Zara Cave Hotel

Lovely hotel. Great location close to main street but far enough away to be quiet. Excellent breakfast spread. Cooked food available on request. Beautiful views. Choice of rooftop terraces. No pool or evening restaurant but access to a neighbouring hotel with pool can be arranged through reception and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby. Reception can arrange any activities you want to try, including tours, balloon flight, quad bikes, horse riding and more.

Pros:
-Great location, central to everything and Goreme is a fun town to walk around and explore
-Nice amenities (shampoo/conditioner), nice hot tub in our king room, beautiful terraces for photos
-Manager booked the hot air balloon experience for us. It was well organized and I didn’t have to worry about it
-Fantastic breakfast buffet, the honey comb was my favorite part. They also make fresh omelets for each guest
-Not dusty for a cave hotel
-Cleaned daily
-Nicely decorated in the rooms and in the common areas
Cons:
-There were a couple of terraces, but they got full in the early morning for balloon photos, so each picture spot was taken
-The air conditioner is NOISY and the light from the AC is aimed directly at my eyes, so if I wanted to sleep, I would have to turn it off. But because there is poor ventilation, you really needed the AC on
-There was an issue where one of the front desk people kicked my friend out of my room, which was so weird and they were very rude about it. I was going to write more about it, but the owner came back to apologize and explained the situation to me.
-On the instagram page, they advertise with a hot tub on the rooftop, which they do have, but it’s like 100 euros for 2 hours. I’m sorry but that's a ridiculous price to use a hot tub
Overall, not a bad hotel, but there are probably better options in Goreme

5 stars service! excellent Turkish breakfast during stay. Cannot complained with its location. Room is clean and comfortable. Will be better if there is dedicated parking space for the hotel. There is a restaurant staff here called ‘Muhammad’ who is very friendly, respectful and easily approachable. He always welcome us with a great smile and offer us some treats whenever we walked pass him, even at nights when we return to the hotel.

Our stay here was incredible. The manager and staff here are always so helpful and accommodating, they helped us with booking all of our activities and transport for us during our stay. The views from the hotel terraces are unreal and the location from the city centre was perfect.

Amazing location, excellent staff, wonderful breakfast, and a comfortable stay all around. The view of the morning hot air balloons is excellent and there are more than three terraces to take photos from. The manager is very knowledgeable and can book you any tours or experiences you need, although I do recommend booking balloons in advance just to be sure. Easy to walk to the town’s best restaurants. Each room is unique, some with balconies, some with jacuzzi tubs. Spectacular time - I hope to come back.

Beautiful hotel. Central location. Great terrace views, and staff very friendly and eager to help with anything. Yavuz manages this place perfectly in every sense. The breakfast buffet is very good as is housekeeping. They also are happy to arrange tours and transportation. Highly recommended.

It was a great experience, the rooms were beautifully designed, and the location of the hotel was close to the activities, also they had many outdoor terrace to enjoy the weather and watching the balloons. The staff at the reception were excellent, helpful and welcoming and knew the English language, especially Ahmed and Muslim, also they introduced us to the activities and helped us choose, the breakfast was simple and comprehensive, and the kitchen staff were helpful and friendly. I recommend the hotel 10/10

2 nights stay here was wonderful. Boutique hotel with lots of open space for lounging. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with a rustic charm.
The staff are very warm and friendly! Breakfast spread was delicious and enjoyable.

There's really nothing else to ask for, highly recommended place to stay in Cappadocia.

This hotel is truly amazing. There is nothing to complain about. Perfect location, spotless clean, superb service. Each room looks like fancy cave with some rooms including jacuzzi. They have several viewing terraces offering perfect views over the whole city and especially balloon flights. Breakfast is varied and delicious. There is also all day long free coffee and tea available. Hotel also runs their own travel agency offering trips around Capadoccia for lower prices than other companies in the city. Young gentleman Yavous working on the front desk should get a raise...most pleasant welcoming to a hotel in a long time.
