Super nice staff and delicious food (we had dinner)
They have an breakfast buffet that fills it purpose but nothing to fancy.
The hotel have an interesting and weird architecture.
The room we had was cold and no way to regulate the temperature (no remote for the unit) and you can hear everything that happens in the hotel because of the thin walls. Have that in mind if you plan to have "Adult time" we got woken up twice one night, but to our luck the guy finished fast 🤣
Good location for sightseeing.

I am giving this hotel a 5/5 simply because of its sincerity in BREAKFAST! The fried eggs are amazing. There’s currently an eggs shortage in the United States because of bird flu as of this writing: eggs are a scarcity and cost about $10 for a dozen, if you can find them. However, here, for about 50 euros give or take during winter time, you have a breakfast buffet with amazing fried eggs and bacons. The coffee machine is wonderful & juices are fresh. The room has a bath tub which works really well. Bars a few minutes away.

A good hotel located in the city center, within walking distance of all major attractions. The staff is friendly, and the overall experience was pleasant. The room was very warm, and I easily adjusted the heating. There was a slight carpet smell, but the hotel was very clean overall. The price is reasonable and fair for the quality of the stay.

• The location is undoubtedly great! We just walked to the hotel from the bus station. Despite the nearby train and tram lines, I found the place quiet, perhaps because of the season. Otherwise, the summer terrace under the windows could add some noise.
• My husband noted the hotel's design, especially the room's dark tones.
• The personnel were friendly and polite. They let us check in earlier, which was quite comfortable for us.
• The bed is comfortable. I appreciate that it was a king-size mattress, not the two mattresses put together, as usual. Speaking of mattresses, ours was relatively good, meaning we didn't have sore backs in the mornings.

Disliked
• I personally didn't like that the room was quite dark in the daylight. The light itself was kind of dark in the room. I would appreciate the brighter light at least in the bathroom.
• Also, from the corridor, I could hear the working vacuum cleaner.
• My husband noted that the electric appliances, such as the hair dryer and sockets and switches, are located in the bath zone, which is undoubtedly hazardous.
• I think that the bathtub wasn't crispy clean. And the drain didn't work well, even when showering.

The room is large enough for two people, leaving a bit of space to one one big luggage. The bathroom is "ok", but the sink is very small and it makes difficult even simple actions like washing your face.
In summer you have to use the air conditioner in the room, since not all of them have real windows.
The breakfast is very good but very crowded.
Good tradeoff between cost and position.

Very old and small room. Everything working though. Location is in the old town, easy to walk everywhere.
The breakfast was typical in the area, good enough.

An old and elegant hotel let you immerse in the unique atmosphere of history and culture of Riga old town.

The amenities are well maintained in its old fashion. The plain and basic breakfast however was a bit let down though.
