Reviews
Currently it's state is bad. Don't know where to start. We've spent there a week. Room itself, despite showing massive wear and tear in every single corner - wasn't worst part.
Overall this hotel gives "barely surviving" vibes.
- Water in shower - barely warm. Also smells like swamp water.
- "Gym" is funny, in abandoned building, you can not even find same weight pair of dumbbells - walking to the gym through rotten wooden floor.
- Pool area is OKAY-ish; pool towels have been dead for couple years now, wooden floor around the pool should have been replaced 5 years ago;
- All the garden screams for more water because everything is dry. We've saw staff watering plants ONCE in whole week;
- Staff itself, although they are polite and do their job - they are not very helpful;
- Laundry service is extremely expensive;
- Breakfast choices are very basic and very limited (and ffs please change pans for eggs, because they have been done for 5 if not more years already). All fried eggs through the 7 days were always burned and it's not an issue with the cook.
- Location is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but if you rent scooter - it's not an issue all best restaurants and beaches are within 10-20 minutes away.
- Good things, quite large resort, has sort of spa, bar in the evening, has shuttle to beach, you can rent a scooter from reliable company directly to hotel. Pretty much that's all the good I can say.
- If you are considering booking this hotel - try their page directly. Managed to save almost a hundred euros not using booking/agoda.
The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The pool area was nice but the gym was a bit disappointing as it didn’t have a treadmill and was quite small.
The WiFi in the resort was fast and reliable. We were able to do video calls without any problems.
The location of the hotel is a little far to walk anywhere but if you have a bike you can get around the island very easily.
We would stay here again if we return to Koh. Chang!
The Thai food that they serve in breakfast are really good for both of the day that I’m staying. It’s not that fancy it’s only to selection, but both of them are good and it’s rotating so not the same food every day.
The room is quite big and maybe because this is a rainy season so the price is very reasonable.
Also, the service are excellent. All of their staff are very nice, polite, and helpful.
To some of I am actually quite impressed with this place.
The only drawback is the lackluster restaurant – while the food is tasty, dining in doesn't quite cut it. Also, during breakfast buffet, the food often runs out and isn't replenished promptly, which can be a tad irritating. Aim for an early 8 am start to beat the rush and hopefully snag a better experience.
“Hidden Gem”
This resort is a great value. The location is not right on the water but you’re closed to everything if you have a car or scooter. The place is really peaceful. The resort is very well maintained and the rooms are cleaned thoroughly every day. The staff is great too and breakfast was surprisingly good. The food at the resort’s restaurant is also fairly priced and pretty good, I just wish the menu had more options. The only negative thing I have to say is about the gym, it really needs to be remodeled and new equipment needs to be added.
