Hotels with beach in Khao Lak

We walked up to the main road every night (10 mins) to restuarants and bars there instead. Komodo dragons roam the hotel grounds. Minor room for improvement at the beach, but a wonderful stay - thank you!

Pity that you could not sit anywhere to smoke - there was a concrete square you had to go and stand on, to the side and tables/ chairs at the beach were poor quality and very uncomfortable

Pro: - nearby a good beach break - friendly staff - good price / quality ratio Con: - might be outdated for some people - no taxi or shuttle service, only to airport - bar at pool opens at 11:00, a bit late for that second coffee - level of English of staff could be improved

In 3 months travelling Vietnam and Thailand, this was by far the best hotel we've stayed in - it felt like an unexpected 2nd honeymoon! Staff were wonderful, pools were amazing - as it was low season we had the hotel pools almost to ourselves most days

A very lovely location and super gardens. Outstanding selection of Swimming Pools and a lovely beach location. Breakfast choices were also good with excellent Egg choices and food selection. Staff were brilliant.

The pool at the beach did not have enough sunloungers and drinks were expensive

We enjoyed that there were two happy hours! Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel as it is on a more private beach but only a 10 minute drive from Khao Lak town

The rooms are gorgeous and kept clean daily. We were constantly bringing sand in from the beach and the staff did a great job of cleaning every day

Firstly, the room we thought we booked didn’t have a bath, despite the website saying it did. We had a deluxe room, it was a large room

We spoke to staff about this but found they didn’t want confrontation.  Also ******** was wafting through on a regular basis, again found it difficult to get anything done about this. The pool towels were old, stained

We would have to call in the afternoon as our room hadn’t been cleaned.   The pool area was nice, right on a lovely beach…this was until other guests starting smoking

Two adults with a busy european life, and what we got was way more than we asked for. Advice when going there, just try to be patient with the stuff, what they lack in English proficiency, they have it in good heart

I miss sentido graceland sooo much! I learned so much! If you are looking for a place to reconnect to the sea. to yourself! This is the place. Peaceful, warm, green! Love it! I came with my boyfriend

Be careful when renting a bike or exchanging money, look in more than 2 places and see if the prices match. don't make plans, go there and just do what you're feeling like doing when you wake up

Maybe mosquitoes will be around, bring your repellent. Look for restaurants far away from the crowd you'll get ridiculously cheap prices

It was a great hotel. Particularly the activities and amenities have great varieties. The cooking class, with Chef Kapoof and hostess Prunnie organizing is very nice and the food is delicious. Will go again.

We loved this so much we are due back again in a few days! We don't normally go back to the same hotel twice but this place has made us break our rule. We absolutely loved our holiday here and can't wait to get back

Upon arrival, I was served a coconut ice cream and then in the room there was a variety of snacks waiting for me. They also replenished my fruit bowl every day. This is one of the best properties I have stayed at

A true five star paradise! Tucked away in its own location about one and a half hours from Phuket. There are so many activities at the resort and the breakfast buffet is incredible

There are so many restaurants to choose from and an Infiniti pool as well. December is high season and very expensive. I recommend coming in April for a really good deal

There is also a reasonably priced spa where you can get massages for about $65-$90. I absolutely loved all of the amenities in the room, which are all very thoughtful

The staff are lovely, room clean and modern. Pool beach and restaurant are spot on and the breakfast was the best we have had on our 35 day road trip around Southern Thailand staying in 10+ hotels

Stunning resort in a beautiful beach location. Staff are all wonderful with delicious food. Rooms well appointed with very comfortable bed. There are also plenty of dining options close by.

Retro style buildings At the same time with the atmosphere of the garden and the landscape of the canal, which is surrounded by tropical trees in our house. I recommend coming and relaxing

What a wonderful experience my friends and I had. The setting was divine, the rooms comfortable, the staff bent over backwards to make our 10 day stay there as memorable as possible

I also enjoyed my yoga sessions and the highlight were the many daily swims in the private pool access pool as well as the large beach pool. We enjoyed the food throughout. I would certainly to recommend staying here

The hotel itself is long so the rooms are designed to blend into the environment without taking away from the natural charm. We stayed in the deluxe rooms with private pool access

Amazing 5* resort for a good price. There is an ATM about 15 minutes walk away. Two lovely bars on the beach that charge about 150 baht a meal. Laundry can be done for 80 baht

Very good beach hotel, surrounded by greenery. But it is a pity that guests ignore the Smoking ban on sunbeds and the hotel takes no action.

Nice and comfortable place, nice pool and beach , amazing staff, , 3 min driving from center of Koh lak. And all of this, in ridiculous price !

To improve: a few more sunbeds near the seafront pool. The gardeners should remove the deciduous leaves more frequently. The waste containers in the common areas emptied more often (never bad smells anyway)

A nice hotel for those who love nature and silence. Being there feels like being in a big tropical garden with all the unique plants, landscape and even a little bit of wildlife. Customer service is also amazing

The property overlooks a very beautiful bay with a free beach and the miracle is that it is very quiet: no nonsense like parasailing, jet skis, motorboats, street vendors. believe me, a paradise of beauty and tranquility

For lunch I recommend a Thai restaurant on the beach, leaving the resort about 150 meters to the right. The breakfast is international and made with more than decent ingredients

Robinson Khao Lak is a beautifully landscaped beach resort 1. 5 hours north of Phuket International Airport. It's "out of the way" of the heavily touristed Phuket island and that's the main reason I selected it

Our stay at Robinson the was great. It was the end of our trip with two sets of parents, and the perfect place to wind down and relax on a beautiful beach. The staff was excellent and made us feel immediately welcomed

Also the lobby itself in not airconditioned - it can be very warm and uncomfortable with mosquitoes around, It would be great if at least the main lobby is airconditioned. Linen and towels were very good

The biggest positives in our view: Staff, cleanliness, immaculate grounds, breakfast, gym/basketball/sports courts, and the great beach

You can also rent surfing gear right at the beach. All in all, even though this hotel is not the fanciest place around, it is still very nice and great value for money!

You have direkt beach access and they provide almost everything like slippers for the pool, a caddle in the boil water in the rooms and tea, free water and bottles to fill up in the floor at a dispenser to save Plastik

The bed was super-comfy as well! Although we would have preferred an ocean-facing room, we got a room facing the garden of a neighboring hotel, which was still nice and felt very private

The beach area seemed to be a bit neglected, but the beach itself is very nice with a lovely views and it attracts a number of surfers both in the morning and the afternoon

A good hotel near the beach. In the evening you can walk to cafes, markets. It is interesting to watch the tides: in the morning the lighthouse seems far out to sea, and by the end of the day you can walk to it

We loved the place. Nice location. Even during Songkran it was very quiet. Staff was attentive and very friendly. Food selection and quality could have been better, but knowing the present Covid situation it is adequate.

Great hotel! We upgraded our room to a separate bungalow upon arrival and did not regret it. Clean, beautiful surroundings, the hotel has its own sun loungers on the beach. There are three swimming pools

Antonios: A very nice and friendly little eatery right next to the access road to the Marriott. Pleasantly air conditioned, but not too cold. The Thai pizza is excellent, but insider tip are the different pasta dishes

Casa de La Flora has spoilt us on our 4 days, 3 nights stay. All of the staff has been incredible. Casa de La Flora located in a quiet area, next to the sea of course but however, the beach are not meant for swimming

No real beach in front of property, even though it does have an access the sea and very nice pool, there a couple of places 5min walk away with a beach and lounge chairs

plenty of breakfast choices and the location is right on a beautiful sandy beach. Last but not least, every single member of staff we met was sooo friendly and couldn't do enough for us

Beautiful pools and amazing beachfront resort. Unfortunately the staff at the restaurant is not very friendly. The chef in the morning never smiles and one of the server is not so kind

10 mins walk takes you to the beginning of Khao lak centre, recommend popping into Walkers Inn for a great value meal and get loads of advice from Andy the English owner and his wife who is the most amazing cook

Oh and a meal costs £3 so won't break the bank

What a completely faultless experience! My best friend and I booked to stay at The Haven through Luxury Escapes and from the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, our experience could not have been better

Everyday our rooms were cleaned, waters replenished and constantly we saw staff working around the resort to maintain this standard. There was not an iota of uncleanliness anywhere

She was travelling on her own and was a bit apprehensive at first. But, she thoroughly enjoyed herself, was made to feel very special and made some great friends with the staff
