later another wait person said 2 minutes. Took so long my daughter fell asleep at the table.
Go for a drink and a look at the view, but don't waste your time for dinner. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

It is crazy hard to find the entrance to this hotel. You guys have a great reputation. But please spend extra bucks for a sign or bunner on the street corner to help your guests find an elevator.
Currently there is no guidance from the street side and we followed the google maps. It was wrong. We absolutelly messed up and had to run up stairs to 5th floor on high hills to get to the event.

Paid €5 per person to see their cactus garden and they gave us the €5 back as a credit for drinks at their outdoor sea view bar. Great service.
