Best Hotels in Kotor

This is purely a review of the restaurant and a warning re pricing model. We are here the other night staff were friendly and attentive and the food was good though portion size was a little small for the cost

Went there for dinner this evening. The table side service was very good with every server very much ready and willing to attend to us. Our dissatisfaction lies with the price and presentation of the food

All staff are extremely friendly and attentive, serving food and drinks then taking plates away very efficiently. The food was delicious both nights and we thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ style of our meals

We ate here at the restaurant twice during our 4 night stay in Dobrota and had a fantastic experience each time. The views and setting at this restaurant are stunning, particularly at sunset

We would recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in the area and hope to return at some point in the future!

For a 5 star hotel/restaurant we were expecting at the very least hot food and better designed plates. We ordered the sea bass, sea bream (which suggests it's 2 fish) we only received one of the two fish

Service was good, and the views were really lovely. One of the most panoramic spots in Kotor. We paid 50 euros for two, so not the cheapest, but it was worth it overall

We all ordered pizza and it was honestly the best we have ever had, so fresh. We will definitely be back! If you're in the old town don't miss out!

Has the opportunity to visit Hotel Cattaro, but only to enjoy an outdoors balcony dinner. Great food, good local wine, super waitress. We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner.

Brilliant food, beautiful location, and some cats! I ordered a tuna steak, and it was one of the nicest fish dishes I've ever had. The grilled veg side dish was also worthwhile

A truly romantic and genuine hotel in the port of Old Town of Kotor. Good to know would be that it is in the middle of a restaurant plaza and can be a bit noisy, but it stops before midnight

Very good hotel, helpful reception, medievial atmosphere.

Best location to stay in the old city. The breakfast was good with many options. The Resturant is the best location for evening drinks.

Very good hotel in the middle of old town close to all the important sightseeing points and restaurants. Receptionist anja and jelena were very helpful and supportive

Stayed March 22-23, 2024. Lovely hotel. Full western standards. Nice rooms. Very clean. Very friendly staff.

Food was delicious. We had a breakfast there and the guy (Vladmir) was lovely.

The hotel is in an amazing location, the pool is great with many sunbeds ideal for a relaxing day by the pool, the gym was good for what you would expect from a hotel gym (they have an incline and flat bench press which is quite uncommon for hotel gyms), it would be nice if they had heavier dumbbells though, the view from our room was amazing and the staff were all very friendly and helpful

There are however some things that were not so great which are worth pointing out: -the rooms are quite dated so don't expect modern installations

-while the gym was awesome, it would benefit from having ac, as working out without it is quite difficult when the temperature outside is +30°c outside

The rooms were cleaned by a lovely lady (sorry I didn't catch your name but appreciate the cleanliness of the room), and the food was served by a wonderful waiter and waitress

The employees were very attentive and friendly. It was the hotel with the best view among the hotels I have stayed in so far

We stayed for two nights in here. Everyone in this hotel was so nice and very helpful for us. The Turkish chef’s breakfast was very delicious and the hamburger with chicken was also good

We were given welcome drinks with prosecco, and a cake and biscuit were given complimentary. The breakfast in the morning had very good options, and the cooked menu where I picked a montenegrin breakfast was very tasty

This hotel was the best by far in the Kotor area. I got a room for 5 days and I love the friendliness of the staff and the room. The hotel room had a kingsize bed, and it came with a fully stocked fridge

Our hotel in Dubrovnik was not getting back to us and we were unsure if we had a place to stay. The Pietra staff went out of their way to call and figure out the logistics to lock in the Dubrovnik hotel for us

It is one of the most beautiful hotels in Montenegro. The rooms are cleaned during breakfast and the breakfast varieties are many and very clean. The hotel staff is friendly and attentive.

The wellness room had everything I wanted. It had a sauna, shower, and jacuzzi. Overall, the staff were amazing whether it was front of the desk or waiting staff in the restaurant

They also included half-board to compensate for the price difference. The breakfast and dinner at Monte Cristo were good, and the atmosphere was charming and boutique-like

They moved us to one of their nearby apartments in a quieter area called Apartment Leo, which had thick stone walls that provided excellent sound insulation

If you're a light sleeper and want to rest before 1 am during the summer months, I recommend staying on higher floors at Hotel Monte Cristo or opting for their Apartment Leo

Unfortunately, our room faced the square where the band played, and despite the double-glazed windows, the music was still audible, resulting in a bad night's sleep

The hotel staff was very understanding and quickly provided solutions

Awesome hotel, very authentic and cozy in the heart of the beautiful vibrant city. Food at the hotel is delicious from lunch dinner to breakfast. Staff are very friendly and welcoming

The owners were very welcoming and friendly, the room was comfortable and the view of Kotor bay from the balcony was stunning! Dinner and breakfast were excellent and the service was great! Overall a great hotel to stay and I highly recommend!

Amazing hotel, just 50 meters away from the closest beach. The hotel itself is placed on the coast with beautiful view on the sea and hills. Hotel has a lot parking spots and it is highly biker friendly

Maybe I overrated the place, but it offers you almost everything you want for a few days of visit. The rooms are not big but for us they were perfect. Tasty food without pretensions

Breakfast offers so many choices so you wont have problem with having a nice morning meal. Overall highly recommend place to stay!

The food here was so fresh, wife had the mussels, I had the seafood salad and smoked salmon with ricotta. It is a beautiful restaurant on the inside, clean washrooms, and located in a prime location. Highly recommend.

Experienced dinner, and it was wonderful. Bojan was absolutely amazing and took great care of us. Food was fresh and great value for the price. We will return. Live music and beautiful outdoors

And it seems they are an integrated team replacing each other without any fuss. As a person who lives in Montenegro but works with foreigners, I like to observe the companies from the HR side

I think this is the best hotel for all my travel experience! It's even more than a hotel - during my stay I had the feeling that I was visiting old friends (the most hospitable and friendly staff ever)

The most cozy and comfortable room, incredible views and location, swimming pool, indoor parking, excellent breakfast. In future travels to Montenegro I will stay only here ♥️

Tanja the hotel owner/manager was so accommodating, from helping us with taxi service from the airport and to leaving the hotel to go to Budva, and make sure we didn’t have a room beyond the 1st floor because of my moms knees, and she was very informative and helpful with how to spend our days in the city

It was a lovely place to stop for a quiet drink and swim in the sea on the way past. Stopped in for drinks because the host was so friendly as we walked past, suggesting we were looking for a place to stop and rest.

Lovely quiet place with amazing view on bay and cool design. Some furniture is very old and has a touch of history which is very interesting! All renovated with love and care and you feel the soul in every detail

I hope to visit again soon! Due to the building being old, an elevator is not available, and the only downside is that a hotel room is not available on ground level for those who may need it

We were welcomed with complimentary champagne on the private beach, and enjoyed complimentary homemade breakfast each day. The historic building is charming and cute

This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It was beautiful with stunning views of the bay, really close the beach and delicious restaurants, and it has the most fantastic breakfast and facilities (pool and spa)

It also has some really cute tortoise pets! It’s a nice walk/bike ride from Kotor old town as well. But most of all the staff are absolutely incredible - so friendly and nothing was too much trouble

Location - Fantastic!! 1 minute walk to the beach with the best mountain sea view ever, buzzling with restaurants, bars, grocery store & bus stop! You couldn’t have asked for a better location

And even when you turn in your own bed, you can wake up from the creak noise of the wooden bed. The hotel's location is beyond good, that's no doubt. But the only good thing is the location and view anyway

Room was relatively nice, lacking selection at breakfast but it did change day to day. They have a GREAT laundry service where you fill a designated bag for €5 and you get it back the next morning through house cleaning

We honestly expected to get our clothing back just shoved back into the bag or roughly folded but everything was folded and packed into the bag nicely and they even matched our socks together

Very cosy place in the very center of old Kotor town, with perfect service. People working there are always with a smile on their faces and willing to help you with everything you need

My wife and I had a wonderful time relaxing here at Boka Bay. We loved the design of the hotel. We had the ground floor and it was comfortable, spacious and luxurious

This is probably the best accomodation at the Bay of Kotor with calm warm waters literally at your doorstep, nice breakfast served at the beach, few good places to dine at walking distance

Really a lovely place, everything is perfect: the room are beautiful, the beach, the swimming pool on the rooftop … and I cannot forget the kindness of Jelena and the amazing breakfast served in room, beach or rooftop !

In front of the property there is a small private beach where you can enjoy most beautiful sunsets with fine Montenegrin wine. If you want peaceful vacation with amazing views to beautiful bay this is the place to be

They make you a superb homemade breakfast that surely will start your day with happiness. The area ia super nice and quiet and just a 5 minute drive from kotor

We had a full itinerary for Montenegro but ended up spending most of our days relaxing by the pool because it was just too good to not enjoy! The food at the restaurant is also great, we got pretty sick of eating at konoba restaurants, and the hotel restaurant served a variety of flavors out of typical Balkan food

Amazing breakfast selection with menu ordering included. We pop down to breakfast, staff notice and our room is made by the time we return. May seems to be the best time to visit Kotor Bay which is truly a hidden gem

Beautiful accommodations and a staff that could not have been more warm and helpful. One of the best stays I've had on any trip

The breakfast is to die for! So basically, we never really left the hotel for 3 days! The only thing that I didn’t expect was how much sound travels into the rooms from the hallways and also from other rooms, but I don’t think that’s anything they can change now

First of all the two staff I would like to personally thank is Stefan and Andrea who could not have done more for us if they tried. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms have heated floors and balcony is a wonderful view
