Petrovac is a small but nice town, the location of the hotel is excellent, the room is good, the food is really varied and tasty, with a lot of choice of fish dishes and seafood for dinner.
But the hotel staff are unfriendly and the communication is very poor. Room cleaning is also poor, we had a problem with the towels when we arrived, there was only one small towel and we had to ask for a replacement. The reception staff are unwilling to help and their communication was not pleasant. Some of the sunbeds by the pool are dirty and very worn.

Very good service. Convenient location. The sea and the beach are just super! The rooms are comfortable.

Beautiful property with perfect location, just in front of the beach. We loved the garden. Swimming pool is perfect for kids when sea water is too cold. Lunch is rich and delicious with all sorts of fish, meat, variety for vegetarians and fresh fruit and sweets.

Excellent location very to the beach. Rooms were very nice but apartment style & no teas/coffees. Breakfast/ dinner were a bit bland. Ana at reception for Palas Lux was excellent - so helpful with recommendations & very accommodating.

We stayed in the hotel at the end of July. The hotel and especially the rooms are steaming hot. There is NO air conditioning. The stay in the rooms was pure suffering and torture. They have chillers that are not capable of dealing with heat inside and outside.
The location was the only good thing about the hotel. And the girl who makes the omlettes in the morning. The end. I would never go back there, nor would I recommend going there.

We went all inclusive, so food was not a problem, plenty of it and lots of choices. The restaurants around where mainly
pizza joints.
The sea is directly in front of the hotel, with a shingle beach.
So jelly shoes are recommended as the water is quite rocky.
If I had one complaint it would be the beds are a bit low to the ground. We were lucky to see the house martins, swallows and swifts nesting in the hotel and the babes were fledgling. Aerial acrobatics as they flew past you.

The Hotel is beautiful. Both the old and the new. The room we got was lovely and had a view of the sea. Everything was clean, check in and out was easy. The staff were super helpful.
The breakfast was disappointing. Not what we expected at all.... almost like an afterthought. Dry bread, old fruit, unimaginative cuisine basically. Even the juice wasn't fresh.
The information in the room folder is outdated. Massage is significantly more expensive than advertised and the restaurants are not open 24hrs.

4 stars in Montenegro , are equal to 2 stars in every other country.
First of all , we’ll go from the rooms.
Outdated and dirty rooms. The only benefit is the view to the sea , which of course was paid extra. Empty minibar , no kettle , no coffee or tea , and not even water bottles in the room.
Everything in the hotel will be for an extra fee , even if you have full board paid. Cheap wine from the restaurant is marked - all inclusive only - that separation makes you very uncomfortable. Especially when you took that glass , and it’s been taken from you with the words : that’s for all inclusive, not for you, cause you’re not. The food was okay overall, but the cleaning , come on guys , 4 stars, what did you get them for ?
Be aware that pictures in google or trip advisor do not reflect the reality. The beach is so small , you have no where to stand, not even to lay down. We were supposed to walk 1 hour out of Petrovac to another beach. Sun-beds are 15€ / day. Gym 5€ , Pool 5€ ….
Definitely not coming back anymore.
For the price paid , better get an apartment.

Average hotel with some noticeable problems that actually could be solved without a big hassle in long term.
Advantages:
- Pretty ok renovated
- Very good food and choice for breakfast and dinner. Thanks for the cooking stuff for this as at least this was compensating the other uncomfortabilities.
- Close to the beach
Disadvantages:
- The staff is not consolidated and random. Some people are nice but some are just like ghosts and will not show any signs of professionalism.
- Poor service. Rooms and restaurant. For all days there was almost never the juices. They always ended early and no one replaced new ones. Poor cleaning in the rooms.
- Very expensive drinks and poor service if you want to order them. Just get them yourselves.
- Bad table tennis location, no lights.
- The hotel mostly is for old people.

The food is good and diverse. The hotel is clean. The service is OK. Nice view.
