Where to stay with kids in Khao Lak

We had a pool access room this time which was lovely. So nice to have a quieter swim in the afternoon after the mayhem and fun of the slides etc. This was our second visit and we had a great time

They could make small adjustments such as not putting all the kids plates and cutlery underneath the drinks station at breakfast creating quite a bit of congestion but obviously that’s just a small detail

An amazing hotel with great staff. The restaurants are just great The pools and the beach are so much fun The spa ....oh what a relaxing place I just wanna go again and again Love it ❤️

We have an enjoyable stay in The Sands. This is a kids friendly hotel, my son love the water park, pool, room. Environment very nice, breakfast have a lot of choice

overall is excellent. however breakfast dining room for family, there are only Western food. I would like to eat local food, ข้าวยำ ขนมจีน ka

In 3 months travelling Vietnam and Thailand, this was by far the best hotel we've stayed in - it felt like an unexpected 2nd honeymoon! Staff were wonderful, pools were amazing - as it was low season we had the hotel pools almost to ourselves most days

The pool at the beach did not have enough sunloungers and drinks were expensive

I chose to stay here and celebrate my birthday here at the age of 28 and here they arranged a welcome bed and sang a birthday song, served a cake warmly, the breakfast was lovely and very delicious

Here, you can walk to Nang Thong Beach and there is a swimming pool overlooking the beach. If anyone wants to stay, I recommend Khao Lak Seaview. You will definitely be impressed like me

The prices in the pool are ridiculously expensive. For a small beer 33 cl 120 bath and a bit further on you pay for a 1/2 liter bottle 100 bath this also in a restaurant terrace on the beach

We walked up to the main road every night (10 mins) to restuarants and bars there instead. Komodo dragons roam the hotel grounds. Minor room for improvement at the beach, but a wonderful stay - thank you!

This place is very suitable for a family vacation. The staff are lovely, provide good service, and take care of every customer. Everyone is smiling and cheerful, especially the receptionist who gives a warm welcome

This is our second time staying at this hotel. We really like the location, the grounds, the incredibly friendly staff. There are several children's pools for the youngest guests. The room is a bit old, but clean

Pools are various and the beach just in front easily accessible. Beach has some flies but we experienced similar at other more upscale hotels in the area as well

Very pleasant stay overall with great surrounding and amenities. The water flow was a bit weak for the shower. Restaurant food might be better out of the hotel but it’s good enough during a rainy lazy day

Most memorable and enjoyable was the table tennis which we used for free every night! Awesome!

We spent hours floating around the pool sipping a few gins! The breakfast is really amazing, so so much variety. We enjoyed all the food in the restaurants. The staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly

There are so many restaurants to choose from and an Infiniti pool as well. December is high season and very expensive. I recommend coming in April for a really good deal

We loved this so much we are due back again in a few days! We don't normally go back to the same hotel twice but this place has made us break our rule. We absolutely loved our holiday here and can't wait to get back

Upon arrival, I was served a coconut ice cream and then in the room there was a variety of snacks waiting for me. They also replenished my fruit bowl every day. This is one of the best properties I have stayed at

It was a great hotel. Particularly the activities and amenities have great varieties. The cooking class, with Chef Kapoof and hostess Prunnie organizing is very nice and the food is delicious. Will go again.

I have notice there are 2 type of zone, pool access zone which perfect for fun type of vacation, if you want a bit more peace look for villa otherwise it could overwhelm you wit a lot going on in the pool area

I highly recommend satisfying here if you have the choice. One I saw and did was get bed and breakfast as there are plenty of local restaurants in short walking distance. Not just the road but along the beach too

Gorgeous hotel/villa resort on the beach with perfect views, amazing food and fantastic facilities. (gym,swimming pool, games area etc) staff members are all humble and friendly and always happy to help

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are a good size but the villa’s are a bit small. Lovely little pool attached to the villa’s and 2 good community pools

Absolutely gorgeous beach, not crowded at all, amazing and super friendly staff that made us and our kids feel very welcome. Hotel area is very nice with a pool just by the beach with two kids pools

If I had to find a fault then I would say that the AirCon in dining sitting area was very poor and ineffective. evena after requests it remained hot in side

Also the lobby itself in not airconditioned - it can be very warm and uncomfortable with mosquitoes around, It would be great if at least the main lobby is airconditioned. Linen and towels were very good

Excellent for full relaxing time in the resort. Cost of meals for Half or full board is very steep as are the SPA charges

Well kept and with many many facilities. Veyy helpful and responsive staff. Huge beach front - excellent for bathing

Secondly, while the grounds were huge there weren't activities like yoga classes, free bicycles, nature walks for the guests. But overall it was a very relaxing and enjoyable place to spend a few days

First as a vegetarian there were very few options in the resort for a vegetarian lunch and dinner

Close to the beach , lots of pools and restaurants on site and as usual the staff are very good. The family part of the hotel is showing its age a bit, but I think that's reflected in the price
