What a splendid hotel! The hotel itself is delightful - and there is the "wonderful" fact that it is a historical building with a UNESCO protected 400 year old staircase - with every comfort and amenity on offer. Wonderful accomodation with everything a 5 star hotel offers. The Restaurant is top-notch. Service is exemplary and helpful. Special plaudits to Agnese who materially helped make my time in Riga so enjoyable. There is nothing not to like about a stay here. Go!

Couldn't fault this hotel. Small (I think 15 rooms or so), efficient and friendly service, probably the best hotel breakfast you'll ever eat. Hot food to order, and a varied and impressive cold selection. Good coffee (to order). Had a facial in the spa and the therapist was excellent. Very comfortable bedrooms and quiet. A smorgasbord of toiletries provided, mini bar, water, coffee machine. Located on a quiet little road on the edge of the Old Town, 2 mins walk to Dome Square. Lots of quality restaurants within 5 mins walk.

We enjoyed a family pre Christmas trip to Riga in December and stayed in The Dome hotel . It is a beautiful boutique hotel situated in the old town. The room was very comfortable and welcoming, with tea and coffee facilities with a fully stocked mini bar and a TV. It was serviced each day, bed made and supply of fresh towels, beverages and drinking water replenished. There were 16 in our group ages ranging from 5 years to 70. I personally stayed in the room at the top , where I discovered a roof terrace outside my door. Between us we had 9 rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. You can sit down and order a cooked breakfast or simply opt for buffet style which consists of fruit, yogurt, pastries, breads etc. We booked the dining room for dinner one evening where we enjoyed a 7 course tasting menu. The food was excellent and they catered for the 2 children and for the vegetarians and vegans in our group. There was a Christmas market within 5 minute walk and many restaurants, bars and shops nearby. All within walking distance.

Beautiful boutique hotel, only 15 rooms of various sizes and prices in the heart of the old town. We stayed in room 201 a luxury suite , very large with king bed, bath and shower, uses ritual soaps and gels, includes a mini bar that is extra but includes coffee machine refilled daily. The staff are all friendly and helpful and Breakfast is probably the best I have had in many hotels around the world served daily in their Michelin restaurant. Well worth booking here if you are travelling to riga.

I booked a room at the Tokyo Dome Hotel in Japan, but it ended up being booked at a foreign hotel that I had no connection to. I didn't stay there. They just took the money from my credit card. It's disgusting.

We booked top room. Disappointing. Not all what is presented. Has seen better days. Room was dark. I got a glass splinter in my foot in our room. I told front desk they needed to thoroughly clean/vacuum the room before we went out. We came back and I got another glass splinter in my foot! I complained more vigorously and it emerges someone had a rager in this room and broke a bunch of stuff. I told the hotel to make the room safe. Really poor. Breakfast was lovely. Front desk staff nice. Sauna nice. I am not sure I would stay in Old Town next trip to Riga.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Dome Hotel in Riga! We were in Riga to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to make it an occasion to remember. Upon our arrival, they surprised us with treats and a bottle of fizz in the room to celebrate – such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to mark must-visit spots in Riga on a map and even recommending some fantastic cocktail bars. Their local knowledge and personal attention made exploring the city so much more enjoyable. Breakfast each morning was a highlight – delicious, freshly made dishes served with care. On the day of our city tour, they were kind enough to prepare coffees to go, ensuring we started our day on the right foot. It’s little things like this that make a big difference. The service, ambiance, and overall experience were fantastic, and we’re already looking forward to staying at the Dome Hotel again in the future. If you’re heading to Riga, this is the place to be – it’s a gem! Thank you to the wonderful team for making our trip so special.

This is not a flashy hotel. It's niche. The first impression is not "bad" but doesn't much the array of "jewels" you discover hour by hour. The location is fabulous. The staff extremely friendly (and incredibly good looking!!!). The room had so much comfort and chic details. But never tacky. Everything is exquisitely understated. The breakfast is very tasteful and again all very misurated. Just like the TV channels who are only 10 which I totally adored! And they have the classic keys and not the ******* cards. What a sophisticated mentality must be behind all this. Simply stunning and I truly enjoyed my staying.

Beautiful hotel, perfect for a special occasion or a short visit to Riga!
The location is perfect for a first-time visitors, but also for those who are in love of Riga’s Old Town.
The room is spacious (I’ve got a Suite), has all the necessities including bathrobe, slippers, dental kit etc.
The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable!
There are two saunas and both of them are private - definitely recommend to check the one on the 5th floor, it has a gorgeous view of Dome Cathedral
The breakfast buffet has a wide selection of local products and also some pastries and fruits. Coffee is great and also it’s possible to order straight from the kitchen (Cheese omelette and Eggs Benedict were excellent!)
The location is perfect for a first-time visitors, but also for those who are in love of Riga’s Old Town.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Riga Old Town. Nice rooms, good breakfast and service. Has its own steam room downstairs, and a lovely rooftop terrace for a cocktail looking out over the roofs.
