It was a really pleasant stay and the rooms were clean and traditional. Also the people were really friendly and helped us with organising our day trips. I would always come here again!! The view is great because the hotel is higher than most others so you can also see the hot air balloons really well from there

The hotel had one of the best value for money that we ever experienced. The rooms are clean, cute and have good heating for winter. The breakfast was so nice! We did not expect that at all and the staff was super friendly and helpful, organising a ballon tour for a very fair price in the middle of the night and helping us to find nice activities without trying to sell us anything. We loved it and would 100% recommend!

It's easy to get to the city center, and the view from the rooftop is spectacular. The service was excellent and they even dealt with any problems I had. Thank you!

Small room overlooking the courtyard. Shared bathroom, where water flows on the floor - not very convenient. The floor in the room was not clean. Great view from the terrace, breakfasts are standard for Turkey. I would like heaters on the terrace to spend evenings there

This place is just FINE. It’s a hostel, not a hotel to say. You’ll have limited basic necessities (limited warm water-no hot water available, very limited room heating, nothing to reheat your food or a to get a coffee on the premises) Location is bit uphill with no direct access for a car (3-5 mins walk from the last accessible point). All this but again you get what you pay for. If you get it around 30 pounds, fair enough. But anything above it is waste.
Other than this, the place is nice, easy view of the balloons and a decent balcony to have decent photographs, the people are generally nice they let us an early check in. Thanks to them

A cozy retreat in the heart of Göreme, everything is no more than a 10 minute walk away. There is also a wonderful rooftop from which you can see the whole city, and the hot air balloons too, if you wake up at dawn. The terrace is amazing for chilling in the evening. The staff was very welcoming, and they got us a very good price for the hot air balloon ride. The buffet breakfast is abundant and tasty, including typical Turkish products. Can't recommend this enough!

Kookaburra Pension is a GREAT hotel to stay at in Göreme.
Room
Bed is very comfortable
A/C it may seem not powerful but cools the room very well.
Washroom is good, just the shower is not lined up correctly with the drain so you have to have a squeegee mop to get rid of the water. But it didn't bother us.
Very quiet.
Breakfast
It consists of traditional breakfast. Nothing big.. video included in review.
There are 2 terraces where you can watch the balloons in the morning.
You get a PERFECT 👌 view of the village and the balloon.
Staff Are very friendly.
Restaurants are walking distance. 1 minute walk and you are in the middle of the village. Attractions are close by.
You can book the hot air balloon from the hotel
If you like hiking download the hiking app and you can easily do it yourself.
Just wish this hotel has tea complimentary all day. It would be a nice gesture instead of having to go somewhere get coffee or tea and come back.
Wifi is alright not the best.

What a true Gem!
Location 10/10 , higher part of goreme so you get the best view without the need to go to those rooftop restaurants/Cafe.and a short walk to the bus stop and everything.
Room is spacious and bed is big.the hotel itself is picturesque, breakfast area is beautiful too.the whole accommodation has lots of roses set up throughout.
They have the deck that set up for photos which is so perfect.
Service/hospitality is okay.
Price is value for money, other hotels around are so expensive.
Breakfast is simple and good.
Tips is to stay longer , minimum 3 nights /3 morning for you to catch the ballon flying .

If you really want to experience it, you can try it for one night, but in fact, just visit it! There is really no need to stay overnight, it's not good to come here at night, especially if you are traveling alone with a girl, don't stay here!
