Reviews
It's right next to Little India.
There are a few questions for your reference:
1. There is no enclosure for taking a shower in the bathroom, and the shower water will cover the entire toilet. After taking a shower, the entire toilet floor is wet.
2. There is a door in the bathroom, and I don’t know where it leads to. What’s more terrible is that the door is unlocked on the other side. It means that the other side can break into the bathroom at any time. We didn’t encounter it during the days we stayed, but I always felt weird
3. We were a group of three and booked a triple room. Check-in was normal, but we were asked to pay an extra fee for 2 people when we checked out. The reason was that we only used one person’s name to book. We didn’t encounter such a problem in the second hotel. I also consulted local friends in Malaysia, and there was no such statement. The hotel owner is Chinese, so people only cheat Chinese people? ? ?
East Indies Mansion is a beautifully converted hotel from a house with over two hundred years of history, and the building itself carries an incredible sense of heritage. Our four-day, three-night stay was not only comfortable but also incredibly heartwarming.
Although I typically stay at five-star hotels, I have to say this place matches, if not surpasses, any five-star hotel I’ve been to. It was spotlessly clean—I couldn’t find a single speck of dust. Despite the slightly mismatched proportions of the curtains to the windows and having only one bathroom in the room, the level of comfort more than makes up for these small quirks.
Ms. Anna, who welcomed us, was impressively efficient and kind. The two other staff members, both Indian, one male and one female, were equally friendly and accommodating. Lastly, the location couldn’t be better. Almost all of the key attractions are within walking distance, and even if you need transportation, it’s just a short ride away.
You really need to experience it for yourself to truly appreciate how wonderful this place is. I cannot recommend it enough—it’s a fantastic experience!
