I recently stayed at [Rich Melissa], and it was hands down the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything went downhill.
The room was filthy, with stains on the bedding, a foul smell coming from the bathroom, and mold in the shower. The air conditioning barely worked, making the heat unbearable. To make matters worse, the staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. When I reported the issues, they shrugged it off and told me to "deal with it."
The so-called "all-inclusive" buffet was a complete joke. Food was cold, tasteless, and clearly recycled from previous meals. The dining area was chaotic, dirty, and overcrowded. I also witnessed staff ignoring guests' complaints about hygiene, which was appalling.
The pool was no better—dirty water, broken tiles, and no lifeguard on duty despite young children swimming around. Noise levels were insane at night, with loud music and rowdy guests partying until the early hours.
To top it all off, I discovered hidden fees when checking out. They tried to charge me for services I never used, like minibar snacks and extra towels.
Save yourself the stress, money, and disappointment—avoid this place like the plague.
The hotel is 3 minutes walking distance to the center. The beach is 5 minutes away by shuttle as stated. There are cafes, shopping stores and restaurants in the center and on the walking path.
This hotel was located in A BUSH AREA. At the hotel, there was no free WIFI . Booked two rooms in advance to be next to each other, nope they were on separate floors. This whole are is crappy no activities to do. WASTE OF MONEY. If you see any good reviews on this just know they are probably the turkish people who live around that are. The hotel is not foreigner friendly as it is a local hotel. Food was just terrible. A member in my family threw up and got SICK from this hotel "food". It got so bad we had to order from dominoes at eat at mcdonalds because we did not want to starve ourselves. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BOOK ON LOVE HOLIDAYS DO NOT USE THAT WEBSITE AT ALL!!!!!
Our first night was horrible, my kids couldn’t not sleep because the light and air conditioning is not working. The staff service is very poor, they can’t speak English. All they say to my children is that “I am a receptionist, nothing I can do”. I arrived here on the 29th July at night and I still don’t have light or air conditioning. I was asked to wait for the manager in the morning but they didn’t do anything. I request for the room to be changed, I was told the room is fully booked. So, basically nothing. This is my worst nightmare. I do not wish this for anyone because it is awful.
You have to buy internet for one single mobile use for €2 for 24 hours. It’s not free. The place is boring, no activities.
I was told on my second day 30th July to pay £50 each for child for outdoor activities and a 4 year old is £45.
I know that one of the staff in the hotel will reply to this message saying that it’s not true. But I need you to work on your customers service and satisfaction because this hotel is a waste of money. I am not sure how I am going to finish the rest of my few days because of the light/AC nothing working.. you can’t believe that day two of my stay in the hotel, no light and air conditioning, the place is very hot. Myself and my children are spending most times in the reception.
The only people that will book for this hotel is the people that did not read the reviews before booking. Please if you read the reviews and you still book for this hotel, it’s at your own risk.
The only good thing is the view of the mountain from the hotel. That’s why I rate one star
Things in most rooms. Spa man is inappropriate with females. Towels not changed. They do not like the young adults there or any laughing or noise if you are English. They refused alcahol to young adults and even smacked one when we were there. They are liars and changed our room after 1 week as they said it was faulty electrics although it was actually not faulty and moved another family who were friends with the owner into out larger room and made us move to a smaller one. If you want a sunned then you have to go down at midnight the night before to put your towel out else you won’t get one. There are only 36 sunbeds available which is not even I bed per room. lol. Kemer is quite expensive for everything and the shops and taxi drivers try to scam you to. The beach club moonlight beach was lovely though. And also Qualista restaurant on the harbour were amazing. Jeep safari is not like in other areas of turkey, you just drive up the mountains, not fun or water fights, rubbish lunch and very rushed with only a few jeeps. Quad bike was great but more like 3/4 hour driving not 2 hours like they say. Antalya tour was not great either, they rush you about, you don’t even get time to relax a bit or have a drink. I would never go back to that hotel
Or area again.
Myself and a friend stayed at this hotel at the beginning of June. We did see the reviews but as experienced previously reviews are a personal opinion and remained optimistic. Please don’t take this as a fully negative review the hotel was still adequate for the standard sleeping & showering.
I will start with rooms, the room we had was perfect for what we needed this for which was just sleeping and showering. However the shower itself was a little broken flying off mid shower the doors would leak out and flood the room and the head was dirty. However it did as intended and sprayed water. The beds were comfortable and the rooms was spacious for two people, an extra blanket and quilt was provided if you was cold. Unfortunately the major issue with the room was the house keeping. Our beds were not changed once and they forgot to provide new towels more than once and the soap wasn’t filled at all and remained empty until we left This was not just the case with us as a few other guests mentioned in conversation. We did still leave the room completely clean and all rubbish bagged up for the housekeeper just to be respectful.
Secondly, the facilities were okay. The pool was clean it opened at 10am to 6pm and the slide is off between 12pm & 3pm. There were literally 20 sun beds and 6 tables with 4 chairs to each by the pool. The lobby had a few sofas that I found quite comfortable. That’s really all there was, they had WiFi for €2 per day (but it’s cheaper in Lira same surrounding shops as I noticed), one bar and one ‘restaurant’ (where there’s no signal for the paid WiFi).
Thirdly, the all inclusive food and drinks were basic. Drink wise there was vodka, gin, raki, beer or wine there was no premium drinks or anything you could buy extra that’s all they had, mixers were cheap tasting but if that’s what you like (freeway cola from Lidl) it’s not bad. The food I’d suggest if you are picky do not stay here. I am a lover of trying new & unique foods, especially country specific foods however that’s all it was and they wasn’t great. Everyday for lunch and dinner it was rice with fish, chicken and a vegetable option. There were 4 hot items breakfast, lunch & dinner the rest was salads or the day before left overs made to look pretty with some sauce. The breakfast is like a salami sausage (cold), boiled eggs, potato wedges & a few cereals. Bread was also served with every meal. Lunch was salads with rice. Dinner was rice if lucky a beefy tasting pasta (no actual beef) salads again with the meat choice. The last day we were there was a kabab type that I very much enjoyed. Desserts were decent but mainly a neon coloured jelly, a cake and some fruit.
The local restaurants were very enjoyable and cheap and would definitely recommend eating out.
They also provide a free shuttle service to the beach which was okay. The bus itself was extremely hot but the beach was pretty and nice. It is a pebble beach as there is only one sand beach but that is a 25 minute walk away but definitely worth the visit. The bar on the beach is quite expensive so make sure to ask to pay as you buy and not all at the end.
Finally, the staff themselves were quite nice, however, do struggle to understand what you are saying if you are not Turkish. Luckily, this wasn’t a problem and we just used translate that worked perfectly. We were unlucky enough to be involved in the love holiday & FTI group insolvency but after the original document from staff it was all sorted with love holidays themself. I booked the boat trip through the REP there and it was a bit more expensive but worth it as I unfortunately lost my bag with all my money and wallet in on the trip but they was able to get it all back the next day! That was very much down to the reception staff who called and arranged everything.
Overall, I probably wouldn’t return but it is perfect for a cheap and unfussy person that just wants to sleep, shower and go out.
