Older style hotel that needs a good clean and a bit of a renovation. We spent 5 days here. The grounds and resort elements are very good and well maintained. The rooms and other areas inside the hotel are a bit rough and run down for something under the Shangri La brand. Good location and plenty to keep kids entertained though.

Stayed in the balcony room with the pool and sea view. Excellent service. The on-site massages were very good too. The location is near enough local shops and food places too. You don’t need to eat every meal inside. If I could change anything it’s the pool. The pool is not as big as it looks in pictures. But overall very good experience

Delightful experience here as always. All staff were friendly and professional. The room was spacious and comfortable. My only minor issue was that there were a couple of faint stains on the bed linen and bath towels on the first night but were thankfully replaced with completely spotless ones the next day. Went here for my father's parent company annual dinner. For a second time actually. I have no complaints at all but the room feels dusty. But it is still manageable and I enjoyed my stay here. I have always loved the scenery at the back of this hotel. The breakfast buffet also tastes good and offers a lot of food varieties.

We stayed in a family room, which was nice and big. The bed in the main bedroom was HUGE - basically 2 queen sized beds pushed together. The decor was simple and the hotel is quite old, but impeccably clean. The pools are very nice and well maintained and it's right on the beach. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nice hotel. A bit old but well kept. The have two wings, one beach front and the other across the road. We were not aware when booking online using one of those hotel booking sites. The sites never highlight there are two separate wings. Our TV was faulty, did not complain as we only spent one night here. Room is spacious and clean. My first time here. The view is great! Room and bed is comfortable. Location a bit more secluded but you have everything you need around the resort. You can have street stalls to fast food outside the resort. Breakfast spread is good.

Decent room with necessities, but no kettle. The room I got had no window, but the rooms with windows have a walking corridor outside, so there'll be no privacy if you open it. Stayed here two nights. Great service from the 2 siblings who run the place. They have limited car parking in a field across the road. The rooms are simple but functional, totally fine to sleep. There are a few local restaurants nearby but for a wider choice you have to travel 10 mins to Batu Ferringhi. Fine if you have a car and there's no traffic, but a bit of a headache on the weekend.

I booked 2 family rooms for 3 night. One of the room don't have air-conditioner for 2 days and provided us standing fan only. We have asked for refund but they refused to give.

The best hotel I've stayed in, for such a good price! The staff are wonderful and kind. The place is super, super clean. Even smells nice! The balcony is beautiful and looks magical, great place to spend time. The rooms are spacious and decorated well! There's even a homely lounge to hang out in. :)

Sea view is amazing from these apartments. 4-6 person can stay easily. So a good option for bachelor's and Familys as well. Beach is just walking distance. Night market is also nearby. Highly recommend.

My family and i always stay here if we spend time at Batu Feringghi. Everybody will enjoy the environment and kids happy swimming at the pool. Easy access to food area, Petronas and Feringghi night market.

The apartment is managed by 2 parties, one by owners (through airbnb) and others are through the apartment management (through agencies - which is available through posting on travel sites). Apartment is a bit rundown, 5 min walking distance to the beach and there is no enough parking during peak season. Only owner and their visitor can use the property (by paying rm10 every day). We are renting a privately owned apartment and not one of the hotel apartments - the difference being maintenance, air con, fans, equipped kitchen and quality furniture. The hotel apartments are in fairly bad shape and not very appealing.

This is a very good apartment style hotel/homestay. The apartment i was at had 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, leaving room, dining room, balcony, kitchen with all the furnitures and appliances one needs such as bed, sofa, tv, wifi, aircons, washing machine etc. The view is also very nice and very windy all the time. The price is very much affordable as well. Highly recommended!
