nice hotel
there is a lot of discrimination going on down here. You are not allowed to bring drinks into the pool. but have we seen family two days in a row. who do it. and the hotel master said so to them today. the man went up. and picked up another round and went down again!
a pool is a pool! then they must sit up.
there are more children in the area!
now we have to see if we want to come again!
we come from Denmark!

I stayed here for a week, such a calm and nice hotel if you want to relax and enjoy your vacation. The staff are very friendly!!! The food also was good. And the desserts every evening was dellicious. I recommend Halici definitly if you want to have a good vacation what is nearby the town center and the beach also like 10min walk.

It was basic. You get what you pay for. It was clean enough in the room but cleaned the bathroom before use (hairs). The food was very samey so ate out a few times. But the pool was clean with a good atmosphere. The staff were all friendly. The hotel is within walking distance of everything you want, eg beach and bazaar.

Not a good hotel experience.
Poor rooms with both really hard and really short beds. I’m 185 (6’1) and my feet were sticking out over the edge. Rooms don’t have any sound isolation whatsoever, and every sound from hallways, outside or even next door can be heard as if it were happening inside the room.
Bar area is outside and plays really loud music until really late which makes it practically impossible to fall asleep at any reasonable hour.
Pool area is decent, although there isn’t enough sun beds for all guests.
Restaurant is at best decent although several of the dishes are inedible.
There are people smoking everywhere, inside, outside.
And the internet connection offered is real unstable and makes it impossible to have any extended period during anything online.
Good location close to the city though.
All in all, I would not recommend. Find another place and pay a little extra.

First time visiting Turkey and we picked an amazing place. We stayed in Halici hotel and it was so wonderful. The food was lovely and the chef (can-John) was so good to cook more turkish for us. We requested it as we love to try the good the locals eat. Seray was a lovely girl who worked there and was so sweet to us all the time. Thank you Seray x. Nothing was a problem. Pool bar stay were always so friendly too and reception. No one was rude ever. The pool was always so clean and the atmosphere is relaxed. Only thing I would say about kids is the options are baby pool or 150m. But we didn't come with kids so this wasn't a concern for us. Rooms were basic but spotless. Shower is a double. Security on both gates so very safe. Turkish tea is delicious also. We will definitely be back and with our kids next time. Thank you, Antonio and Janey x

The food is so good. Every day you get different options to choose from and there are alot of options.
The location is also very good. let’s say 5 min to the beach and 10-15 to the big shops.

We stayed here for almost 2 weeks and it was our second time in this hotel so there is a lot I can say about it.
For the offered price the hotel is good in general: food is good, rooms are clean, hotel is big and staff is mostly kind. Also the location is very good, near city center and Marmaris beach.
However, there are some bad things that I have to comment...
As I said, food in general is good but sometimes it was not enough variety, sometimes no meat or fish and a lot of veggies and unflavoured pasta instead. Desserts are TRASH and the worst part of this hotel, there are a lot of colourfull and fancy cakes everyday but they literally taste to plastic (this was same last year). Normally they offer 1 or max 2 types of fruits as dessert and most of the times not even good fruit.
Breakfast food is always the same and there are not sweet things, no fruits and there is not even a toaster.
Also, as spanish (maybe not your case), the lunch times were terrible, lunch from 12.00-13.30 and dinner from 18.30-21.00 and bar closes at 23.00.
About the rooms, last year we stayed in a first floor room which was pretty big and good, but this year we stayed in an attic room which was half of the size of the other rooms and even though we told them we were going to be there for almost 2 weeks and it was our second time there, they said they could change us but they didn't.
I give 4 stars because as I said, it was all good in general, but consider all this points.
