Hotel Binkowski

Too many people in bath robes. It's like a Moomin convention

We stayed as a group of few families. Overall unpleasant place and we will definitely not be going back. Staff Except the manager who had to get involved in one matter, very unprofessional. Receptionists are very ignorant, not willing to help or answer basic questions. Rooms Basic but nice and comfortable. Cleaned every day. Views - we did not even know it was acceptable to build a room facing blank wall or water park slides. We were shown few alternative rooms and most of them in one wing of the hotel were like that. It was shocking and partially ruined or stay. Restaurant Food was fine. Staff very rude and unprofessional. For example, they could take one plate from a table full of empty dishes. Some were on their mobiles most of the time and gossiping (or even swearing - we know Ukrainian language and could understand what they were saying about the guests. Really disgusting!). Pool Too busy - every day in the morning there were busses arriving from different places bringing kids. It looks they were letting too many people in and the space got crowded immediately every day. It was good for kids, as they could not go too crazy in such crowd. Spa Good size. In our opinion it is missing the intimacy. It was also too loud in the evenings, with drunk people being let to already overcrowded sauna for sauna sessions.

I had lunch at this local hotel today (we live in Kielce), in the "Glamour" restaurant. They served me a Black Angus Steak from frozen & it had gone cold.

I lett the whole steak, informed the waitress it tasted like it wasn't fresh, she confirmed "oh yes, it was from frozen" I couldnt eat & had expected it to be removed from my bill, it wasn't.

It's quite sad because the starters were not bad, prawns & chorizo were good & herring was also very well presented & had plenty of fresh ingredients & taste. Why in the world would a quality hotel & restaurant sell fillet steak from frozen.. it was awful.

And not removing the steak which I had taken one bite from, from my invoice was insulting & poor service.

Pool complex is fantastic my kids love it and the chicken strips in the pool cafe are awesome! We have been to Binkowski 20+ times with our family for events & to use the pool. We probably will not be eating in the restaurant again.

If I want a good quality FRESH steak I'll go to Rynek11, Si Senor or Zolty Slon for the same price.
