- nearby a good beach break
- friendly staff
- good price / quality ratio

Con:
- might be outdated for some people
- no taxi or shuttle service, only to airport
- bar at pool opens at 11:00, a bit late for that second coffee
- level of English of staff could be improved.

Perfect place to either have a family holiday or to have a surf holiday, or even better, the two combined ;) the beach break is in front of the hotel and easily accessible with small but decent waves.
The hotel has a nice pool overlooking the beach and the rooms are big. Sure, no fancy stuff and it might be a bit outdated, but we didn’t mind as it was nice enough and clean.

The breakfast is good if you like thai food and eggs, so good enough for us.

The staff is super super friendly! Juan, you’re the best operation manager and we hope your hard work is also seen by management!

Recommendations for management:
It would be good if some staff members could improve their English.

Also a quick win: have a shuttle/taxi service for guests.

Need focus on cleaning, Room is nice sleep well, More verity on the breakfast, Swimming pool nice but need more activities!
Most of impressions about this trip are staffs all provided service beyond expectations and warm welcome with smile greetings!

We stayed in the Deluxe Pool Villa for 5 nights. The resort is in 2 sections.
The front section has beach frontage with a pool and restaurant, the back section with is set individually amongst garden with a large pool with water slide and playground for children, then another pool for adults only.

Buffet breakfast selection has a variety of options to select from.

The villa was very spacious with your own private pool with 2 spa jets. Whilst the main pools closed at 6pm, we could continue to use your own private pool. With warm nights it was lovely being able to cool off later in the evening. Our room was provided with 2 beach towels. We had a small private courtyard with an outdoor shower. Our villa had a split system air-con for easy control of temperature. The bathroom was also spacious with a large bath, separate shower and toilet, and vanity area. Villa was serviced each day. The bed whilst firm, but wasn't too uncomfortable. In all our Thailand and Asia travels, beds do typically tend to be in the firm side.

The resort is located just a short walk to and from the main street, so it was very tranquil.

There are plenty of choices on main street for food options. Bring the low season (July), they were renovating areas of the resort, but we didn't find it overly disturbing. We would very happily stay here again.

I really liked the hotel! We took the family residence, the room fully corresponds to the photo, very large and cozy. The location of these rooms was quite suitable - in the evening we went out onto the main street to have dinner in a cafe. The sea is exactly 550 meters away, but it wasn’t at all annoying to walk twice, or even three times a day. The breakfasts, however, were quite meager, but we didn’t leave hungry. The beach is the most convenient in all of Khao Lak!!! I highly recommend this hotel!

Great location in Khao Lak as you can walk to plenty of restaurants in the calm little town. Hotel had two pools one of which was huge and slides for the kids. Service was great and the breakfast we had each day had plenty of choice. Right on the beach and you could walk out to the lighthouse when the tide was out.
Perfect for families

Overall it was a great stay. We moved from a nearby hotel, and the price for this one was very promotional.
The staff is extremely nice, the breakfasts are also unique with huge selection.
They have large swimming pool at the back and a smaller one close to the beach.

The only minus is the rooms, the hotel is aging. It smelt mouldy in the room - we asked at the reception and they first sent service to clean it, but as it didn’t help much, they moved us to another room. It was a little bit better there but still we could smell something.

The massaging place at their beach was the worst we tried. Just go somewhere else if you want a decent massage.

Great ex(!)-luxory resort. Used to be one of the best but the whole resort is rather run down and has certainly seen better days. However current pricing reflects this, and you get best value-for-money around! Three very spacios and well-kept pools. WiFi had regular dropouts but this isn't particularly an issue today as you gave good 4G coverage. Avoid the restaurant at the beach, we had fried rice and a noodle soup which were neither freshly made nor tasty, serving stale cucumber slices and carrots with it. Better go to the main street where there is a choice of decent restaurants.
