Dedo Boutique Hotel

The location is excellent. its right down the street from beautiful Arno river.
The service is also very good. The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast had many good options, even for a vegetarian travelling Europe.

Room is compact, but washroom is spacious and comfortable. Room and the washroom has all that is required.
We found the stay very pleasant and comfortable.

Room: good !clean and modern
Service: great! except old man ( he was afternoon shift, we say Hi but he didn’t see us and answer )
Location: good! Was very quiet area.
Breakfast: not bad, but the place was small.

The staff here is phenomenal! They do great service with a smile.
Rooms are clean and neat in an up to date atmosphere.
You can hear your neighbors. TV was difficult to get subtitles. Shower was great pressure.
Stairs can be difficult even for a few steps taking your suitcase to the small elevator.
But I liked the location and the charm and quaintness of Dedo.
I would stay here again just because the staff makes it so welcoming. Like you are visiting their home. I never felt treated like a number.

Have to rate a 4/5 as whilst the staff were lovely and location was great, there were a few things about the room which were very frustrating.

The hotel itself is in a very old building with a very susceptive lift (barely fits in two females) so the option is to go up three floors of stairs (hard with luggage). Bit hard to find but all ok. Hotel staff and reception were lovely with a great intro to the room.

The room itself was nice but very hot. And the walls were thin so we could hear everyone in their rooms! We couldn’t figure out the air con (and no instructions) and the window/door that opened let in a very bad smell! The plug sockets in the room were useless (we were room 8) and only one worked. Now we are from the UK so were using plug adapters, but nevertheless only meant we could charge one thing at once. The bed and shower were great.

Amazing location, in a relatively safe area I think and felt safe at night. Only 15 mins walk from the duomo.

The hotel was a bit difficult to find due to it being on the 3rd floor of the building. It was very quiet at night. It is about a 15 minute walk to the city center. It's also in walking distance from the Santa Maria Novella train station and easy to get to from the airport too. They had a good variety of food items at the breakfast buffet. The room was a decent size, the bathroom was spacious, and they had good blackout blinds. I liked that they place many bath towels in the bathroom and changed them almost daily.

Dedo Botique hotel , is a different experience for hotels , its very cozy hotel with a very good rooms , I liked the cozy feeling from the first look you will enjoy your room with the king size bed and the Juliet balcony , also the breakfast was perfect and very delicious , the Cook was very friendly she made me a special cake because i told her i loved the cake she did on breakfast.
Regarding Cleanness the hotel is very very clean and neat.
The hotel location is perfect i enjoyed the walk to the hotel beside it there is a supermarket and vegetable and fruits store. its only 5 to 10 mns walk from the train station.
For me if i can compare money vs quality this hotel is perfect you will enjoy your stay moreover the helpful reception guys.
