This place isn’t just a hotel — it’s a lifestyle. You glide in through the doors and suddenly become a more refined version of yourself. You consider speaking in hushed tones and taking up poetry. The staff treat you like royalty, but the kind of royalty who also gets free WiFi and fresh towels folded into mysterious animal shapes.
The views are so outrageously stunning they should come with a warning: may cause prolonged staring and mild smugness. The infinity pool stretches out toward the turquoise sea like it’s trying to make other pools feel bad about themselves. And the loungers? So comfy you’ll consider cancelling your plans just to bond with one.
Now, let’s talk spa. If relaxation were a competitive sport, the Likya Spa would be on the Olympic team. One massage and you’ll forget your PIN number and your last three life regrets. I emerged from the treatment room looking ten years younger and mildly dazed, like I’d been hugged by a cloud and exfoliated by angels.
The rooms are elegantly dreamy, with crisp sheets, subtle lighting and that kind of calm that makes you involuntarily whisper, “Oh this is nice,” every time you walk in. Oh, and the breakfasts? Let’s just say if they offered a second stomach on the menu, I’d have ordered it.
If you’re heading to Kalkan and don’t stay here, I can only assume you’ve been kidnapped. Five shimmering stars.
The food is first class and not too expensive when compared with other Kalkan restaurants.
Facilities: Guesthouse standard, the stone tiles in the room are all cracked, the balcony door is hard to lock after opening, the cushions of the lounge chairs next to the pool are all bird droppings and cat hair, and the hot water needs to be kept for a long time.
Service: There was no one at the front desk when I checked in, the lobby was empty like a ** castle, and then I was given a door card that couldn't be used. I couldn't find anyone to change it when I came back in the middle of the night, and I couldn't communicate in English at all.
Safety: This is the biggest problem. The phone in the room is just a decoration. There is no staff in the hotel, and the workers come and go at will.
Food: Not to mention, there is not even a hot meal early in the morning.
And it was still under renovation when I went there, and the workers occupied the elevator for a long time. I spent 1,500 yuan and thought it was a resort, but it was not as good as the B&B next door.
My stay at Likya Residence was fantastic! The room was beautiful—spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. I especially loved the pools, which were well-maintained and perfect for relaxing. The serene atmosphere and stunning views made it a wonderful getaway. Highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay!
