Ok hotel fairly old fashioned. Door key is a chore to open and close, it's like trying to crack a safe lock combination! Great roof top bar and pool is open till really late. Hotel is just a short walk to all the action yet is quiet inside. Breakfast has freshly made omelettes.

Centrally located across from the Royal Palace the hotel is easy to find and a short walk from the Sesowath Harbor and Giant Ibis Bus station. The room we had was kind of strange. On first glance everything looks very stylish but at a second glance, the finishing is a little shabby. The strangeness continues in the elevator where there is no logic at all in the placement of the buttons. All in all minor details but kind of strange. The roof pool is terrific and has a great view of the city, especially at night time. The breakfast served is abundant and diverse.

We got a free upgrade to a balcony room.

I loved everything about this hotel. Lovely jazz music gently playing in the reception area, which I appreciated. My room (701) looked to the front and I couldn't have wanted a better room. Stylish decor, spacious and a very good price. The bar, restaurant and breakfast facilities are just great - all located on the roof, with fabulous views over the city and the river. Special thanks to Y Oudon the assistant front office manager - he was very helpful. Well done to all the staff. I definitely recommend The Frangipani.

stayed here for 3 nights & had an overall good stay. beds comfortable & the location is perfect. right across from the royal palace & a short walk away from the riverwalk. the rooftop bar had a stunning view overlooking the city, palace and mekong river. breakfast was included in the stay & was pretty good. the pool was refreshing & nice to lay by. employees were very helpful & made us feel at home. our one complaint was that the room was not the cleanest, the floor always left our feet really dirty, and the umbrella by the pool almost impailed my mom, and no staff came to help us remove it from the pool.

This is a great classic hotel. There are really only two room on each floor that has the view of palace and rivet. I stayed in 503 and view spectacular. On Cambodia standards the rooms are great, western its a 3 at best. Staff are awesome 100%. Pool is good but few loungers and people camp out all day on them. So shade is a premium. This could easily be a four star with some updates. After two months in Cambodia my 8 day stay at the Frangipani was awesome.

Stayed here for 3 nights with friends (superior room facing Royal palace gardens at level 1). Location is great, very accessible to riverside, lovely views from the rooftop where breakfast is served and where you can take a dip in the pool. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Coffee shop at lobby is nice. Great place to enjoy sunset with a drink. Will definitely stay here again.

We have visit the sky bar and it’s beautiful we would love to come back but the balcony bar is way too low and there is no safety we are afraid for our kids safety so unfortunately we can’t come back if they willing to put some safety net or something to prevent kids to fall off we will definitely be back

At best an average 3* , certainly not a 4*. Rooms are clean but in need of redecorating. Breakfast was dissapointing . Most of the food that was supposed to be hot was cold or warm at best.
Staff were friendly-ish but Senior management tried to ignore your presence.
Not one I will be going back to anytime soon.
