It's located perfectly; the local shops are a short 15min stroll up the street, you'll find atm's, souvenir shops and 'Moddan' where we had massages daily and I got my hair braided twice!
If you're keen to keep walking there's a myriad of shops to choose from for either souvenirs, massages, bars and food ?
But what is truly strange - when you get to the beach, it's actually fenced off. You have to walk over a large storm drain with bad smells to access the beach. The beach is lovely and many small resorts nearby that have very nice look and feel.
In the end it is far more generic a place than you would be lead to believe.
