It's not a terrible location, but there are residential houses all around the hotel and it is not a destination resort.
The service is above par for Asia, but don't expect a server to walk to your beach chair around the pool and ask you if you need anything. You will have to initiate all interactions with staff. They have not come to me and checked if I needed anything. However, they are very responsive once you tell them you need something.
The breakfast was mediocre. I don't eat processed meats, so I stuck with the fruit and some traditionally Thai dinner options that I found delightful for breakfast. Phad See Ew Gai for instance. 😋
The pool is great and I enjoyed it immensely.
I can definitely see myself coming back here again for a nice relaxing weekend. Like all places here in thailand, once they start getting to know you they will relax a little bit more and you should get more traditional western hotel service.
They have a conference center here and I noticed two separate little conferences going on while I was here.

You get what you pay for. The cleanliness was ok but that’s about it. Staff completely uninterested when it comes to anything asides from their phones. Breakfast well sub-par; many things missing at 8:30 am but even though lots of staff present no one seemed to have the time to check. Restaurant slow and open when they feel like it. So called fitness room is a treadmill in a non-aircon office.

For anyone who comes to Phuket and wants to stay in a reasonably priced hotel with clean rooms, a pool, and a location outside of the city. The Pago design might be a good choice for you.
I have the opportunity to stay here during the weekend. After we check-in, my family asked the front desk about the time for breakfast because we have to check out early tomorrow morning and it happen to be before breakfast. Then the reception offers us to cooperate with the chef and prepare our breakfast box in advance, which is really nice.
We were lucky that we got the corner room with a wide balcony. The room is clean and not too stuffy. The bathroom was constructed open space without walls while the shower room and toilet are separated into a room. But the balcony does not keep much sound when children come out to play in the pool. There will be a noise that is quite loud.
In addition, the surrounding areas may not have many stores. Therefore, I recommend this place to people who have a car. There are many delicious restaurants a little bit further away. You can also visit the old town which is 4 kilometers away, which is quite close for people who have cars.

I am still in the hotel , I booked with agoda , my complain was service , service is really worst in Thailand , I have been Bangkok , services are awesome , in this hotel I have been bad experience in here , we arrive in hotel around 11 am , I want to check in early , they said I have to check in at 2 pm , so I asked them why , they said check in time is 2 pm , so I request early check in , one of the lady said I can't , so I rent scooter and go take lunch and come back around 1:50 pm , so I want to check in , a lady said I can't , I have to want until 2 pm , omg I have to wait 10 more mins and at 2 pm I told her to check in , she said OK and she just give me room key and she said there have your luagages , I said nobody send that luggages to my room , she said no , I have to drag all my luggage to my room , I never have been like this experience ever , I don't recommend this hotel , because we are coming for vacation and having fun , not like this kind of experience and sadness , stay away from here and be happy out there with other hotels with good services !!!

Comfortable clean rooms in a quiet area with nice views of Phuket, hot & cold water pressure plentiful, the cool pool is clean and well maintained, grounds and facilities quite tidy, restaurant meals and breakfast excellent, while the service is brilliant as well. The very courteous and ever helpful staff all made our recent stay really a great pleasure.

Horrible service and very rude staff
We stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights, the room service was not provided by the hotel even upon request. The air conditioning was not functioning in the rooms we were given.

Comfortable quiet hotel located outside Phuket Town. You are on the main thoroughfare so getting to almost anywhere in Phuket is simple. Minutes from downtown Phuket. If you visiting someone in hospital Mission and Vachira hospital is minutes down the street and the other 2 international hospitals are a short drive away. Restaurant is good. Internet is excellent.
