Historic Boutique Hotel Cattaro in Kotor

We stayed at this hotel in the Old Town of Kotor, everything was absolutely perfect!
The rooms are stylish, cozy, and very clean, combining the charm of the old town with top-level comfort.The restaurant is a real delight ,delicious food, beautiful presentation, and impeccable service.
The staff are attentive and friendly, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere.
Definitely one of the best places in Kotor. I’ll be happy to come back again! 💛

We had a great stay at this wonderful hotel. Breakfast food is well prepared and thought off. Rooms are clean and spacious, they use well branded shampoo, conditioners and body wash in the bathroom. The staff are amazingly attentive, polite, respectful and helpful. Being in the center of Old Town Kotor, it allows you access to everything you need during your stay.

Great location, friendly staff, especially the receptionist, Adriana. My girlfriend and I relied on the great information she provided us with when we went visiting different spots, as we didn't really know what to see. We stayed for 5 days and every day she would help us with a smile on her face, wonderful person! In the 4th day we went to visit Durmitor, which is a trip that starts at 6 in the morning and ends at 23:00. So we would've missed breakfast. Without us asking, she made us breakfast boxes ready to be collected from the reception at 5:30 AM! Wonderful! Again, great hotel, wonderful staff, amazing location and I hope Adriana will get a raise because she deserves it!

I got the wonderful opportunity to stay at this historical hotel of Hotel Cattaro. This is an amazing hotel located at the beautiful city of Tivat, Montenegro. This hotel is just 10 minutes drive from Tivat Airport. And also it is located within an only-walking area. It has many eateries and small bars. This Hotel was once named as the Napolean’s Theatre. The relationship between the famous Napoleon and this hotel is worth learning. Since I am not a good historian, I suggest the visitors to have research on their own. However, the famous James Bond movie Casino Royale was filmed at this hotel. The rooms give a modern but antic style. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the rooms are large. As I have said this was once a ‘Royal Palace’ , you will get the feel and experience of those royal etiquettes. For all those James Bond lovers – this Hotel is a must to stay. There daily breakfast is amazing, and they have a ‘Royal Ballroom’ style restaurant for the breakfast. I loved the Balkan style of breakfast. There are so many souvenir shops, money changers and other interesting outlets by the walking distance. Just outside the area is a small marina style harbor facility where several pleasure vessels can be seen. You can hire a small boat to have a wonderful ride just outside the hotel area.

This is a wonderful smaller historical hotel located just inside the Old Town walls above the busy main square. Within steps of the Main Sea Gate entrance. Our room had a balcony overlooking the square with the mountains rising above the city for a stunning view! Room was bright, had large windows to open, bathroom very clean and bed was very comfortable. Hotel staff was informative, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was good and they have a great restaurant just outside the hotel. Perfect place to stay in Kotor vs getting into the darker busier side streets! But close to some wonderful restaurants.

(Stayed here with the Colette tour in October). Rooms are nicer than expected and right on the courtyard but you don't hear any sounds with the double doors and curtains closed. For a hotel that's right in the middle of everything you don't feel that way inside the rooms - nice and quiet. No elevator and you needed to carry your luggage up the stairs. Max of 1 to 2 floors. Wi-Fi was strong. Shower pressure was good and consistent but tubs could be difficult to get in and out of. Included slippers and probably the softest robe I've ever encountered. Breakfast was underwhelming. I would be likely to stay at this hotel again if I was to revisit in the future.

We didn't stay here but we did go to the rooftop resturant at the top of the wall and it was stunning! we had a beautiful lady serve us, she was so friendly and welcoming. We have traveled all around Montenegro this trip and this was by far the absolute best service we have had, and not just us, all the tables around us. We all ordered pizza and it was honestly the best we have ever had, so fresh. We will definitely be back! If you're in the old town don't miss out!
