Where to stay in Phnom Penh

Formerly called Intercontinental Hotel, but it’s name has been changed when there’s a change of ownership. When COVID-19 hit Cambodia in 2020, it was since used as treatment facility for patients with mild symptoms.

The first 5-star hotel in Cambodia as InterContinental Phnom Penh. The hotel hosted mostly dignitaries, celebraties head of states, Royalty, President, etc. It is rebranded as The Great Duke Phnom Penh.

We stayed here last year when it was still the Intercontinental. It's a large hotel a bit dated with a great swimming pool on the 4th floor. Staff was courteous and food was decent and reasonable priced. The only minor con is the location is not as convenient to stay for independent travelers like us since it's a bit far from all the tourists' spots.

Great ambience. No free Wi-Fi, unless you are overnight guests.

Everything is very new and modern with an efficient use of space. I heard the bakery is good but we opted to have breakfast at the market instead which we thoroughly enjoyed.

The View is located in the middle of BKK1 and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in the proximity. The rooms are as quiet as you would expect in PNH - given there is a building boom in the city. Been living here for 2 years. The service and management team are always good, friendly, and top notch. The walls are not the thick, but I will say you can’t blame it on them, it’s the construction problem. Very comfy place and reasonable price!

Service is very good here and staffs are very nice and responsive. I started living in this building from the the last week of June 2021. I made one year contract of course decided to live here also because of their nice facilities here, both gym and pool are nice! The management of the building closed the gym and pool from the 1st of gym until now. They said it is because of the Ministry's order....

If you're looking for a highly trained concierge for a serviced apartment, this is the place. Always accommodating and polite, the concierge personnel is the reason why I'm okay with their small apartment rooms. Also, their gym, pool, and steam room, of course!

if you want a taste of luxury among the huzzle of the city this is the perfect spot. within walking distance to the palace and the waterfront. sanctuary and oasis.

it was an extremely luxurious hotel for us. the swimming pool, hot pool and gym were out of this world. they even had a steam bath and himalayan salt room. the location was very near all the major attractions and right outside there’s a very yummy spring roll kiosk to satiate our supper cravings. the staff were very accommodating and friendly. i would recommended this hotel for sure

Absolutely loved my stay at Emion Phnom Penh! The free coffee in the room was a delightful surprise, and the complimentary room upgrade was a fantastic gesture. The breakfast buffet was a feast for the senses, with a wide variety of delicious options. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Everything is good. Tuk-tuks can pick you up at the lobby entrance, which is convenient and free from traffic jams; all service staff are very nice. But except for the toothpaste, it is difficult to use, like a lump of flour, this toothpaste really affects the experience.

This is our second time staying at this incredible hotel. We have been treated so well by all the staff especially Sarah Moya the hotel manager and Mr. Kosal Seng the hotel manager for the executive lounge. The room service is the best along with the restaurant staff. The hotel is convenient to all sites in Phnom Penh. The area is very safe and walkable to many areas.

This is standard hotel you can find in Phnom Penh city with reasonable price. The room is clean and hygiene. I love the welcome service. They are so friendly. They also provide buffet breakfast which is include with room charge. There are also swimming pool, sauna, massage, sky bar, and restaurant as well. I would rate 4stars if they have bigger parking space.

Friendly service and reasonably priced hotel in the center of the town

Outstanding location convenient to the main route in Phnompen. There are tour package guides available on front desk for order. Room is spacious and clean with small refrigerator. Small size tv, not many choices of channel by the time of this review. No microwave however, the front street is full of street food stall for your tastebud adventure.

Wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Breakfast very good, and the room is large and comfortable. Slippers, robes, provided. My room has a small kitchen area for extended stays. Location is excellent if you are looking for a quiet area. If you want to walk out the door and have shops all around then this won’t be for you. Get sky high at high sky hotel.aI got higher than Neil Armstrong. So that indicates its a " protected place "& visitors can release the brakes & cut loose .

It's now called High Sky Hotel. Very comfortable rooms in a quiet area with great views. Breakfast is good. Price is very good for the facilities. Some negatives. WiFi is not so reliable and only 144Mbps. Location is away from the main tourist spots in the city and costs about USD5-7 by tuk tuk each way to get there.

I have booked the room at the hotel. The price is little bit high, 40 USD for single room (although they converted the double room into single room). The hotel is not really in good location. It takes around 15-30 mins to go to central area and the tuk tuk from hotel are usually high (1-2 usd higher). The breakfast is not really good, only a few dishes.

The building outside looks a bit old but it is Cozy and luxurious inside. It is located on the riverside with nice and fresh view. The service is a bit off which u can tell right away. However, some staffs have done their best service which could be compensated for others. They saved too much electricity for the meeting room. The food is nice.

Decent location. Clean rooms, and caring staff catering to large groups of westerners. Breakfast is on point. Safes dont work, nice roof top, weird smells in some rooms, disorganized group check ins.
