Definitely not a 4 Star hotel. Rooms are tiny when there is 3 adults. Reception staff not welcoming or helpful we were stuck in a broken down train for 8 hours meaning we did t arrive till 10pm asked for a cup of tea and was told $6Euro only coffee in room pictures are awesome but don’t be fooled.

I don’t know where to begin! This is the perfect accomadation! From helpful and courteous check in staff, especially Daniella! to the location to the look of their newly remodeled rooms everything was simply perfect. The housekeeping staff goes the extra mile!
They provide upgrades without having to ask them subject to availability, our room was provided to us very early, the amenities in room include bath robe and slippers. It’s a true 5 star experience.
The location itself is so prime the ferry’s are a few steps away and it’s around the corner from como lago station. The bus stops are also right in front of the hotel.
The breakfast was included in our stay and was simply beautiful and scrumptious’. With a self serve option for mimosas couldn’t have asked for more! The staff at the breakfast area was so nice and helpful!

Nice location on the lake. Unfortunately our room's two windows faced the wall of the building next door and the parking area of the apartments behind. There apparently was no air conditioning but the weather was nice. Breakfast was served in a very nice room. The staff were all very courteous and helpful.

A really nice hotel. Beautiful breakfast and meals in lovely restaurant. Clean and comfortable room. Air conditioning that works. Flawless service. Ideal location with immediate access to Como, ferries and the Funicular. 12 out of 10. Thanks for having us stay.

If you’re staying directly in Como, this hotel is absolutely perfect. It’s near both trains, busses, and ferry. The hotel with lake view is stunning. The outside of it is stunning, and has a beautiful bar/garden restaurant. Gym has basic essentials. Location and price of this hotel is the best choice for Como itself. You’ll see!

It’s a pretty and big hotel but pricey.
The lake view rooms are wonderful but often not available. The whole interior is based on the name the palace and gives you a great atmospheric feel.
Everyone who was working as the service staff at the restaurant, breakfast buffet and cleaning staff for our rooms was very polite and friendly! The young lady at the hotel entrance gave us a lovely greeting and smooth check in.
Unfortunately our room was a little small, not a big enough view of the lake and the wall had a weird look of electricity sticker. The older lady by the check out at the reception desk was also very disappointing. She didn’t even wished us a good journey back. The attitude and arrogance of her ruined the good impression of our experience.
We were actually very upset and saddened with her.
She didn’t even ask us if we liked the stay.
For the future we will book another hotel because we liked como and the lake a lot, the hotel was near the ferry station and city so everything wasn’t too far away.
We can recommend the better alternative to the palace, Hilton offers a great view of the lake if you use the terrazza restaurant, has a great spa and pool and is very nice to their guests.
The Mandarin oriental is also a great place but a little more expensive than the palace hotel.
We are thankful for the good service team except for the older lady at the reception desk and wish the hotel all the best and better change for the future!

Very disappointed!
Despite the location being brilliant, the hotel does not live up to a 3 star even. The elevator is so small and old. 4 people would barely fit. We had asked the concierge to book a boat and a restaurant for us, more than a week before our arrival, so imagine our disappointment when we realised that despite their approval, they have not done so. We had to book the boat at a higher price last minute. We had to leave after a night because we were unhappy. The manager was a kind lady who did not charge us a penalty nor for the consumed pringles from the minibar. Overall, i wish they do a better job with the refurbishment considering that the location is amazing.

I attended a business function at one of their exquisite restaurant venues. The service was commendable, especially considering the large group, and the menu offered was highly elaborate, both tasteful and delicious. This property is very convenient, with ample meeting rooms for group events, and easily accessible via transportation as it is located near the port, train, and bus stations, right in the heart of the old town.

Nice garden to enjoy a drink or a coffee, as well. While the building maintains a traditional charm, the interior has been tastefully decorated, providing spacious rooms and common areas. It should definitely be considered for a MICE program in Como.

Absolutely awful hotel. Reception has veryyyyyy bad attitude you don't feel welcome at all. They literally ruined my experience in Como.
Smell bad, service is really bad. It's like a 2 star hotel. They don't have iron in the room. One inde hallway downstairs!!!! We ask for water in the room, they said the bar is close and they have some machine in the lobby and we can get water from there if we want to.
They also drop my luggages down from the stairs and broke my luggage. But no one is responsible for that. I paid $2k for that luggage now the wheel is broken in the middle of my trip.

Beautiful hotel located on the edge of Lake Como. The rooms are spacious and with a very nice view. Bathroom was huge and well equipped. I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast and lunch that were very tasty and offered variety of Italian specialities.
