Hilton Lake Hotel

One of my favorite hotels in the world!

Let me elaborate, I found this property in 2023 and I try to visit every year ever since.

The service is absolutely fantastic, the aesthetic of the hotel is top tier, it’s close to everything, and the views from the rooms are gorgeous.

I’ve celebrated a couple of special occasions here and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The team always goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. Shoutout to Gianna in the restaurant! She checked us in for breakfast every morning and was a pleasure speaking to her.

The spa is also great, it looks amazing but be sure to book when it’s not peak hours because it can get a little crowded. The gym is extremely well equipped and satisfied all my fitness needs.

Finally, the breakfast. It had everything you could ask for and more, I always started my day happily thanks to this breakfast.

A Truly Luxurious Stay in Lake Como!
If you're looking for a beautiful, luxurious, and comfortable hotel in Lake Como, Hilton Lake Como is absolutely the place to go. In my opinion, it has one of the best locations—especially when enjoyed from the stunning rooftop infinity pool, bar, and restaurant. The views of the lake and surrounding mountains are simply breathtaking.
The rooms are modern, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. But what truly stood out was the incredible food. From the unlimited breakfast buffet—which was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—to the exceptional dining experience at the hotel’s restaurants, everything was top-notch. The rooftop dining in particular was unforgettable—the views, the ambiance, and the flavors were all magnificent.
Highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Lake Como. It exceeded all expectations!

There the stairs was OK, but the things about the room service is really bad because we ordered food after midnight and they bring it. It’s already made and it’s dry and really bad. The chicken was too much hard and it’s just a club sandwich. But overall the place and everything in the Cleaning and they are friendly nice people, but the first guy who has welcome us. I think he is too much rude. 

Overall Hilton Lake Como is wonderful. The service is very nice. Breakfast is more than ample. The rooms are well laid out, but don’t expect a view of the water unless you book a specific lake view room. You can still enjoy the spectacular view from the roof, but room lake view rooms are their own class and they only offer a 1 level Gold Status Upgrade unlike other Hilton and Hilton family hotels.

One downside is that they are not directly on the water. You can walk there very quickly, but it doesn’t feel slightly removed from the “Lake” Como feel at other Hotels right on, across a walking street or with direct access to the water. Instead there is a pretty large complex between you and the water.

Location is great for getting around the whole Lake by car or you can take a bike for a day and explore.

One note about the rooms. We stayed the first night in a Standard King Room (view of the trash collection area) the rest of our stay we were upgraded to a Kind Premium Garden View… the room was smaller. If you look at the floor maps you can see some rooms have a weird space cut into them. We specially asked for a room that didn’t have that cut, but that’s what we ended up with. Not the end of the world, but for Status we would hope for the bigger option on the same room type.

I would argue that this is one of the best hotels on the lake. We stayed in a suite facing the lake and I was pleasantly shocked. While I understand that people may want to stay at a less modern place when visiting such a historic place, it’s nice to have a modern touch then be able to venture out to the lake or town. Everything is clean, everyone is nice, and the spa + pool is incredible. I truly believe this deserves an extra star. Great value for the area.

One of the best Hilton hotels I have visited. Hilton Lake Como is cosy and inviting; the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are luxurious - props to housekeeping for the excellent room service. Staff were welcoming and open to questions. The rooftop pool and jacuzzi were the stars of the show, absolutely breathtaking views that cannot be beaten. Breakfast was an incredible spread - all items were fresh, delicious and of excellent quality (my favourite was the pistachio croissant). The outside of the hotel is rather unassuming but you are met with a luxury, spacious interior. Incredible hotel.
