Palace Hotel Due Ponti in Siena

Nice place to stay. Fairly close to the medieval area. No need to worry about any ZTL issue.

If you stay for only a few days this hotel is acceptable. They were under renovation inside when we were there (2025), I think we got one of the renovated rooms, it was pretty new. We loved that the 3rd bed for the child was also a full bed. The mattress on the bed was perfect, we woke up fully rested every single morning. The bath was new as well, the toilet has a bottom shower (you can chenge the temperature of the water) which was cool but there's no enough space next to the sink to put your cleaning stuffs, there was nothing to hold toilet paper. We were in April so it needed to be heated. They heated the room for the first two of our stay of five days but didn't for the rest. They provided us a heating machine BTW. If your room faces the front, the traffic can be a bit noisy, if the back side, the view was a big container with full of trash. The breakfast was the same every morning which is okay for a couple of days but becomes boring after a few more. The toast maker didn't worked well, only one heating wire worked of the three so we had to turn the breads to make a good toast. The selection wasn't too much. The staff was very kind and helpful, everyone of them. The parking lot was very small but you can park also on the other side of the street.

The location is very convenient, and the staff are nice, welcoming, and informative. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations. I would recommend it, as it is budget-friendly for a stay in Siena.

we stayed here for a week with a group of 36 people! Highly recommended, the hotel rooms had just been renovated, beautiful.
Point of attention is perhaps more clothes hangers, and 2 chairs to place in the rooms, there was only 1 now. But clean towels every day, and everything was neatly cleaned and made up every day, a big compliment!
The staff was just as friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was more than enough, everything was ready and if it was no longer there, it was replenished.
The dinner was excellent, in many hotels in Italy now known but not yet as good as here.
The only downside was the distance stated on the site to the gates of Siena, which is a bit further than one would expect. But with the bus S5, which stops opposite the hotel, it was easy to do and you were at the gates of Siena in no time.

Great hotel!!! The rooms are modern and comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are kept clean by the excellent staff there. It’s located right next to a bus stop so you can easily head into town and it only takes about ten minutes.

Chef Antonio makes amazing food in the restaurant, and we were so lucky to have meals prepared by him! Max provides exceptional service in the restaurant, and we appreciate both his professionalism and hospitality. We also want to thank Giusy, Arianna and Michelle for their excellent service at the front desk. We travelled with a large group and they were very accommodating and made sure our stay was pleasant and ran smoothly.

We enjoyed our over night stay, Samual checked us in he was amazing answering all our queries fine young man, breakfast which was included was delicious overall very happy.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at. The spaces are spotless, the rooms also very clean and tidy. The staff very helpful, smiling and always willing to help us with whatever we needed. The breakfast very good. Everything is perfect !!! We will definitely stay again in the future.
