Loved the room design except for one thing - the wardrobe is in the same room as the bathroom and toilet, meaning no one can grab their clothes to change if someone is using the bath/shower or toilet.

Service staff are friendly and helpful, and housekeeping pretty efficient with requests. Pool has quite a few cabanas and isn't usually crowded.

PARKROYAL Collection offers the best value in Kuala Lumpur with its location, room size, amenities, and service. It's the only hotel that I choose to stay in Kuala Lumpur.

Location: Prime spot in the heart of Bukit Bintang and lots of shopping malls and F&B choices. Location is unbeatable.

Room: Clean and huge room with modern decor. Fantastic view of Bukit Bintang and the famous junction.

Service: Phone request for items are always delivered within 15-20 minutes. Helpful lobby staff always accommodating to our requests too.

Special mention to Front Office Manager Faizal for going above and beyond to take care of us, and made our stay memorable and enjoyable.

Outstanding stay. Very comfortable Premier King Room. Bed was firm and supportive. Large enough for my whole family with 2 little kids. Large space with sitting area with a nice sofa. Bathroom facilities work perfectly. Only issue is the placement of the toiletries - the shampoo, conditioner & shower gel are placed too high and makes it very difficult to reach especially for those who are shorter.
Buffet breakfast was fabulous. Huge variety, very good quality - Indian, vegetarian, Chinese, Malay, Japanese, Western type foods with a wide selection of drinks like cappuccino, latte, teh tarik, fruit juices, which was amazing.
Service staff were outstandingly good. Very polite and obliging. All were very knowledgeable and proactive in helping us especially with our two little kids. When we had dinner on our last night, we asked for pizza which was not on the menu and we got a beautiful Hawaiian pizza that tasted really good.
There's only 1 restaurant in this hotel although the food is good. But I think having a second restaurant would be good.
The pool was amazingly good. Just the right depth for my kids to play in with a very beautiful decor around the pool. Despite being in the centre of the city, the pool area was a peaceful oasis in the middle of the madness.

This is our second visit since 2014. Never disappoints me. Apart from good location, service was great, from check-in to room service to check-out. We enjoyed the breakfast. We are a big fan of Park Royal and the standard is the same across their hotels. We love their sleep ritual and spa experience was superb! Thank you. Look forward to stay here in the near future!

Would have given them 5 stars, if not for the lacklustre housekeeping. Check-in staff were very friendly and welcoming. They prepared my connecting rooms in advance, even though they always state it’s subject to availability. Front office was very responsive to requests. Hotel is very beautiful and well-renovated. Beds are comfortable and huge. The king size is bigger than a regular king size - can fit a couple plus a child or two. Double double rooms can fit 4 kids. They have recycling bins in the rooms and the best part is the filtered water tap, where you can refill your bottles. Great location, great food at the lemon tree cafe downstairs. Security was great too, they spotted my child roaming around and took care of him.

Now for the housekeeping issues that lost a star. Toilet stank upon arrival, because of a faulty flush, which wasn’t reported by housekeeping. It was fixed as soon as I reported it. Shower area had mouldy corners. There was a gross sticky thing stuck on my shower knob and I had to scrape it off myself. Broken glass wasn’t cleaned up properly. We had to manually sweep them up when we were back. Couch was definitely dirty, because we had rashes every time we sat on it. Half-used bar soap and vanity set were discarded, very wasteful. I didn’t even dare open a new bar soap because I didn’t want them to discard it again. Towels hung nicely were washed - common issue in many hotels. We try to be environmentally-friendly, but they don’t really care.

Overall, it’s a great place to stay. Very affordable too. Just wish that housekeeping could do better. I’d still consider coming back in future.
