Capodichino International Hotel

Not at all a 4 star hotel. Perhaps one star. Room was clean though but very basic and small. They fitted a bed next to a table and squeezed a chair in between. A small closet on the other side and the room was pretty much filled. Bathroom is basic but ok and functional.

The airco was adequate but you could not sleep well as the bright lights from the parking lot would illuminate you and your room. Curtains were too small to cover lights. Hardly any sound proofing so lots of traffic noise and barking dogs. Also I could clearly understand my neighbor guest while he was on the phone while he was talking at a normal volume. Later I could, in all the little sound details, hear a couple having sex in the room above me, as I was sitting next to them. If that is something you like then this hotel is for you ;) I was lucky to have a noise cancelling headset

Perhaps maaaaaybe go here if you have an early departure AND if it is only one night AND if you get a good price as my nightly rate of 120€ was ridiculous for what they offer.

15 mins walk from the airport rolling suitcases and negotiating the road works barriers temporary walk ways and finding the hidden back entrance to this scruffy rather grim dive. Restaurant closed looked like it had never been opened no idea if there was breakfast offered anywhere couldn't get back to airport quick enough in the morning for cup of coffee. The grim reception advised with sullen face no restaurant nearby so back to the airport for surprisingly tasty supper at fratelli la buffala still serving at 9.30 pm. The room was a small very noisy sleeping box access via a grim gloomy grubby external walkway AC blowing warm air all night so presumably chillers switched off goodness knows how hot it would be in midsummer. Sound muffler blinds on the windows don't quite deal with the traffic noise and rumble from 6 am. Having said all that the room itself was very clean and well ironed fresh linen - no blankets on the bed which is clue to how warm it would be. 2 star is generous but if all you want is a bed for the night and can put up with everything else this is OK

Worst hotel, even if you arrive after your checkin time they give you an uncleaned room. Instead they lie that the checkin time is different. Never go to the hotel. It’s not worth it.
