Reviews
I stayed at this hotel for 2 days, and it was a terrible experience from start to finish. There was no hot water in the entire hotel, despite reporting it to the night staff — who surprisingly did not inform the morning shift at all. The staff told me there were no technicians on duty because the hotel is running on low occupancy, which is unacceptable.
The shower heads were faulty, and the switch between shower and tap didn’t work in most rooms. I was moved to a couple of different rooms to find hot water, but the second room didn’t even have a refrigerator. The AC was almost nonexistent, towels were torn and poor quality, and rooms didn’t even lock properly.
To make matters worse, the hotel did a room makeover without my permission, which added to the inconvenience. Overall, the quality of service and facilities was far below what I expected for the price. I strongly advise looking for a better hotel within this budget.
It would be appreciated if the service could last until the end time.
I didn’t really enjoy the breakfast — the taste and variety weren’t to my liking.
Also, the cleanliness of the room and bathroom was below my expectations.
Overall, not a terrible experience, but not a place I would return to.
When I entered my room, I noticed that there wasn’t even a single complimentary bottle of water, which is something every hotel I’ve stayed at usually provides. Then I requested an iron because I wanted to press my shirt, and they handed me a burnt iron — it was clearly damaged and visibly scorched. It’s hard to understand why any hotel would offer such an item to a guest.
When I went back to the reception to ask for another iron, they first told me there was no other one available. The next day, when I asked again, they said they would bring a replacement to my room, but they never did. I ended up taking my shirt to a nearby laundry service to have it ironed.
Additionally, the floor in my room was sticky and clearly not properly cleaned.
Overall, I am very disappointed with the service and the lack of basic hospitality standards.
The Rooms are dirty, AC barley works, housekeeping is horrible, they intentionally don’t put towels until you call someone to bring towels and tip them, Breakfast is horrible, i can’t express how horrible the food is in every possible way.
The bed is noisy and uncomfortable, they barley change them, TV doesn’t work, the the most important thing is the KEY that always doesn’t work, you have to go every day to reception to fix the key.
The management is very bad and i don’t recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.
The staff, both at the reception and restaurant, was very accommodating and helpful. Thank you!
The room was spacious and the bathroom amenities were acceptable. One suggestion is to retire some of the old towels; some were frayed at the edges.
Disingenuous hotel service that tried to swap our room to a smaller one sneakily. Only gave excuses of needing to move another guest out of our room when confronted at front desk. No partial refunds entertained.
Interestingly, reviews here are 4-5 star when they are given by users with Indian names. Either they are paid reviews or they treat Indians better since the Hotel Management is Royal Titan Group, helmed by Indians.
If you really want to risk it, I suggest using a credit card with a chargeback policy you can depend on. This was the only bad part of our trip to Oman.
