Where to stay with kids in Khao Lak

Really great resort for families. Beach, pools, activities for children and generally a nice, relaxed atmosphere.

The hotel is big, many pools for kids and adults, restaurants and cafes, convenience store on site

Very very nice hotel. Delicious food,quality alcohol. Beautiful grounds,good service,clean beach. Take rooms with pool you will not regret

My only real complaint is the staff that make up the rooms forget something every day sometimes no towels at all or just missing facewashers, missing pool towels in room or no soap for 7 days little things like that

It's a huge property, they even have a mega pond full of fish that are fed daily (you can join in on the feeding fun too) It's located perfectly; the local shops are a short 15min stroll up the street, you'll find atm's, souvenir shops and 'Moddan' where we had massages daily and I got my hair braided twice! If you're keen to keep walking there's a myriad of shops to choose from for either souvenirs...

We've had a wonderful 7 night stay here, it's clean, peaceful and the service is amazing! Highly recommended if you're looking to relax and rest the body and mind while working on your tan

We stumbled upon this resort while looking for a family-friendly option during low season, and it exceeded our expectations! The real winner here is the room layout - we had a pool-access family suite, which made it super convenient with two kids (2 and 7)

The family room setup was brilliant - kids got their own themed room with bunk beds while we had our space

The multiple pools were a massive hit - my 7-year-old couldn't get enough of the water slide, while the little one splashed happily in the shallow kids' pool

The best part? No waiting for anything - from restaurant tables to pool loungers. Would definitely recommend for families looking for a peaceful escape without breaking the bank

Amazing spot for a holiday! The facilities are incredible, and there’s so much to do during the day with all the activities they organize. The pool is massive and spread out, so it never feels too crowded, which is great

We spent hours floating around the pool sipping a few gins! The breakfast is really amazing, so so much variety. We enjoyed all the food in the restaurants. The staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly

Only stayed 2 nights but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our rooms was modern with direct access to the pool which I can’t recommend enough. The restaurants and bars are great

There are so many restaurants to choose from and an Infiniti pool as well. December is high season and very expensive. I recommend coming in April for a really good deal

Our family spent 5 nights here in the 2 bedroom suite. The staff were all really helpful and courteous. We really enjoyed our time here

We loved this so much we are due back again in a few days! We don't normally go back to the same hotel twice but this place has made us break our rule. We absolutely loved our holiday here and can't wait to get back

If anything is broken or not working efficiently, staff fix it straight away. The food at the restaurant is the quality you expect from a 5 star hotel if not more. The portion sizes are generous and the service is fast

There are a few pools to choose from during the day with the beach close. There is a shuttle service to the nearest town free of charge from the hotel too which is great

She was extremely knowledgeable and spoke impeccable English which made communication so much easier. The rooms are luxurious and spacious equipped with everything you need to make your stay perfect

The rooms are quite nice, although a bit tired in places. The pool directly outside the room was quite a nice idea, although I noticed wet paper fragments floating around, which was a bit offputting

The front section has beach frontage with a pool and restaurant, the back section with is set individually amongst garden with a large pool with water slide and playground for children, then another pool for adults only

Whilst the main pools closed at 6pm, we could continue to use your own private pool. With warm nights it was lovely being able to cool off later in the evening. Our room was provided with 2 beach towels

Buffet breakfast selection has a variety of options to select from. The villa was very spacious with your own private pool with 2 spa jets

We had a small private courtyard with an outdoor shower. Our villa had a split system air-con for easy control of temperature. The bathroom was also spacious with a large bath, separate shower and toilet, and vanity area

I highly recommend satisfying here if you have the choice. One I saw and did was get bed and breakfast as there are plenty of local restaurants in short walking distance. Not just the road but along the beach too

Gorgeous hotel/villa resort on the beach with perfect views, amazing food and fantastic facilities. (gym,swimming pool, games area etc) staff members are all humble and friendly and always happy to help

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are a good size but the villa’s are a bit small. Lovely little pool attached to the villa’s and 2 good community pools

Highly recommend the superior pool bungalows. There is also a separate breakfast location for guests staying at the pool bungalows. This restaurant is peaceful in the morning, overlooking the ocean

There are many activities at the resort including quizz, yoga, happy hour, evening activities and family games. If you are looking for adventure, hire a scooter and explore town

This is a fabulous resort in a very beautiful setting, with lovely friendly staff who greet guests with a warm smile and nothing is too much trouble

We arrived late at night and had some unexpected issues with rooms we had booked - our misunderstanding - but the staff we dealt with were wonderful, professional, polite and sympathetic

There are areas “for adults” - if you want to spend time together without too much fuss - come here to one of the most comfortable villas with a swimming pool, jacuzzi, access to the Andaman Sea
