My stay at Parkroyal is always wonderful. The staff are warmth and always ready to entertain in whatever needs that I have. They are very thoughtful in their service which is commendable. Everything else there just makes up for a complete wonderful staycation.

We stayed in few hotels around Ferringhi but Park Royal was indeed remarkable. The service level was top notch. Even during breakfast rush hour, Saras attended us with a smile on her face. Thank you for the hospitality and will definitely come again.

The shower room next to the swimming pool has a water heater, which is the best feature. They offer shampoo for hair and body wash gel as well. After checking out, my family can still go there to shower after playing at the pool and beach. It's a great convenience.

As a returning guest of this hotel, I was a bit disappointed with the minor shortcomings that I felt shouldn't have happened. Firstly, the shower bracket couldn't hold the shower head for long and I was worried it would fall and hit my head while showering. This hotel is located at the end of Batu Ferringhi Beach. Initially, I hesitated to book because of reviews saying rooms old and not clean. But I had no regret of my two night stay. The room I stayed was clean, spacious, bright and aircon very strong. The beach is just a short walk from the hotel, very near. Overall, I really enjoyed, love it, will definitely be back.

However some issues with room security such as doors not closing properly even when we had we closed it tight. Nice hotel. A bit old but well kept. The have two wings, one beach front and the other across the road. We were not aware when booking online using one of those hotel booking sites. The sites never highlight there are two separate wings. Our TV was faulty, did not complain as we only spent one night here. Room is spacious and clean. The DoubleTree Resort is an excellent choice for a family-focused getaway with great amenities and service. However, if you're looking for a location with immediate access to George Town's city life and street food, its slightly secluded location may be a drawback.

The hotel and the rooms overall looks dated but clean. Staff service was at par with the usual 4/5* rating. Most of them are able to speak in English. We arrived at this 1926 Heritage Hotel and found our way around the arrival hall to get to the reception located at the side entrance to check in. As soon as you enter the main hall, you can feel a positive atmosphere of calm and serenity. The style is well-maintained. Clean rooms. Courteous and attentive staff. The photo shows everything so well and highly environment in the room, however when 1st step into the room, I totally regretted just trusting the photo blindly. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I appreciate the helpfulness of the staff whom was on duty on Aug 10 at noon.

Everything is good as well as location. But the bed is quite stiff, I recommend the hotel to add a additional layer of mattress topper to improve the sleeping experience!

Closed to Kimberly night market and several attraction points. Good to stay here for travelling around Georgetown. Staff very polite and responsive.

Hotel is central and close to everything you would need. The main bus station is nearby catching bus 401E will get you to the hotel and return. It will cost you 3.7 ringgit the driver does not offer change so bring 4 x 1 or exact. The place is closed to everything i love eg. Food, bubble tea, chagee, all sweet thing. Staff very nice and helpful. The room is fine but toilet is not that clean. The floor in shower area is hurt my feet 😬

Great hotel in central China Town location in George Town. Room was slightly smaller than expected and smelt of damp when we first arrived, but with AC and extractor fan on it went away quickly. Mezzanine bed was comfy, hot shower and lots of spaces for bags under bed! Fairly quiet hotel with not many comings and goings. Free washing machine to use on site. Cafe downstairs also.

I have a great experience by staying here. The room is so comfortable and suitable for anyone who search for budget hotel. The staff also very nice and helpful to me. They provide enough info for me to explore other place near my stay. Will visit this hotel again soon :)

A hotel with a great concept with cafe at the ground floor, bar at the first floor and also not many hotels are pet friendly. However the bar doesn’t really open anymore. I opted this because of the pet friendly availability. it’s sad to see a great concept dies off because of the lack of effort in up keeping. The room is okay but it is the only pet friendly hotels which allows you to bring your pets without extra charges. And the location of the hotel is at the town which is very convenient for you to go anywhere. There are lots of nice cafe nearby and there is the food street as well as bars in walking distance at night. The male staff is very friendly and helpful when you ask for something.
