Such a great vibe at this beautiful boutique hotel. So clean ,food was very good,the staff were all so kind and great to deal with.. Really enjoyed the decor and the gift shop so much, would love to come back to this place sooner than later

One of the worst hotel stays ever — avoid at all costs! My wife and I stayed at The Liwan Hotel for one night before traveling back to our country. We booked this hotel to get some rest, but instead we had a nightmare experience. We were given room 114, which had an indoor A/C unit that made an unbelievably loud, disturbing noise all night — even when it was turned off! When I called reception, they immediately knew the problem and the room number, and at checkout they admitted they knew about this issue before giving us the room. Total disregard for guests. At 3 AM, we were forced to change rooms just to try to get a few hours of sleep. But the worst part came in the morning when a complete stranger opened our door and walked into our room at 7:30 AM. No security, no privacy, no proper management. I paid 50 J.D. for zero rest, stress, and the shock of having a stranger enter our room while we were sleeping. This hotel clearly does not care about guests’ comfort or safety.

Lovely experience at the Liwan. The renovations are beautiful and the room was airy and fresh. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely with a live station for eggs and a big spread of traditional and continental breakfast options. In room dining was also quite nice even though some menu items were not available. Access to the shopping district is great and walkable, and granted it can get a little noisy during the day it was peaceful at night. All of the staff were accommodating and helpful and Ms Grace was courteous and attentive to our needs and our time spent at the hotel. It was a very good experience.

We spent three days in this hotel. It was located at very good position. There is possible to enjoy to fantastic night view. Our package included breakfast and dinner. No objection about quality of food, internet and accommodation. Staff are very professional. Our recommendations.

We had a great time doing a business meeting. Everything was great. The coffee break and lunch was so good. The warm, clean and peaceful environment. Welcoming staff, and service was great too. If you want a place to relax and in the same time cloes ti the market abd airport, for sure recommended Aliwan hotel. Not forgot to mention the the management especially Madam Grace, she is cooperative and love what she is doing.

The hotel's location was quite convenient, situated near the 7th Circle area, where you can easily catch buses for your organized trips. The hotel's interior was nice, with an oriental and simple design. The room was spacious and pleasant, and I particularly enjoyed the purple wall—haha. The bathroom was large and well-equipped with everything you need. I also appreciated the complimentary two bottles of mineral water provided daily in the room. All the staff were very nice and kind: the receptionists, Grace, the chef at the restaurant, and the cleaning ladies all welcomed me with warm smiles. I requested a breakfast box very early in the morning due to an early trip, and by 5:00 AM, it was ready without any need to wait. I want to thank everyone, and next time, I hope to stay longer, inshaAllah :)

This hotel is very dirty. carpets are dirty. bath is dirty (we found 2 shampoo bottles of previous guests open still in the bath), sheets are clean but so small that they do not cover the very dirty mattress. Breakfast is very limited. Smoking in the hotel is allowed, even in the rooms. In our room, toiletpaper was missing, coffee cooker was missing. It took two requests to get this solved. Shops and restaurants are close.
