Best Hotels in Kotor

The restaurant for dinner had a special tradition and phenomenal food. In short, I can say that this is the best hotel in Montenegro

A very unique and short but phenomenal experience. The hospitality was at the highest level, the cleanliness was brilliant, and the breakfast was diverse, with everything being delicious

Wonderful facilities! Service here was pretty good and considerate.

I personally took advantage of the valet service every chance I got. Took a private boat tour with my family right from the Hotel

The property is beautiful and the setting right on the bay can’t be beat. The staff was always friendly and ready to help. I truly enjoyed the beach, the pools, the gym, sauna and all the facilities

Breakfast could be tastier. The coffee machine is not great. Otherwise nice modern rooms, remote location, friendly staff.

Really nice staff, drove us and our luggage back to our car in their golf cart. Room was comfortable and we liked the overall medieval vibe. Would definitely stay again!

We ate here twice, as a party of 7. Delicious bruschetta and antipasti platters. Great service and helpful waiter - Alexander. Would highly recommend.

Several times we felt that the paying breakfast guests were getting a better level of service than us as hotel guests, two mornings we weren't asked at all if we wanted anything cooked from the egg menu

Non resident customers having breakfast had a much broader breakfast menu including pancakes, filled croissants etc. We felt that hotel guests should be offered the full breakfast menu

We did have some issues with bad smells from the bathroom drain, placing the bath mat over the drain seemed to help, but probably needs some attention

Our only real complaints about the hotel related to the restaurant area - hotel guests have the option of a buffet breakfast or eggs in various forms

We had an absolutely delightful stay for three nights at this charming, small, old-style hotel right near the sea shore. Every staff member works hard to create that ambiance of "family" that makes this place special

The food, drinks and service were excellent! We absolutely loved the location and would happily return next time! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing holiday with beautiful views of the bay area

They don't have the largest breakfast buffet, but they have a carefully curated breakfast platter with several a la carte options on top of that

They don't have a gym, but they have a small private beach just across the road for tanning, swimming and cooling off

There is also a bar that serves great coffee and drinks, in addition to the minibar in your room. There are small shops and restaurants nearby. Management allows you to bring in food to enjoy on the terrace

I can confidently say this is one of the best stays I’ve ever had, and I will be recommending Royal Blue Resort & Residences to everyone I know. I can’t wait to return – thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

The room is well-equipped with a kitchen and everything around it. The water pressure is strong and the water is hot. The breakfast is excellent and varied, with a sea view

The access road is narrow in some parts and requires extra caution. Free parking is available, and there are shuttles to the airport and to the city

The hotel is very new looking and equipped well. The gym is good due they have a problem with the treadmill (the only one they got) so if you are not 40 kilo, you can't run because it will shut down during the run

A clean hotel, conveniently located between Tivat and Kotor, with stunning sunsets from the sea-view rooms. The breakfasts are excellent, and overall, the hotel offers delicious food.

The hotel has an outdoor pool, which the kids enjoyed! The breakfast was limited in variety, but of excellent quality! We had dinner at the on-site restaurant, which was reasonably priced, delicious, and featured a live show with a view of Tivat from afar

Service was good other than forgetting our drinks order, but there was a bit of chaos when it started raining and the waiters had to move everything under shelter so we'll let them off

This is purely a review of the restaurant and a warning re pricing model. We are here the other night staff were friendly and attentive and the food was good though portion size was a little small for the cost

Went there for dinner this evening. The table side service was very good with every server very much ready and willing to attend to us. Our dissatisfaction lies with the price and presentation of the food

All staff are extremely friendly and attentive, serving food and drinks then taking plates away very efficiently. The food was delicious both nights and we thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ style of our meals

We ate here at the restaurant twice during our 4 night stay in Dobrota and had a fantastic experience each time. The views and setting at this restaurant are stunning, particularly at sunset

New hotel with nice amenities. It comes with free breakfast . Hotel is located in industrial area. About 15 minutes away from Kotor.

We arrived at the hotel a bit late and we weren't able to eat dinner prior. Sandra helped us to call restaurants and recommend as well. They call taxi too as when we need it

Unfortunately, their restaurants are not open 24H due to winter time schedule and the room doesn't have kettle upon arrival but you can ask at the reception

Location, the best in the old city of Kotor but we experienced some noise from the square on the Saturday night of our visit

coffee on tap in small cups so machine frequently visited! Large bed in a large room (107) with a lovely bathroom. Could do with a lighted mirror for make up in the bathroom which would double up for men shaving

It was also remarkably well sound proofed. We enjoyed the use of the gym (there is also a sauna) and complimentary breakfast which had a great range. We would love to come back and stay at Hotel Vardar

The hotel perfectly combines authentic stone architecture with modern comfort, and the pool and terrace overlooking the bay make it the ideal place to relax. Staff were warm, attentive, and made our stay feel special

All-in-one: access to beach, on-site pool, simple breakfast to start the day. Getting there is a challenge to drivers that do not know how to maneuver on one street roads that de-facto are two way.

Without doubt the best and friendliest hotel we have ever stayed at. The team working there were all brilliant, the rooms were lovely and so was the breakfast which was fresh and varied

Staff were brilliant, always there and helpful, and the room and facilities made this an amazing holiday, got to be honest only went in the pool once, but was really nice, we just seemed to enjoy the outside sea area with sun beds more you could just all day there watching the world go by, and swimming in the sea absolute amazing place and staff and a credit to the owners, already looking at going...

The food was excellent (get the burrata!) and the service was great!

My friends and I went here for dinner and were blown away by the view at sunset from the rooftop patio. The most amazing musician was playing and it was incredible to see the view of the mountains with the sun going down

A very nice boutique hotel right in the heart of the old city. The room was quite big and well equipped. The staff was super friendly and spoke many languages. Breakfast is a la carte so it’s quality versus quantity

This hotel is very cute and located in the middle of old town. Even though it is on the main walking road, it is very quiet and we didn’t have problems sleeping

The room is ok, the inside of the ancient city can’t be compared with the outside of the city, but it’s really convenient, the service staff are pretty good, the facilities are average, but sufficient, if you want convenience and a leisurely stroll, you must live in the ancient city, it’s a different feeling!

There is a terrace which has a good view of the old town, but we were told that reservation is needed. Would be great if there is more variety of breakfast options

The bestt view for the best price. The staff are also very friendly and upgraded us to a room with the bestt view. Will definetly recommend this place as its close to old kotor, also not too far from tivat airport

The hotel is a bit worn, but this is more than made up for by the kindness of the staff and the excellent location

Excellent restaurant onside with quality food and tables right on the edge of the water. If you want a quiet place to relax, away from the crowds and in a beautiful setting, this is perfect

The beach is comfortable and pebbly, the restaurant is excellent, and breakfast is both varied and delicious. The private, covered and guarded parking is also a big plus

You can order whatever you want, and they will cook it for you if the kitchen has all the products. The staff is excellent, they will help with everything. They checked you in for free 6 hours before check-in time;)

Montenegro is a fantastic holiday destination, with great prices, hiking and beaches, and Nigel's is a must-see during your visit, at least for a couple of nights, or longer for a relaxing stay

Everything, the hospitality from Nigel (and Philip)the fresh homemade breakfast, the beautiful spot at the bay of Kotor, the apartment ( we stayed in the poolhouse), the swimmingpool and everything was taken care of ( like suggestions and reservations for diner and things to do in the environment)

The only thing that could have been better was staying longer. Nigel's is superb, with great attention to detail, from the comfy sun loungers and fluffy towels to the homemade jams and muesli for breakfast

We had a great two night stay there. All the stuff is really friendly and helpful. You are in 5 minutes by foot in the old town. We can absolutely recommend this hotel!

stayed here with his friend Evan for 7 nights in early August 2024. I visited him and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The views of the bay were beautiful. The proximity to the city center was 5 minutes walk

Very good! ! The boss and the boss lady are very nice. We checked in in the morning and gave us free breakfast. In order to let us and our friends stay on the same floor, they upgraded our room for free.

We stayed in the apartment which was brilliant. Having a great view of Boker Bay we could sit outside and enjoy the view. We had the room cleaned everyday which we didn’t need as we were out most days

From the moment we set foot in this hotel,we were made to feel special. The warm welcome from the staff and the owner was a lovely surprise. Everyone here is so kind and always smiling

I stayed in a room with a wonderful balcony overlooking the old town and so that was an advantage. The room is clean and spacious and has enough closet space. You also have a fridge to keep your drinks cool

The only disadvantage I would mention is since the hotel is located in the heart of the old town there can be noise from the street and so I recommend using ear plugs at night to be able to sleep

The breakfast buffet is spacious and very tasty with a selection of cold and hot options. The staff is very friendly and approachable and will make you feel at home the moment you arrive

The bathroom is spacious and shower water pressure is strong. There is daily housekeeping which keeps the room very clean and supplies enough towels

My favourite thing to do was to sit on the balcony and watch the crowds go by after an exciting day of exploring Kotor

Amazing hotel, just 50 meters away from the closest beach. The hotel itself is placed on the coast with beautiful view on the sea and hills. Hotel has a lot parking spots and it is highly biker friendly

Maybe I overrated the place, but it offers you almost everything you want for a few days of visit. The rooms are not big but for us they were perfect. Tasty food without pretensions

About 30 minutes walk from the ancient city of Kotor, you will pass by a few good seaside restaurants, and take a taxi for about 6 Euros

Beautiful stay, attentive service, and attentive to everyone's needs. Excellent breakfast. I stayed in the Elisa Suite, which includes a small terrace reserved for emotions, an experience to be repeated.

The hotel facilities are very new, and the price of less than 100€ is excellent value for money

The Guesthouse is located inside the Old Town which is great. There is a souvenir shop with the same name, so you enter there and do the check-in

Since I am not a good historian, I suggest the visitors to have research on their own. However, the famous James Bond movie Casino Royale was filmed at this hotel. The rooms give a modern but antic style

Nice location but place has strong pros and cons The decor of the room is a bit gawdy. One can keep hearing many sounds and noise including the time bell which can be disturbing. Tres lychee dessert was good

Pros: wonderful location, good breakfast Cons: stayed in two different rooms, both of which didn't have a working air conditioner - in 35 degree weather. Hotel couldn't even offer a fan. It was unbearable.

Location In the old town, near the north gate. It's about a 15-minute walk from the bus terminal. Surroundings A few minutes' walk from the north gate, there is a shopping mall, and inside there is a supermarket

Water will inevitably get out. The facilities were clean and hot water came out quickly. Please note that check-in time is until 9pm. There is no reception, so you will need to communicate with the staff

There are plenty of places to eat and drink around. There are dishes in the kitchen. You can buy food at the supermarket and bring it in to cook. Bathroom and toilet The shower booth is small

Excellent, clean accommodation. Good food which was reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. On a busy road but we got used to that and it didn't interrupt our sleep

Nikola is the best and most lovely manager I ever met, he made our stay so much easier and enjoyable ! The rooms are spacious and clean and almost all have sea view, view which is amazing from your balcony, even better on the rooftop where the jacuzzi is located

Small boutique hotel with a great view of the bay. Small pool When you can sunbathe. Easy access to the waterfront walk, where you can do a pleasant 30-minute walk to the Old Town. The breakfast buffet is good enough

This place is perfect, brand new, very clean and the people working there is super lovely. Is well located, one street down you will find the coast and cute spots to swim, you can easily achieve Kotor walking by the sea

A bit slow in cleaning the room on the first day, but we rectified it by stating when we would like it cleaned. A kettle wasn't provided, but when asked Nikola (he's very friendly) obliged

A very short walk down to a much quieter lane along the shoreline, which was very pleasant. We didn't hire a car or bike, so walked a lot. Buses were cheap but be prepared to wait
