I stayed at this hotel for my vacation and have mixed feelings about it. There were definitely some positives, but also significant areas for improvement.

What I liked:

The room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean, which made my stay pleasant.
The hotel is located very close to the sea, which was a big plus for me.
The water park was a lot of fun and great for families or anyone looking to relax and enjoy the water.
What I didn't like:

The food was a disappointment. It could have been much better, especially for the price. I've stayed in other hotels for less money, and the variety was greater, especially when it comes to seafood.
A major issue for me was the lack of respect towards Ukrainian guests. I came to Turkey hoping to hear Turkish music, but instead, the hotel played cheap Russian pop music throughout the property.
There were many Russian guests who behaved inappropriately, and the staff turned a blind eye, saying that those guests were paying customers and could do whatever they wanted. This behavior was especially noticeable during the hotel’s entertainment shows, where there was also an uncomfortable glorification of Russian culture. This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.
While the hotel is advertised as family-friendly, I noticed many elderly guests on the beach who constantly complained about children playing and making noise. If this is such a concern for them, I would suggest they consider booking an adults-only hotel instead of expecting families to quiet their kids in a family-oriented environment.
I was really disappointed by this experience, and I won’t be returning to this hotel again.

Our room was extremely cramped. We are a couple and asked for a double room which came with two single beds instead of a double bed. To enter the room you had to turn at an angle to enter. The resort has plenty to do. The staff are very helpful everywhere. The pools are very cold so i only braved 2 laps of the olympic pool. There is a sauna and 15 min complimentary massage.

Alanya is very beautiful

The rooms are big and clean, furniture is ok, but bathrooms need some treatement and refurbish because the shower spilled everywhere and the drain was mostly clogged. The schedule for the towel system is super annoying. Also a lot of calcium deposit on the chrome. The staff was excelent, i am only rewarding the hotel 4 instead of 3 stars because of how nice they were, don't have kids, but i admire the work they put for the halloween party for the children.

Food was bad, bad , bad… We were a big group of 16 people , 10 of us got sick. One of the children was hospitalized in Alanya hospital. The others .. we puked a lot and had an upset stomach and everything was from their kitchen. The hotel made mostly for Russians. They put only Kazakhs workers that speak only Russian and not even Turkish or English. A lot of entertainment only in Russian.Rooms need to be refreshed for 5-star hotel and need to be restocked with water every day. Bad memories from this hotel!!!

I was here for a one-week holiday with kids, and I can recommend this hotel without any doubts. The hotel is like a small town – you can spend your whole holiday without leaving it. Our room was big and had a great view of the sea. It was clean and tidy. The staff throughout the hotel was polite and helpful. From my perspective, the food was varied and quite good. Of course, there were better and inferior dishes, but everyone could find something to eat, and no one left the restaurant unhappy. The aquapark was amazing, as you can see in the pictures, and the kids were impressed. Every evening, there was a show on the main stage, and most of them were interesting. We left the hotel with only good memories.

This hotel is amazing. You got a spa, pools, bars, restaurants, even a whole aqua park! The food is amazing, the cocktails too. This is the best hotel I've ever been to. The rooms are spacious, cool and comfortable. Sadly, there's no garlic sauce. But still, 5 stars. The workers here are very nice.

Definitely not one of the best hotels in Turkey. No one speaks English, only Russian and Turkish, which is completely not OK. The animation was OK, but it was very difficult to understand what the program is and where exactly. We bought Ultra all-inclusive, but actually, there were only Turkish drinks. We found grants whiskey in only one bar and only on request. The WiFi is poor quality as well. The complex is big with 3 buildings from different price ranges, but everyone could use the amenities, and that's why you can hardly find a free sunbed around pools and on the beach at normal time. The beach is good but very overcrowded. The cleaning was very good, the food was good and our kids enjoyed the aquapark. The show programs were OK. Overall, I think you should not visit Lonicera hotels.

There are 3 Lonicera hotels in the same premises and the Resort and Spa is not close to the beach. We have booked our vacation in October but still we were positioned far from eachother and not facing the sea. We could see only the parking. No one speaks English in this hotel, only Russian and Turkish. Most of the guests are Russians, so maybe that's why. When we arrived, no one explained us anything, neither we were given directions. Even the receptionists didn't speak English and couldn't explain us where we can go and take something to eat. Just presented us a list of their bars with the opening times and that was it. No one explained us anything about activities. The service was really poor and I wouldn't expect that from a hotel in Turkey - I am really disappointed and will not go back for sure. The beach is tiny and overcrowded with people. You have to go in 5-6 am to reserve a spot with a towel. The sunbeds were literally next to eachother. No breathing space.
On the positive side, everything was very clean, the housekeeping was excellent. And the food was great.
In summary, I will not recommend this hotel. The good food and housekeeping cannot compensate the bad service.

I stayed at Lonicera Resort June 14th, the rooms are pretty clean, sheets and towels are changed every day, we received a baby bassinet which is nice. They didn’t give us shampoo which should be in any hotel, a big minus for that. Good and tasty food, lots of traditional Turkish food, but still you can find something to eat. 3 snack bars and lots of kids food.
A very big con is that ice cream bar and kids bar near the water park is closed at 4 pm, but the water park is closing at 6pm.
Between 4 and 6 pm kids don’t have fruits, ice cream or any juice to enjoy.
We had a lot of fun at water park.
Sandy beach and warm water in June. The sun beds are a little worn out and the beach is very crowded usually.

Overall a family and kids friendly hotel where everyone has something to do!

If you are not from Russia, stay away from this hotel at all cost.
95% of the guests are Russians (working class). The hotel personnel doesn’t speak English. I travelled all over the world and I never encountered something like this. Every one speaks only Russian or Turkish.
The hotel is very crowded and the beach is extremely small. You cannot find a sunbed after 8 o’clock in the morning. Also the restaurant is very crowded and the food is low quality and repetitive. They concentrate a lot on quantity rather than quality and there are long cues. Even though we booked ultra all inclusive the drinks were a joke (no international drinks, just cheap sugary, and chemicals liquids). The desserts were the nastiest I ever ate: Some sugary paste every day. Do not be fooled by the good reviews-all the Russians leave good reviews because they feel at home. If all the reviews were posted by non-Russian people, then instead of 4.5 rating Lonicera wold have 2 stars at most. The level of food and drinks is comparable to a 3 star hotel in Bulgaria at all inclusive. I am sure that Russians get better deals for this hotel. We paid 1.500 eur for 7 days ultra all inclusive and now I feel I was ripped off.
The only positive thing I could say is that the rooms were clean, and the cleaning ladies were present every day.
