The hotel is designed in modern Oriental style. The territory is small, but cozy. Gorgeous tropical garden. Recommended for solo travelers and couples without children.

Location: 8 km from Samui airport and 2 km from Chaweng beach, in the North-Eastern part of Samui, on the beach of Chaweng Noi beach.

Consists of five 2-storey buildings, the nineteen 1-storey cottages and nineteen 1-storey villas.

Total area: 37230 m2.

Only 74 rooms.

Beach: public, sandy beach 20 m away, the first coastal line. Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses, towels – free of charge.

We booked a beachfront bungalow and it was honestly so amazing. It was spacious with a separated sitting/lounging area from the bedroom. It had 2 showers (1 indoor and 1 outdoor) plus 2 sinks and full bath. There was a sitting area outside plus 2 reserved chaise lounges that were well shaded by the umbrella and numerous trees. We stayed in 102 and it was honestly the best of the 4 beachfront bungalows. The service at the pool bar/restaurant was so attentive. They have 2 happy hours every day with delicious lunch specials. The beach off the location was fine white sand and never crowded. Having walked the length of Chaweng Beach, it was the best location. Can’t wait to return!

The resort is too old and all the towels and sheets and the tea machine must be renewed it's too dirty I think it's never been renewed since the resort opened 🤔🤔😷😷😷😷😷

We stayed here for our honeymoon, spending 6 nights and I cannot say enough positive things about this place!
The property is stunning, with well manicured gardens and a beautiful beach front. The rooms are luxurious and clean, and there are great amenities like a beautiful pool, bar, breakfast and more.
The staff is so kind and accommodating, and do everything possible to help you have the best stay, including organizing day trips.
Overall this was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend!

I was here for 4 days and I have to say it was a really good stay. I was in a bungalow. The rooms are nicely furnished, the hotel is right on the beach with a pool. The food tastes good and is beautifully presented.

Really huge rooms, very helpful and friendly staff, decent breakfast options and nice area with a few restaurants, pharmacy, bike rental 7eleven etc right at the entrance.
Unfortunately the sea was rough during our stay so only went to the beach once and would be perfect in calmer seas, pool was also adequate.
Thing to note is the resort is on a hillside and wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues.

The grounds are huge and beautifully kept.

Large infinity pool, beachfront resort. Full service restaurant and bar.

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Awesome staff and concierge is on point, will hook you up with tours and any discounts. Normally not much to mention about hotel food, but they have some great chefs, and from what I have seen a great kitchen staff too. Rooms are amazing. Hope I can come back and have the same experience... if not better. If you want something really different and unique, get the Green Curry Chicken Pizza it's banger.

Nice clean place, on its own beach. You can enjoy the food there, or walk along the beach to try other places. Pex and Toom were lovely and so amicable, made our whole trip a success. Knowing where to
Go and helped us hire a driver for a day of exploration.

Checkin and checkout were very easy and all in all we’ve had a happy honeymoon in Samui. I give them my warmest recommendations, and I will probably be back; if my travels take me to Samui again.

Sunset Dinner on a Quiet Beach. We really enjoyed our stay at New Star. This resort offers a quiet and private setting for travellers preferring to avoid the backpack party crowd. For us, the sunset BBQ seafood dinner we enjoyed on the beach at was just amazing and one of our favorite memories. The beatiful setting and caring staff made each relaxing day better than the last. Highly recommended.

Delicious Food and Great Staff New Star has really great food with many dining options morning, noon and night. You can enjoy first class meals in your room, in one of many different dining areas, or right on the beach! The complimentary breakfast buffet is especially good. A big thanks to the staff who made sure all of our needs were taken care of always. They really care and it shows.
