The best hotel on our honeymoon!! First the place is gorgeous, the bed was very comfortable and the pillows were also great.

The location is ideal. The restaurant is very nice and breakfast was superb. Their menu for lunch and dinner is rather diverse and fairly priced.

The staff was very nice and overly accommodating. They refreshed the room rather early while we were eating breakfast. Then later in the day stopped by to ask if we needed our mini bar re stocked.
Then another person came by a few hours later asking if we needed new towels.

I would definitely stay here again.

The best location and transport links with 2 train stations nearby, can visit other parts of Italy and Switzerland. The ferry to go to the other islands around Lake Como is opposite the hotel. Breakfast was nice with some halal items but can be repetitive after a while. Staff at reception and breakfast were very welcoming when it came to asking questions. Rooms are very clean but slightly small.

Albergo Terminus is a beautiful and intimate hotel located in a historic palace by the shores of Lake Como. The interiors are absolutely stunning, offering a unique sense of stepping back in time. Everything in the hotel has been restored with incredible craftsmanship, creating an atmosphere of elegance and charm.

The parking situation was well-organized, which was a relief since we arrived in our rented car from Milan. The hotel provides a reserved underground parking area hidden beneath a large terrace in front of the building—extremely convenient and stress-free.

The location is idyllic, right on the lakefront and at the entrance to Como’s Old Town. The combination of scenic views and easy access to the historic center is hard to beat. Breakfast was a highlight—delicious, with a choice to dine on the covered veranda or the outdoor terrace. The service throughout our stay was impeccable, with full table service and twice-daily housekeeping.

Although the rooms are small, around a dozen square meters, we never felt cramped. The attention to detail in the antique furniture and the overall cleanliness of the room made the space feel cozy and luxurious. However, my only critique would be the bathroom—it could use a more thorough renovation, as it didn’t match the high standard of the rest of the property.

The shared spaces, adorned with antique furnishings, were a real standout and added to the feeling of being transported to another era. It’s a perfect setting for couples looking for a romantic getaway.

Overall, I highly recommend Albergo Terminus. Despite a minor issue with the bathroom, the hotel exceeded our expectations in every other way. It’s a charming gem on Lake Como that offers a truly memorable experience.

Great location near many good restaurants and the ferry docks. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and some sweets. The bathroom was huge compared to other bathrooms we experienced during our tour of Northern Italy. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location right on lakefront and next to train station. Staff all English speaking. Lovely breakfast. Some rooms require climbing stairs.

This was a great location in Como. Our room was clean, the AC worked well, and the breakfast was very delicious. Only complaint - the drinks at the hotel bar are incredibly overpriced. Just be aware that this is a popular hotel stop for cruises if you're traveling on your own.

I stayed at this hotel at the end of my european trip and was quite disappointed at their service. Had a bad impression from the beginning and it carried on. They have some pretty old system at handling things and it shows. I had to carry my own luggage up (There are plenty of stairs even on the same level) with no help. Upon arrival to the room some items were not working: for example the phone ! You can’t really phone down the concierge for anything. On the last day there was no warm water. Most staff working at the hotel are pleasant but I guess the management does not really care about customers. They even write down your credit card number on paper: that’s how old the system is. The room was big and spacious but I struggled with electricity outlets to charge my electronics. They are not visible anywhere and mostly behind furniture.. the washroom was not updated and most sinks / faucets are quite old.
The breakfast area and terrace are pretty nice to hang out on warm evenings..
overall not really 4 star quality. There are better hotels in the area with same price point.. the location is excellent but como is a small town so you’ll find better luxury hotels nearby ..

The hotel itself was beautiful. The staff where very welcoming and the breakfast had a good spread. The location was stunning! How can you go wrong with Lake Como, been on my wife's bucket list for years. So the bad, No USB for charging in the rooms. No plugs in the room, the only one I found was behind the front door, not a great place to charge your phone. The TV was tiny 27" with no smart services like Netflix or any English options, it's 2024. The rooms were a little dated and worn.
