Where to stay with kids in Khao Lak

We recently stayed at Avani+ Khao Lak for three nights in the Two Bedroom Family Pool Suite and we are thrilled to share our experiences. The customer service at this resort is superb

We booked a stay for 4 nights at Avani + In the pool suit, our party was 5 people (2 adults, 3 children) Our check-in experience was pleasant and very quick, we were offered a cold sweet ice tea drink the minute we arrived

The suite was spacious, clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The private pool added an extra touch of luxury and relaxation

) As adults,our stay was excellent as well, the pools were nicely designed in a green environment. The room was spacious, the pillows and the mattress were soft and comfy

The hotel is big, many pools for kids and adults, restaurants and cafes, convenience store on site

It's a huge property, they even have a mega pond full of fish that are fed daily (you can join in on the feeding fun too) It's located perfectly; the local shops are a short 15min stroll up the street, you'll find atm's, souvenir shops and 'Moddan' where we had massages daily and I got my hair braided twice! If you're keen to keep walking there's a myriad of shops to choose from for either souvenirs...

We've had a wonderful 7 night stay here, it's clean, peaceful and the service is amazing! Highly recommended if you're looking to relax and rest the body and mind while working on your tan

Nice hotel, vkusni Breakfast, good territory hotel on territoroii is a large tennis court, Golf, a gym and outdoor chess. Very large and comfortable rooms, clean large private beach☺

Peaceful and relaxing both restaurants have good food for there price point staff try hard very polite

My only real complaint is the staff that make up the rooms forget something every day sometimes no towels at all or just missing facewashers, missing pool towels in room or no soap for 7 days little things like that

While in my experience many never used occupied beds! Savagery! The second point, which is even more surprising is the lack of soul on the beach. Yes of course he has, but not on the beach, and the pool and villas

The Hotel is mainly a family hotel. The housekeeping is sometimes made and sometimes not, I think it depends on the mood of the room maids. Service at the seaside and main restaurant is very, very nice and friendly

There are areas that suit adults only, with a large pool and swim up bar. The breathtaking beach is just steps away. The family facilities include a splash area and waterside. There are activities to suit every age group

There is also a shuttle available for 50 baht per person to various locations at set times. This is a family-friendly resort, although kids under 16 were not allowed in the main pool by the beach

A lovely resort, with friendly staff. Pools were lovely and clean, the slide was very popular! The rooms were modern & clean. The bed was a little firm for me personally & pillows too soft

Everything is clean, there is shade from beautiful trees around the pools. The toddler water fun part has rubbery ground so the little ones don’t slip. Rooms are spacious and modern, we also liked how quiet they are

Has family and adults sections. Plenty of activities for children and adults to be occupied whole day. Huge pool running throughout the property. Staff and management are top notch

Amazing spot for a holiday! The facilities are incredible, and there’s so much to do during the day with all the activities they organize. The pool is massive and spread out, so it never feels too crowded, which is great

The kids had a blast, there are so many things to do for them that there were always entertained. Make sure you get a room with access to the pool so the kids can get out and swim

When I was back after the water sports, the charging cable was neatly tied. I also noticed there was a creative built towel look-alike elephant 🐘, slippers neatly arranged. I was touched by their thoughtful actions

The breakfast was the best iv ever seen in a hotel I had 3 a day 😆 Best view for sunset and lots of daily excursions to be taken up. All staff were extremely nice and helpful. Will be back within the next year

It’s so spacious, with a huge deck and an equally impressive bathroom, all beautifully maintained. The hospitality is always top-notch, and the breakfast is hands down the best I’ve ever had

The hotel itself is very large and beautiful. Very kid friendly with big pools, water slides, sport activities like darts and kaiaking. The private beach is amazing! Cocktails are yummy (but very expensive)

On our first day we ordered kids meal and the bread had black mold on it. The breakfast has huge selection but the birds were eating from the food that wasn’t covered…

Feel like another home... love this place friendly staff a lot of facilities and public area. Food was nice also designed was very good.

Lovely hotel,great staff can't do enough. The breakfast was outstanding,everything you could possibly want. Downside no entertainment in the evening

One thing to improve : cleaning the pools

Great location in Khao Lak as you can walk to plenty of restaurants in the calm little town. Hotel had two pools one of which was huge and slides for the kids

Need focus on cleaning, Room is nice sleep well, More verity on the breakfast, Swimming pool nice but need more activities! Most of impressions about this trip are staffs all provided service beyond expectations and warm welcome with smile greetings! My daughter is enjoy celebrated her birthday 🎂 enjoy the pool

Whilst the main pools closed at 6pm, we could continue to use your own private pool. With warm nights it was lovely being able to cool off later in the evening. Our room was provided with 2 beach towels

Buffet breakfast selection has a variety of options to select from. The villa was very spacious with your own private pool with 2 spa jets

We stayed in the Deluxe Pool Villa for 5 nights

Highly recommend the superior pool bungalows. There is also a separate breakfast location for guests staying at the pool bungalows. This restaurant is peaceful in the morning, overlooking the ocean

Stay was toward the end of September/October. Caught the tail end of Monsoon and although it was a bit overcast and rained on a few days, there was still plenty to do

Andreas and his team in the kitchen certainly worked their magic to create some amazingly tasty food. Throughout our holiday we was made to feel really welcome by all who worked here. Will hopefully come back again

🏖Holiday: Robinson Club Khao Lak is a beautiful resort. Located in a quieter part of Thailand, next to a national reserve

There are many activities at the resort including quizz, yoga, happy hour, evening activities and family games. If you are looking for adventure, hire a scooter and explore town

We arrived late at night and had some unexpected issues with rooms we had booked - our misunderstanding - but the staff we dealt with were wonderful, professional, polite and sympathetic

Great place for kids: kids club and a kids poo with a slide. The breakfast was a mix of international and thai cuisine. There was an egg station, a cereal station, a fruit station, etc

Absolutely gorgeous beach, not crowded at all, amazing and super friendly staff that made us and our kids feel very welcome. Hotel area is very nice with a pool just by the beach with two kids pools

Tiles are falling off and the pumps are probably not working properly as the water did not look or feel clean. If the pool areas were in good condition this place would definitely get a 4 star!

There is also another pool area more aimed at kids with a splash area. Only complaint I have is that both the pool areas are in pretty bad shape

There are areas “for adults” - if you want to spend time together without too much fuss - come here to one of the most comfortable villas with a swimming pool, jacuzzi, access to the Andaman Sea
