Over all I enjoyed my stay at the Kartal hotel and would stay there again if i return.
The staff are friendly and the location is great not far from the beach and surrounded by good restaurants and at a great price.
For the price the breakfast was a bonus but was quite basic but the outside seating and the pool area are excellent.
The hotel is privately owned and has a family feel to it, i felt safe there and they were lovely people.
The rooms are basic but a nice size but a winner for me was the balcony where you can hang your washed clothes out, the room also had a good fridge, air conditioning and the bathroom was very nice as well.
The rooms are not cleaned daily so your not getting clean towels everyday day but just ask if you need them no problem, i just hanged my towel on the balcony it was dried in 5 mins (i think its a waste of money cleaning them everyday anyway), the wifi was good and there was a table and chair that i could sit at when using my laptop.
So at the end of the day its an excellent budget friendly hotel in a great location, you might not be living in luxury but your have more money to spend at the local restaurants which is a winner for me as Turkish food is fantastic...

This hotel is nice and very clean. The single room has a little balcony. There are mini-fridge, electric kettle, TV, air conditioning in there. Everything works.
It would be good to add a pair of cups or glasses and some steaks of tea/coffee for a kettle in the room.
The bed is comfortable but pillows would be more soft.
The Otel Kartal is family business. Staying here I feel such a guest of friends.
Definitely this hotel deserves more than two stars.

Buffet breakfast is perfectly adequate, the room was clean and kept cleaned, swimming pool was clean and quiet. Location is great for beach, cafes, restaurants , if you are looking for a lovely quite Hotel, in a great location this fits perfectly, would certainly use again.
