Rixwell Konventa Seta Design Hotel

One of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed! The staff were helpful and accommodating, and check-in was easy and quick. The hotel is within short walking distance of anything in old town, and still only 15 mins walk to central riga. It's very well located and a beautiful place to be based.

Beautifully renovated place, spacious rooms, wonderful bed, walking distance from railway and bus stations, everything in the old town really close by. Highly recommend. Huge breakfast buffet, worst scrambled eggs ever.
Anyhow, I loved it.

Stayed 2 nights here as a part of larger Poland and the Baltics tour. Intentionally stayed in the Old City in each and looking for hotels with charm or historic interest. This did not disappoint. It did feel more like a nicer luxury hotel, with slippers and AC, which was nice. It was recommended by my old and outdated Rough Guide, so glad to know this recommendation is still solid. The hotel was super easy to access by foot from the train and bus stations, which was nice, about a ten minute walk away and easy to find. Also easy to launch north into the newer part of the city to look at architecture. In the Old City very close to all the main sights, including lots of churches and museums. A great base for exploration! We even made it over to the big new library and still very walkable. Highly recommend for location alone! We had booked directly with the hotel (which, they say lets you check in early, but we were not allowed to check in early, so take that with a grain of salt). The staff were all very very young but very friendly and eager to be helpful and please in every interaction. They were having a lot of fun between guests, I think, but immediately focused on you when you popped into sight. There was a nice lobby space and bathrooms off to side when we did have to wait a bit for check in, and they held our luggage, which was nice. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable with two separate twin beds (I made sure of this at check in). AC worked great so we could reduce outside noise and keep the windows shut. Good space for hanging clothing, a fridge full of goods so hard to put our own snacks in there. The breakfast was fantastic as promised! We paid right before heading to the restaurant, 15 euros per person. Worth it. There is a wide selection of goods - scrambled eggs, other hot items, a whole oatmeal bar, fresh fruit variety (a delicious peach!), tea and coffee and juice, salad, cheese, etc. We filled up the one day we ate in there! Overall for price, comfort, and ease of access we were very pleased with this stay!

Really nice place to stay since it’s in the middle of the old town. We were very satisfied with our rooms, but it took three nights before we got our room cleaned (even with the sign saying please clean our room)

The quality of rooms, service and meals is excellent, 5 stars. And you get it for very reasonable price, considering that the hotel located in the very heart of the Old Town, and at the same time close to all public transportation. However, the location is alsi the small downside of the experience - it's too loud in the late evening under the windows. There is a great pub sharing the location with the hotel (I mean- really great pub, with wonderful choices of beer, tasty food, great staff, etc), but because of it, and also the proximity of other pubs of Old Riga, public noice is considerably high. One night I was awaken by car horn at 2AM and loud music coming from that car - right under my windows some guys were picking up friends from the pub.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The room was very nice and the staff were kind. The cleaning was not so good, during my stay there was no clean up, no change of trash bag or towels.

A true gem in the heart of Old Riga! Really cozy and fresh hotel with nice service :) We stayed for 4 nights and our room was cleaned well daily, the room was quite large and with all necessary amenities. Yard-view rooms are very well soundproofed, so you hear particularly nothing. Breakfast was quite good in a pub just in 2 steps from the front door (the sip of a fresh air in the morning was the best part of the day!). Safe parking just around the corner (near Galleria) 15€ per night. Totally recommend this hotel!

Very cozy, clean rooms, stylish interiors, excellent location. We stayed for a night and it was worth it. Check-in though took a little longer. Only thing we were slightly disappointed were breakfast. They are served in a restaurant right next to the hotel, food was not the best, place was crowded and service could be better too. They charge 15€ for breakfast. Probably there are better options for breakfast or brunch in the city center.
