We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in October this year. Absolutely gorgeous views of the Amalfi coast from the property. The breakfast and dining room has a balcony with spectacular views of the sea. We stayed in a deluxe suite with its own terrace with a gorgeous sea view - same view from the bedroom window. Nice courteous staff, decent breakfast with delicious hot beverages served to your table. We also had dinner at the hotel for 2 nights - we are vegetarians so asked for their veg lasagna - very delicious, one of the best we have had. Only areas of improvement are 1) better mosquito and insect management - so guests can enjoy the views from their room terraces and balconies.and 2) do not provide shampoos and body washes in pouches - it actually brings down your otherwise 3.5 or 4 star facility down a notch - provide these in bottles so your guests can properly use these amenities

We stayed here for the beginning part of our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The staff exceeded all of our expectations and were nothing but courteous and polite. The views from our balcony were superior and the espresso was fantastic. We would recommend this hotel if you are staying in the ravello area. Easy walk to the center square and everything you want to see!

Booked and paid for this hotel back in December of 2023 for Aug 2024. Received a confirmation voucher on August 1st confirming our stay. We arrived after a long day of travel to be told our reservation was “cancelled and there was no record of payment” due to a glitch in their system and that they did not have our reservation. We showed them our voucher and our credit card statement and essentially we were told there is nothing they could do. They had only 1 room available in a lesser category and we would have to pay again and dispute the original charge with our credit card company. Initially we accepted the room, however upon arrival we decided not to stay. The room was small, the only window opened directly to the pool which was noisy and lacked privacy. The room was also dirty, there was dried blood in the bathroom. That was the final straw. We immediately left and luckily booked a a better hotel in Ravello. Another person in our group also had their reservation cancelled several days prior to their arrival and when the hotel called they said “we just prefer you book through us instead of a 3rd party booking site”
This hotel is an uphill hike to the town square where all the action is. They say they have a shuttle, however you have to reserve it and if it’s full you are out of luck.

One of my favorite hotels Ive ever stayed at. Gorgeous views, very friendly staff, great breakfast buffet. The pool was really fun and relaxing and has awesome and affordable food and drinks you can order to your chairs. The hotel is also walkable to the town center but they also offer a free ride if you want. I will be recommending the hotel highly to any friends or family traveling to Ravello. The hotel can also book a nice car to take you back to the airport if this is the last stop on your trip.

My husband and I could not recommend Villa Piedimonte enough! We stayed here for the first 3 nights of our honeymoon and it was an absolute dream. The rooms were spacious, very clean, comfortable beds, and had incredible views. The staff were all so friendly helping us coordinate rides from the airport, to our next location, and even to dinner one night. They upgraded our room and were always nice when we passed through for breakfast. The views at the pool were breathtaking. It also was mostly couples making it feel very romantic and chairs were mostly sectioned off in 2s. We spent 2 days by the pool because it was so relaxing and beautiful. The food for lunch was also SO GOOD. It was very reasonably priced for the lunch items and the best sandwich we had while in Italy. Great all around!

- Although the staff was pleasant and very friendly the only issue I had was that the receptionist gave me a room I did not originally book. When asked about it, she told me “all rooms look different” and that because they’ve been really busy with the season I could not get the the room I wanted. However, when I checked in, they didn’t seem busy and there weren’t too many guests staying there. Also, if I booked a specific room, it would be a nice as a courtesy to notify the guest that the room I booked is not available. Only then were they able to switch me to a different room when this was brought up. Attached are photos of the first room I got which did not give me a sea view (if not very little or partial view), and the 3rd photo is the room they finally switched me to - which is what I booked (sea view). Because of this, I was met with a lot of disappointment and felt they were dishonest. Not sure because if it was a solo traveler and not with a spouse but other guests but that should not be prioritized over others and instead be given the room they did originally booked or at least notify them of it. Internet was also very slow. I think if the property invested in fixing the connection issues, this could very well be a 5star hotel. I also spent the nights flipping through channels I was able to connect to (and was also in English); the only channel I found was about dinosaurs and spent that night learning about Tyrannosaurus Rex so that was interesting 🦖

Great hotel overall but 1 star deducted due to issues that I sincerely hope will not recur. The room I got was beautiful and spacious but had a leaky bathtub.
Kudos for the self check in idea but the app definitely needs some work.. It could not unlock my room (but worked for other general access) and I had to request a key card at the end.

Our stay was really fantastic. The staff was really extremely friendly and eager (enrique at the front desk was great). Very clean (pay a lot of attention to hygiene) and exceptionally good breakfast. The view is breathtaking. We would definitely come back again.

There are many nice hotels and B&B in Ravello. The big plus for this place was that we can reach it by car and there is safe parking on the property.
If you travel with your own car it is a good choice. Great view too.
The room service was excellent and the prices very fair. If you stay there don’t hesitate to call 200 and order drinks or coffee at any time.

Pros: breathtaking views and a shuttle up to Ravello (but only runs certain times) Nice pool. Cons: Tedious check-in process and the hotel cuts many corners for a 4-star hotel (for example, canned fruits for breakfast, barely functional hair dryer, low-quality toiletries in the room. Not the friendliest staff. Will probably not return....not worth the cost.
