Hotel AMI Budva

My room, although at the rear of the Hotel was a nice size and well appointed, it had a balcony and had excellent views of the mountain range behind the town. The service from all staff was excellent and the meals had a choice for everyone. It is difficult to fault the hotel and the excellent guitar player playing easy listening music in the evenings an added bonus

We stayed at Hotel Ami as part of a Riviera Travel Tour. Our room was on the second floor facing the sea. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The bed was a massive queen size and very comfortable. A massive 24 foot balcony with wonderful views. There was a kettle and teas/ coffee etc. We got free milk from the bar downstairs. The buffet breakfast and dinner provided a vast array of food and at least 8 different puddings. Yes some of the breakfast items could have been warmer and sometimes some of the fish and meat at dinner was a little dry but overall it was excellent. You also had access to free coffee at dinner. The hotel is located a short 5/10 minute walk from a small beach promenade. This had plenty of restaurants, bars, ice cream vendors. Next door to the hotel is a small supermarket and a local daily fruit market. There is a larger supermarket just 10 minutes walk away. A couple of minutes walk from the hotel is a bus stop, serving Budva and Kotor, next to the bus stop is a tourist information centre. The front of house, restaurant and housekeeping staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very good, the customer service is 5 start. When we arrived the room was not ready they apologised and gave us a room upgrade. They organised transport for us so we could go to Albania for a day. Rooms were well cleaned and tidy we even had chocolate left on the bed for us. The location is perfect for transportation and to get to the beach. The bell boy was also very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The sea view room has a nice view, it is almost the highest hotel around. The hotel breakfast is normal, the continental breakfast is not bad, and the bathroom glass is very clean.

Staff was simply amazing - including, but not limited to GM, receptionists, bell-boys and everybody at the SPA centre. Extremely hospitable and capable of magic that shouldn't even be possible - such as switching rooms at the peak of the season.
Breakfast was tasty and ample - buffet with a good selection of cold cuts, eggs, pastries, fruits and vegetables - you get the idea. The restaurant also never felt crowded.
Own section of the beach (with dedicated transfer) is a huge plus.
Absolutely breathtaking view from the room.
Housemaids were swift and almost stealthy; laundry service was also very quick.
No issues with soundproofing at all.
Despite the hotel being the tallest building in town, I never had to wait for the elevator for too long.
Gym is fairly tiny and it can't accommodate more than two people (though I've never met anyone there). Space around the outdoor pool is also somewhat limited.
There were issues with daytime water supply (and, subsequently, with air conditioning) for a couple of days due to a city-wide outage, but they were promptly resolved and the managers went above and beyond to make up for the inconvenience.

The positive: the room is very spacious and comfortable, very well equipped and everything is qualitative. Housekeeping is ok. Bed is comfortable and the view is great. The heating system was great on a cold December day. The live music performed at the bar is great. The negative: food lacks variety and taste, definitely not even close to a 4*. The heated pool is very cold, I'm not sure if it's even heated. Although I discussed this with the staff,they insisted the temperature is 29 degrees, and there was nothing more they could do. But obviously it was not (I swam on a lot of heated pools before and I can tell) only I didn't have a water thermometer to prove it. We had to go to the sauna to get a short warm up. The sauna and steam room and emotional shower were great though. But the Spa experience wasn't the best in overall and that much relaxing as I was expecting. There's a bleach smell coming from the Spa in the bar and reception area. I would definitely return for an overnight stay, but would rather choose another hotel if I would want to spend a day of relaxation and use of the facilities.

Nice, relatively new hotel in Petrovac. Breakfasts are great. There is a supermarket downstairs. Great villas on the sea and islands.

Our family stayed at this hotel last week for a wedding that was held in the mountains. Hotel was definitely 5*. Rooms immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast great and the staff went out of their way to help us with taxis for 3 solid days up and down mountain. They supplied umbrellas and made taxi go to basement to pick us up so we wouldn’t get wet. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful views from the rooms. Stunning little resort. Would definitely recommend
