polite and helpful. Rooms are comfy and in tip top condition. Breakfast is good but not as good as the one i had in June during my previous visit. For Rm85, I think I had a better deal outside. The pool is great although quite crowded. The location is superb and jusr a step away from the bustling Bintang Walk.
Loved the gym and pool, though the pool got a bit crowded when I did my laps in the evening. It was really pleasant to work out in a gym surrounded by greenery, sunlight, and views of KL skyline. Bonus: tried out yoga for the first time at free yoga sessions during weekends :)
Breakfast buffet was pretty good, with a generous spread. My favourites were the rice congee and fresh pisang emas (a local species of banana that is sweet and tasty). The local kuih were not as good as what we could buy at street vendors. I didn’t like any of the drinks (tried teh tarik, latte and soya milk), so I just drank plain water.
First, I found a lizard in my room and had to wait about 30 minutes before anyone came to help remove it — this made me feel extremely uncomfortable.
Then, at around 12 midnight, someone was hammering and drilling into the wall. This was very inconsiderate and disruptive, especially at that hour. I called the front desk for assistance, but no one picked up.
The bedsheets also had many dirty stains, which felt unhygienic and gross. The toilet shower water pressure was extremely weak, making it very inconvenient to bathe.
To make matters worse, during my previous stay, the toilet flooded so badly that water reached outside the wardrobe area.
Overall, both visits were disappointing, and the lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and service is unacceptable for a well known international hotel.
