Tarisa Resort & Spa

We had an amazing holiday. The staff were very friendly, the food was good entertainment every nite Breakfast was the same everyday (need change) the Thandoor Restaurant the food was excellent. Lots of activities to do at the resort. Thank you Tarisa had a wonderful stay.

Took all inclusive package, but minibar empty in room, they say do not get it in all inclusive. Though when we booked they never mentioned about it. Room was OK. Food and dessert not great variety. Bar not all cold drinks available. All inclusive only selected drinks and they were bitter juices. No varieties. Have been to other hotels, their selection of drinks is better. Staff were kind and friendly.
Don't know if they do pest control, have cockroaches crawling on tables. Had to change table. Teatime is worse serves only thick pancakes everyday. Had to skip teatime.staff at the restaurant were very nice. No privacy at swimming pool area, outsiders the public can see us directly. On week end at night people align cars all the way close to hotels and do picnic, along with noise and loud music which is disturbing. Hotel could have a wall there instead of fence.

Bad experience.

No variety of food/drink- breakfast there was like 20 pancakes for like 70 guess. No boiled eggs. No chicken for dinner during my stay. No fresh fruits. I've got some melons which seem to me was in the fridge for more than 1 week. At the bar the menu list is too short.

Rooms are ok. Mini bar empty. Bathroom aminities was just a joke. We were three person in the room and got only 1 small soap. Only 3 bath towels. No hand towels were available in room.

The reception really need a renovation. The couch look so dirty and it's pink colour is really not attactive at all.

It is really noticeable that the hotels need to have more staff. Most of the time there was only 1 barman at the bar. Serving and washing all glasses by himself. I really feel bad for him. Most of the staff was on double shift during my stay. A guess relation officer is needed who can attend the guess to make them more comfortable during their check-ins and check-out.

Staff are just great. Good attitude and mostly really helpful. Special mention for Shakti from the restaurant, JeanPierre and Kesaven at the bar. Guys thank you again for the love you have for your job.

So globally there are better 3-stars hotel in Mauritius and i am sure i will not be at Tarisa Hatel again.

Room and terrace was okay , but though we took an all inclusive package, minibar was empty in room. Drinks at minibar not good. Only selected drinks on card in all inlclusive package, not good at all, serves mostly bitter juices. Very less in variety. Even cold drinks not all available .
Everyday mostly same food and dessert in restaurant. Even saw cockroach crawling on dining table in restaurant. Had to change table. Teatime only offers tea/coffee and pancakes everyday. No variety. But staff were welcoming, they were nice. We were not satisfied with our inclusive package. No privacy at swimming poolside. Passers-by can see us directly, no wall just fence. in fact public and cars aligned all the way close to the hotel on week end with noise and loud music at night.
