Phnom Penh Hotel

The location is great but the hotel seriously needs renovation. It is super dated and does not match its price tag. Parking can be difficult during office hours.

Horrific!

While we are a very tolerant / exposed / “forgiving” family that loves to tour through Southeast Asia, this hotel stay was just a grave disappointment.

We surely empathise with the local hotel scene being heavily impacted by COVID, and operations are being restricted, but we do not understand why important information is being withheld in the booking portals.

1) room old, smelly, dirty, dead cockroach on the floor, when opening the room first time.

2) aircon loud and rattling, not cooling.

3) breakfast heavily limited (“choice” of one big bowl of either rice or noodles). Dry baguette with jam that has been open and exposed.

4) swimming pool is officially in operation, but water is very milky and floor is dirty (see picture).

Again, we are emphatic towards hotels in the current restrictive circumstances, but this was simply a CHEAT! COVID is not an excuse for that low standard of a declared 4-star hotel.

We are glad to move on 👎👎👎

Horrible quarantine hotel. Rooms smell like sigarets because people smoke inside. Very bad communication and security guards are useless. As pretty as the hotel looks.. I would never want to stay here again.
