Genius Hotel Downtown in Milan

I had a wonderful stay at Genius Hotel Milan, Italy. The room was very nice & clean & the bed was quite comfortable. The hotel is located in the heart of Milan within a few blocks of Duomo di Milano so, it’s perfect for tourists. There is luxury shopping & plenty of wonderful restaurants & cafes in the area. I gave 4 out of 5 stars for the room due to the small size, but that seems to be the norm in Europe. I’d definitely recommend Genius Hotel to solo travelers or couples who are looking for a quaint, affordable hotel in Milan.

Very happy with this hotel overall. Great location, right in the centre of Milano and near the metro, various tourist attractions etc.

Service was very good. Both gents we met at the front desk were very friendly. One was very helpful in giving us tips on getting to the San Siro. Lady I met at the desk one morning was also very friendly, as were the house keeping staff I met.

Room was spacious, beds comfortable, good showers, and all spotlessly clean. Water fountain at the front desk is also appreciated, just what you need after returning from a day out!

I thought it a little pricey but given the above comments it was probably worth it. We also booked on relatively short notice so that likely explains the pricing as well.

Will happily stay again next time I visit Milano.

This spot was a great location, both for our planned activities and to the train station. The room was plenty big enough for two people, and clean. Breakfast was good, with protein options. I'd stay again if I was in Milan.

The hotel is a very good three-star option.
We had a relatively spacious room, and both the toilet and shower were spotlessly clean.
The bed was quite comfortable, especially for a three-star hotel.

We encountered a minor issue during our stay, and the staff responded promptly and did their best to resolve it. Although the issue couldn’t be fully fixed, they were sincerely apologetic and made every effort to make up for it.

The hotel’s location is excellent. The only downside is the lack of a large grocery store nearby.

Overall, we were really happy with our stay and definitely plan to return.

The location is probably the best that you will get in Milano. It is close to everything: the Cadorna train station is just a 10 minute walk, same for Duomo, Castello Sforzesco, Basilica di Santa Maria delle Grazie. The room is very small but it is ok. However, there is no fridge, the wifi does not connect on the 4th floor (it works perfectly everywhere else for some reason), the safe (although exists) is not fixed and can be easily taken away. The bathroom is really tiny, and it may be uncomfortable to stand in the shower.

Very nice hotel located very close to metro station and market. Had a short stay for business and was very satisfied. Very nice breakfast as well.

The hotel location is on the spot every thing is close 4 minutes walk to Main Street there Duomo there’s access for transport, the staff is friendly very clean & also quite but the room is a bit small it’s for Adults , the bed wasn’t very comfortable will be good if you want to explore the city 🌆

The location of hotel is perfect. It is located at Cairoli metro station. Easy to access either from Malpenza airport or Linate airport. after Cairoli station (exit via Dante) just 3 minutes walking to the hotel. its a quiet road, but its quite safe . walking distance to Duomo, shopping street is just around the corner. good value of money. Room is quite spacious, clean, Bed is quite comfortable. Staffs -Cristian and Claudio who help us very friendly and patients to answer our questions and requests. If I ever come to Milan again, I think I will choose to stay here again. highly recommend

I will say that our stay here overall was very good. The rooms have been recently renovated with a very nice TV and interesting wall mounted "fridge" for cooling a few items (water, wine, etc). The bathroom is also well-equipped, but shower may seem small for some. The beds and pillows were comfortable and window with an electronic shade. The only real downside would be soundproofing. Cars and people walking by or on the main street woke me a few times - and I am a sound sleeper. The breakfast was very good - don't miss the by order for omelet or specialty coffee drinks like cappuccino. There are a lot of choices but a modest size. There are a lot of main attractions within walking distance and a lot of great restaurant choices as well. The staff is very friendly - a true standout of the stay. Thanks.
